When you're setting a wallpaper, you don't wanna set it from the Windows Photo Viewer.

Instead, set it directly from the image file, right click and choose Set as desktop background.

I am making a collection of default desktop wallpapers of all the Windows versions. I have got windows 10's wallpaper from my pc, windows 7, 8 and 8.1's from my friend's pc. But none of my friends have windows XP on their pc. I will get older releases(win 2000, 95 etc) wallpaper from virtual machines. But windows XP's iso image is just so large.

I am trying to get a script to work that will change the default wallpaper for windows 10 because I will be deploying Win10 to all clients. When I run the batch code below, it is not changing the default wall paper. I see that the img0 file is in the correct directory C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\Windows but it is not changing the background. The code below is what I am using. I have to run windows either as dual-boot or in a VM to maintain compatibility with colleagues. I also have a computer provided to me with my work machine for outlook, VPN and various custom apps for finance and to access printers at my work since I do not have admin privileges to connect them in Linux. My son therefore made a windows wallpaper of the blue screen for when I am running windows. Colleagues may see it at a meeting and think I have a problem with my machine. Gives me a chuckle anyway.

pushing wallpaper via gpo for Windows 7 machines results in some computers showing only black wallpaper. but checking the desktop wallpaper configuration shows that it is configured correct. even the registry settings! only for some Windows 7 machines.

Can be anything I just used this title because this style is similar to the latest Windows 11 OS wallpaper. The challenge was to recreate similar look inside Blender. Some requested to have this as a desktop wallpaper too.
