The Christmas season is our biggest time of year to collect donations for our programs serving youth. The donations we collect during the holiday season not only help us provide gifts to children who would otherwise go without, but they also fund our most critical after-school and summer camp programs throughout the year. Every dollar raised helps give our youth the Christmas they deserve and the yearlong support they so desperately need.

Learn how to demonstrate competence in applying a biblical worldview as you engage adolescents within their own culture. The Youth Ministries B.S. degree will also equip you to demonstrate professional skills in planning, organizing, and developing Christian youth ministries.

As culture constantly shifts, young people today need Christian leaders who can engage with them, share biblical truths applicable to specific, difficult issues, and inspire them to change the world rather than be changed by it. If God has lit a fire in your soul to spread His love to young people, you can fuel those flames with a youth ministries concentration at PCC, designed to root you in the Word and prepare you to reach the next generation.

The Youth Ministry Practicum (PR 420) immerses students in Christian Service opportunities at Campus Church or at an approved local church. The class meets with the Campus Church youth pastor weekly to discuss counseling and teaching young people from the Bible and organizing youth activities.

Dynamic Youth Ministries (DYM) provides programs, curriculum, materials, and training designed to bring children and youth into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. DYM has four divisions: Cadets, GEMS, Youth Unlimited, and The Esther School. Each of these divisions partner with churches in meeting the unique needs of boys, girls, early teens, and high school youth.

Are you passionate about youth ministry and adolescent development in church settings? A bachelor's degree in youth ministries at Messiah University, one of the top Christian universities in the U.S., may be the right fit for you!

Young people are the future, and there is no work more noble than equipping them to lead well by discerning the voice of God in their lives. If helping students discover the calling God has for them is your passion, the youth ministry minor is the perfect complement to your degree.

The course curriculum includes classes on Christian discipling, a study of motivation, guidance, and method as they apply to youth and youth ministries, and the study of major trends and issues confronting and shaping young people in American culture today.

Welcome! Our diocesan youth ministry program is designed to enhance the faith formation of our youth by broadening their spiritual development through a variety of youth events, including weekend retreats throughout the program year and opportunities for camp and service-learning during the summer. Through peer ministry, our youth serve as the face of Jesus for each other, live into servant ministry, strengthen their faith, build Christ-centered relationships, and become empowered in the leadership of our Church.

The diocese also provides enrichment for youth workers and volunteers by offering opportunities for networking, professional development, spiritual formation, and resources for our Diocesan Youth Ministers (DYM) through regular DYM meetings, as well as coaching and consulting for individual parishes.

Our older, elementary school children are already starting to peek into the youth room to see what lies ahead. Middle school youth group is their introduction to the community that will support them through their graduation from high school and beyond. This program is for students in grades 7 and 8.

It is our mission to make it easy for kids and young adults to know God through youth and young adult ministries as well as being a resource for local church leaders. Pacific Western Region (PWR) Youth Ministry is a revolutionary movement of Unitarian Universalist youth engaged in creating covenanted communities and dedicated to seeking transformation and the formation of holy space.

Note: This vision was crafted through a joint meeting of the PSWD, PNWD, and MDD youth boards (Feb 2018) in consultation with the UUA Youth Ministry Associate and the PWR Youth Ministry Specialist. Post event, PCD YRUUP provided some critical feedback which resulted in edits.

Join a Global team (or lead your youth group) and spend a week (or even 7 weeks) serving alongside our mentors overseas. Opportunities to reach the youth outside of our country are limitless. Will you GO?

Our short term mission projects are conducted in cooperation with the International Mission Board and other mission agencies. We take teams to places where we already have mission staff on site to help guide on-going efforts to reach young people OR to places where we believe there is strong potential to develop youth ministry. Almost all of our overseas mission projects have a strong youth ministry component in which young people reach out to their peers in another culture. We sponsor mission projects in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and South America. Contact us to find out more possibilities for your group to help strengthen youth ministry around the world.

Global Youth Ministry is a multi-faceted ministry organization with a focus on educating and equipping today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders for Christ here at home and on the mission field.

The GDYD is your headquarters for Student Ministry in the Georgia District of the United Pentecostal Church International. We seek to meet the above mission by providing training programs for youth and youth workers, ministry and missions opportunities, and resources for evangelism and discipleship. We support various ministries by raising funds through the Sheaves for Christ (SFC) program and coordinate events intentionally focused on engaging students and connecting them with Jesus Christ.

The Youth Ministries Minor offers students the opportunity to consider theoretical and philosophical approaches to ministry with teenagers while developing beginning skills in leading and volunteering in youth ministry settings. The minor includes 18 credits in courses that study church and para-church ministry theory, adolescent issues and culture, as well as skill development courses in small group leadership, administration, practical programming, and Bible study. It includes a field placement setting during one semester (during the school year or in the summer) to develop hands-on skills in youth ministry in a supervised setting. 2351a5e196
