While Intel tests, updates, and deploys new microcode, we are making available an out-of-band (OOB) update, KB4078130, that specifically disables only the mitigation against CVE-2017-5715. The bottom line is after it installed all my laptop is showing now is the command prompt as seen in the attached image. I can't access anything else. Please help me get my laptop back to normal.

I tried to install Sophos connect to a windows server 2016 to run server as a client. I installed it, I Imported the config file but when I Try to connect it says OpenVPN service is not available. In the server manager dashboard, when I click on the RDS role card or whatever you call it, and then click on Overview, I get this message "You are currently logged on as local administrator on the computer. You must be logged on as a domain user to manage servers and collections.".

I have done it in the past with Windows 11 installations with no problems. Driver issues aside (since these are gaming motherboards/platforms) will Windows server at least boot up correctly without any special migration software?

Can we temporarily remove a machine from the site, upgrade it to 2022 then add it back to the site while the other two machines are still running 2016? We would then follow this process for the other two machines, taking down one at a time to upgrade the OS.
