Has anyone had a problem with Yahoo Mail deleting emails without their permission? I got rid of all of my filters, and it's still deleting things without my actually hitting "delete", putting them into the trash can. I don't really know what to do to fix this - it's driving me nuts. And conveniently, Yahoo has zero customer service for their email accounts.

Sorry to read of the trouble you are having with your email. On this page you will see a section named Internet Hot Topics. You will find a link labeled Email Troubleshooting. Click on that, you will find some troubleshooting information there. If you are on a browser, the link will be to the right. If you are on a mobile device, scroll down to find it.

When I contacted Yahoo Email Support they suggested I install Norton Security to fix the problem. I have had Norton Security on my system for several years. What does Norton Security have to do with the Yahoo Email Inbox? I asked a local computer shop and they said Norton wouldn't affect Yahoo's email function one way or another.

Your computer shop was right. Yahoo suggests using IMAP, which Norton does not support. It is possible to use POP3, but again Yahoo uses an encrypted port that Norton cannot monitor. And if you are using webmail instead of a local email client, Norton has nothing to do with that. Today with most email service providers insisting on encrypted ports, you are pretty much dependent on the provider itself doing the spam detection. There are some exceptions with security products that are able to scan encrypted ports, but to do so they need to decrypt the messages -- which introduces its own concerns. Many email clients, like Outlook, include their own antispam filters, some of which, like Thunderbird's, are quite effective.

Already made sure that Thunderbird is configured to download / view all emails in IMAP and there is no pruning going on (i.e. no date range limitations in any settings I can find). Also, the Inbox email file size is only 635MB - well below the 4GB limit. The amount of emails in the folder is an exact 10,000 emails.

I understand that when I create an inbox sub-folder, and then synch eM Client with my Yahoo mail provider, the inbox sub-folders will be removed. I had moved a few of my local folders to inbox sub-folders. Are all these emails now gone forever, or is there a way to recover them?

If you create a sub-folder in eM Client, then it should reflect on the Yahoo server and you should see the subfolder there as well as the emails you moved in the folder.

Did you experience that the subfolder disappeared?

The Yahoo mail menu is there but the Firefox menu is on top of it. I tried Firefox safe mode with everything disabled and the problem still happened. I tried Yahoo mail in IE 9 and the right mouse button works correctly.

The first image below is a screenshot that I cropped to show just the right mouse menu that I see. The Yahoo mail menu flashes quickly and then is over laid by this menu. In the second image I managed to catch a bit of the flash of the yahoo mail menu - you can see the frame of the menu.

In the native mail app, the Yahoo inbox won't update. Other Yahoo folders will update - so when I send an email to myself, the sent email will show up, but the incoming will not. This is happening in both my iPhone and my iPad. The web interface to Yahoo mail is fine.

You may not like this but here's what I did. Create a new Subfolder called InBox2 or something like that. Login to YaHoo Webmail and setup a Filter for all .com mail to go to the InBox2 Subfolder. If you need additional Filters for .biz, .gov, .net, etc you can always create them and point them to your new InBox2 Subfolder. I know it's not the answer you want to hear but until Yahoo either fixes the problem which they seem reluctant to do this will work. You won't be able to search past email history unless you move all your mail from your InBox to your new InBox2 Subfolder.

Yahoo has additional requirements to display a logo in their inbox. For example, the email address must have sufficient reputation and engagement. Yahoo won't disclose how these metrics are measured, but there is a list of things that influence "reputation" on their FAQs page.

For everyone else:

First, you will need complete the BIMI specification. Then, you will need to complete any additional requirements that each email service provider may have to display the logo in their inbox. This tutorial walks you through the process and explains everything you need to know.

I'm not too sure about Yahoo as I personally do not use it nor have I ever tried to add a logo to a email before but yahoo and gmail tend to have similarities and I found a few links on the net that might help with your situation.

