If you administer only a few MikroTik devices, you can manually update them one by one using the WinBox tool. This is a very easy task if you install only the long-term versions. That version is rarely updated and contains only the major bug fixes.

This process is easy. You will need to type a few commands. You can use the built-in terminal, the SSH access or the local console of the PC version. I will not recommend you to use Telnet access anymore.

In this version of Winbox V2.2.18, there are facilities that are slightly more special than the recently launched version. Namely, we can scan Ip Addresses and also Mac addresses from our router Mikrotik. If upgrading, you can backup your saved managed sessions from tools export but be sure to savethem to a location outside of the application because overwriting the applicaiton will replace theentire winbox environment. When exporting be sure to go back to the / then find the path to your user profile.

Hi Abu, your publication is very important. I have a problem with this RBSXT5nDr2 device, I mistakenly update its firmware in the testing version and I can not access the configuration. It throws me user error and password, I reset it to factory mode and it continues with the problem and the testing version.
