I bought the Redmi Note 8 Pro when it released. I absolutely adore that phone, and with it came the dynamic sounds feature in MIUI 11. This enabled me to choose nature alarm, weather alarm and so forth. Brilliant stuff. For example, when choosing weather alarm, I some days wake up to a beautiful rainforesty sound, and other days I wake up to singing birds.

But yesterday I got Redmi Note 10 and I can't find these alarm sounds anywhere. When I go to the alarm and choose ringtone, I just get into some stupid Mi Store with tons of short sounds. No option to choose the dynamic alarms. But when I go to my alarms on the Note 8 Pro, the nature alarm is selected, but even then when I click on ringtones where it says "nature alarm", I get into the same MIUI 12 store crap and get the same tones as I do on the Note 10. I cant find nature alarm on the Note 8 Pro, even though it is activated right now.

My Tasker Weather Alarm project checks for a weather forecast around the time you need to wake up and selects the best matching alarm ringtone to the weather situation outside. In my case, I opted out for weather ambient effects, but nothing stops you from replacing these with sounds or songs to combat the elements or complement a beautiful day outside.

The entire project is split into 3 tasks. Every day Tasker obtains the weather forecast for the next 4 days and checks the alarms on your phone. If the alarm is set, the forecast is being matched against the alarm, and Tasker replaces your default alarm sound with the forecast-adjusted version.

The project checks for alarms and updates the weather at midnight every day, by executing these tasks in a logical order by the main task. If your schedule is more hectic, you can change the pattern or increase the frequency of the alarm queries.

Register the account and generate the API Key which will be used to obtain the weather report in your location. You can substitute fixed coordinates, zip code, city name or use Tasker Get Location to obtain your location. To set custom alarm sounds, we need custom sounds. I used Zedge app to download ambient weather effects and mixed it up with my alarm ringtone in Audacity or a similar audio editing program. To make them sound nice, simply let the sounds blend together by ramping down the volume of the track gently as the other one starts.

Is it possible to set a ringtone as a text tone in iOS 17? Bought a new text tone to set for one of my friends. It is categorioed as a ringtone though, so can't seem to set it as a text tone. Anyone know how to make it work?

Since the most recent security and phone updates apps that I used different tones has reverted back to what my text message tone is, I now can no longer change the notification sounds for different apps. Has anyone else ran into this?

I used to be able to change the notification sounds for weather app, amazon, Facebook, Messenger, a few of my games and my security cameras.

Now when I click on the"Notifications" for each app the only options I have are "Allow sound and vibration" and "Delivery Quietly"