Maybe what you are looking for can be achieved by changing your Yahoo account profile picture. So you need to put your logo as account profile pic. Usually in Gmail this happens by changing your account profile picture.

SmartyAadi, i did exactly as u said, cleared for just yahoo mail but still get enable cookies from brave or yahoo as above. i get no obstruction from any other sites i log in since using brave about 5 years. and it worked in yahoo mail always except starting 2 months ago.

thanks for all the tips!

afaik there is a trick to get the free yahoo mail working with pop3 mail clients (google is your friend you need to change your region in yahoo prefferences)

I have 2 yahoo! accounts working in T-bird with these settings

I have spent the past hour and a half trying to link to my yahoo and have been chatting with one of the sales guys but he has been unable to help me. I have set up filters which has whitelisted hubspot and have tried all of the other tips and troubleshooting but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I do this?

Why it was not working. HubSpot set the email system up as an app and if you look at your web browser it will say something like -settings-email/9894857/email/connectedEmails so it is viewed by yahoo as an app.

This allows me to make the connection, but it gets disconnected after sending multiple emails. I've gone back and forth with hubspot and yahoo support and nobody can figure out why i'm losing connection. Any help would be appeciated

Thanks for taking the time to map this out. I'm working with it but having a disconnect on step 10: Click on Integrations then email Integrations. "Email Integrations" doesn't show up. I'm chatting with HS and they say yahoo is not supported then we sent them this community page and they indicate I should share a screenshot to ask what others do here. I'm not able to get through step 10. They pointed us to some IMAP workaround but that isn't working.

If you are still experiencing issues with connecting your inbox, can you please share (either through here or direct message) the information requested here. I am happy to assist further once we have this information!

SO this works when im initially connecting. however, when i start blasting out emails through hubspot with my yahoo small busines account, it randomly disconnects. Ive talked to yahoo AND hubspot, and nobody can figure out why its kicking me off when i send emails. some emails work but others get disconnected. Can anyone help?

We tried all of those - with the whitelisting and filter option. I have no idea how to do the IMAP/STMP. We are a small community beneficial society who has just been awarded funding so have not IT support so it is just me trying to figure it out. The sales guy said that other users use yahoo and to post here asking for advice as to what to do next

Unique to Yahoo Mail, Shopping Saver surfaces long-forgotten gift cards, discount codes, and store credits in user inboxes, and drafts suggested messages to vendors to help apply those savings after a purchase has been made. Nearly half of U.S. adults have at least one unused gift card, gift voucher or store credit, and now Yahoo Mail users are able to cash in on their inbox.

Are you tired of a cluttered Yahoo Mail inbox? Do you spend too much time searching for important emails among the spam and junk mail? If so, you're not alone. Many people struggle to keep their email inbox organized and tidy. In this article, we'll explore some tips and tricks to help you clean your Yahoo Mail inbox and keep it that way.

Before we dive into the how-to of cleaning your Yahoo Mail inbox, let's talk about why it's important. A cluttered inbox can be overwhelming and stressful, leading to decreased productivity and increased frustration. Plus, it can make it difficult to find important emails when you need them. By cleaning up your inbox, you can improve your email management skills, reduce stress, and increase efficiency.

The first step to cleaning your Yahoo Mail inbox is to delete unnecessary emails. This includes spam, junk mail, and any emails that you've already read and no longer need. To do this, you can use Yahoo's built-in tools to quickly select and delete multiple emails at once. Simply select the emails you want to delete, click the trash can icon, and confirm that you want to delete them.

Another way to clean your Yahoo Mail inbox is to organize it with folders. This allows you to categorize your emails and keep them separate from your main inbox. For example, you might create folders for work emails, personal emails, and newsletters. To create a folder, click on the gear icon in the top right corner of your inbox, select ""Settings,"" and then click on ""More Settings."" From there, you can click on ""Folders"" and then ""Add"" to create a new folder. ff782bc1db
