Former Nickelodeon host Marc Summers recently revealed the secret ingredients to creating slime in a Tech Insider interview. It turns out all you need are some basic pantry staples: vanilla pudding, applesauce, green food coloring, and oatmeal (which explains that icky consistency). Here's how to use the classic Nickelodeon ingredients to whip up a batch of your own slimy green goo.

Making classic Nickelodeon slime is super easy. Mix together the oatmeal, applesauce and vanilla pudding in a large bowl, stirring slowly and thoroughly as you go. Add the green food coloring at the end, and voil, you've got your very own batch of slime. Double, triple, or quadruple the recipe to get even more slime. (Bonus: It's totally edible, so no worries if someone you slime ends up getting it in their mouth.)

That's right, 90's kids! You can buy Nickelodeon Slime Sauce and douse your food in as much green goo as your heart desires. Think of the possibilities! Squirt some of this oddly-colored sauce on your hot dog and dip your fries in it. Go nuts! The slime sauce is basically just green ketchup, even though it looks like it's made of broccoli and not tomato paste.

Slime sauce is a collaboration between Nickelodeon and Walmart, of all places. A bottle of the green stuff can be yours for just under $3, but really, can you put a price on nostalgia or happiness? We think not. We know our own kiddos are too young to appreciate the days of Marc Summers and Double Dare, but is there a kid in the world who wouldn't love to dip their food into the equivalent of edible snot?

According to Nickelodeon blog NickALive, the slime sauce ketchup is an exclusive collaboration with Walmart's Great Value brand and is currently only available for purchase at the grocery chain in-store. Since the bottles of slime ketchup come in 20-ounce containers, you'll have plenty of the green substance to pour all over the hot dogs, hamburgers, and fries you'll eat this summer.

The Emerald Slime, lord of the verde sauces. Refreshingly bright and perfect on breakfast. Roasted tomatillos, an ideal balance of jalapeno and serrano peppers, and a hint of lime make this sauce versatile and ready for any feast your slimy mitts chef up.

Walmart's private label, in collaboration with Nickelodeon, is launching Slime Sauce. Although the real slime was rumored to be a combo of applesauce and vanilla pudding, this sauce is ketchup in disguise. You can take it to your summer BBQ and cover your hot dogs, burgers, and French fries in lime green "slime." Yum?

As a kid through the early 90's, it didn't take much get you hyped. Times were simple. While watching Nickelodeon's show Double Dare, you'd wait on the edge of your seat for someone to get green goo dumped all over them. It was a freaking thrill.
