God ordained the times and the seasons and expects us to understand them in order to know what we are supposed to be doing in every season. If we do not know what God expects from us in a particular season, how do we end up knowing if we were successful or not?
The Bible mentions that God determined our preappointed times for in Him we live and move and have our being. For us then to be successful in living, and moving according to the will and plan of God for our lives, we have to understand the God ordained times and seasons.
Today I want to continue the dialogue by sharing some verses that bring me encouragement during seasons of waiting. A lot of these come from Psalms because, well, King David was a man who knew how fallible he was as a human, how much his soul ached for God, and how he needed to truly rely on his Maker. His words are so beautiful and have really become a prayer for me during times of learning to wait on the Lord. I hope these bring you some hope and joy too, friends!

Many times we find ourselves in a season of waiting. We are waiting on the Lord to redeem us from a hard situation, or from a difficult employer, or waiting on financial aid. We often are waiting on God for many things. In those seasons of waiting, God is there. He is using those times just as effectively as He uses the good times and the hard times. He is transforming us into the likeness of Christ. The times of waiting are not wasted. They are a part of His process.
