I have downloaded the webcam PRO utility, upgraded to the paid version and on a 30 day trial. I'm using a Canon R5 on firmware 1.8.1. Connected via USB C the application appears to work correctly both wired and wirelessly and I can see the footage from the camera perfectly in applications like Zoom and Teams however when I add the camera in VMIX, it doesn't show any content, infact it doesn't show even a black screen or an error. It appears to be hung up grabbing the stream from the camera. In the side by side application, you can see the webcam utility is communicating with the camera, VMIX recognizes that it's content that it can render which is why the box appears, but where I expect to see content on the left in my VMIX object this just hangs like this and never renders my live content from the camera. Curious if anyone has any ideas...

I see that now. Most of the supported applications are actually platforms. VMIX being one of the leading professional streaming and production tools I hope a future release between one of the two enables them to work together, in the mean time I'm better off cancelling my subscription and purchasing a USB capture card.

Thanks, no I saw that on the VMIX forum from 2 years ago. It predates the PRO version and I was hopeful this version resolved any issues, plus I have the legacy tool working with VMIX. I was liking the pro version due to it's WIFI connectivity.

vMix is a software vision mixer available for the Windows operating system. The software is developed by StudioCoast PTY LTD. Like most vision mixing software, it allows users to switch inputs, mix audio, record outputs, and live stream cameras, videos files, audio, and more, in resolutions of up to 4K. The software is also capable of serving image magnification (IMAG) and projection needs in many instances, with various configurable external output and display options.[3][4]

vMix is available in multiple editions ranging in price and available features. Current editions[5] include Basic, Basic HD, SD, HD, 4K, and Pro. Users can upgrade from one edition to another for the difference between the original edition purchased and the one you wish to upgrade to.[6] Updates are provided for free for 1 year with a purchase of any edition, after 1 year users can opt to purchase additional years for US$60.[7]

vMix heavily takes advantage of the GPU, and relies on graphics libraries such as Direct3D, making the software exclusive to the Windows operating system, though it can be run through Boot Camp. StudioCoast has previously indicated that the software performs best on dedicated Nvidia video cards.[8][9]

With the release of version 19, vMix Call is available, marking the first time a software vision mixer has been released with built in video-conferencing.[10] With vMix call, any third party with access to a web browser (on any platform including mobile) can connect remotely to the vMix software. This allows the operator to incorporate the call into a live production in the same way that they would with any other source. The number of simultaneous calls varies by version with 1 caller available on the HD level, 4 with 4K and 8 calls on the pro level. vMix call is not available with Basic or Basic HD versions.

vMix Social allows operators to incorporate social media content and comments from Twitter, Facebook, Twitch and YouTube Live and IRC Channels. Content can be queued from any web browser and integrated with animated titles within vMix.

With the release of version 22, vMix includes a new graphics engine for visuals and overlays, dubbed "GT Graphics Engine". Accompanying the new engine is a more comprehensive titling application called "GT Title Designer" which supports more robust functions than the original title designer (which is still included) and also supports animations. Version 22 also brought the release of a proprietary codec aimed at streamlining post-production: "vMix Video Codec", it has been described as having "similar quality to ProRes but with very low CPU usage."[11]

If you have EasyWorship presentation software, and you have a video camera and capture card or a webcam, you can live stream your camera feed and also have lower thirds text overlaid. You can also send any media or presentation slides you have in EasyWorship to your live stream.

You can go to the vMix website and click Download at the top of the page. Then, click to download the latest version of vMix. It will include everything you need to get this done. Once downloaded, install it and then open it from the icon on your desktop or from your Windows start menu. If you need more features than what comes with the basic version of vMix, you can check out their paid versions as well. That will give you access to things like higher video resolutions and more. You can also currently get a 60 day free trial of the Pro version.

Creating a feed in EasyWorship requires you to have a camera connected to your computer via a capture card or USB connection or built into the computer monitor. Once you have your camera set up with your computer, follow the steps below to create a feed in EasyWorship.

You can add the theme you created to a specific song by adding a song to your schedule and then drag and drop the theme onto that song in the schedule. If you want to use the theme on all your songs, you can set it as your default song theme by right-clicking on the theme and choosing Set as Default Song Theme. That way, any song that uses the default theme will use it and the background will be your feed and the text will be in the lower thirds of the slide.

Dan Willard has been helping EasyWorship customers troubleshoot since 2006. He is head of all things training and teaches a weekly webinar which helps EasyWorship newbies look like pros. I've attached a file where example 1 where vMix was set to record the ZOOM stream not record.

Example 2 is set where vMix is set to stream the ZOOM call and not record.

I'm not sure why in example 2 we see the video smaller?

I'm using a HP Laptop, ZOOM version 5.17.10 (33775), No error code displayed and reporting what I"m seeing from the ZOOM recording on the website. I already contacted vMix, and got as far as correcting the connection with ZOOM and vMix, so what remains is getting help with correcting the ZOOM output

I am introducing the new version of Simple Labels for the vMix application. Simple Labels allows you to control the display of labels from another computer on the LAN network or locally from a computer with vMix installed. It enables easy and quick addition and editing of the content of lower thirds by the producer or another person. By delegating the task of editing and displaying lower thirds to another person, the vMix operator has less work and can focus more on enhancing the event production and communicating with camera operators, publishers, or event producers.

The Simple Labels system for vMix does not require any complex network configuration or hardware. You only need to know the IP address of the computer running vMix and have TCP port 8099 open between Simple Labels and vMix.

I have provided a free version of Simple Labels for vMix. This version supports only one lower third (Title) at a time, provided that the label is on INPUT1 in the vMix program. Other than that, this version has full functionality.

If you like Simple Labels, we can create a complete version of the application with features specifically tailored for you and your studio. This version will have a full commercial user license and one year of technical support. 152ee80cbc
