Hey everybody. I recently started watching Chainsawman and I fell in love with the Kick Back opening, especially the part orchestral part minute 1:43. I would be forever grateful if somebody could tell me what genre of music that part is, and if there are similar songs with this type orchestral violin music?

The opening itself is fire, don't get me wrong. One the best i've seen in a while. Lots of references, good animation, interesting foreshadowing and etc. But the song... Just doesn't fit.I expected from chainsaw man something metal related. Maybe even some Hardcore music. Of course, there are many ways you could go with it, not only Metal or Hardcore. But no matter what, i sincerely believe that the song they choose just doesn't fit with the theme. Maybe lyrics fit, but the song itself doesn't.

Aside from showing your favorite devil hunters in action, the opening pays homage to a handful of films and other creative works. Director and storyboard lead Shingo Yamashita is quite the cinephile, recreating scenes straight out of cult classics like Pulp Fiction and The Big Lebowski.

One thing that Chainsaw Man fans immediately recognized was the number of film references in the anime's opening. Tatsuki Fujimoto, the author of Chainsaw Man, is a known movie enthusiast who always comments about movies in the notes between chapters and makes references in the story. MAPPA crammed several film references into a one-minute and thirty-second opening sequence to showcase Fujimoto's appreciation for film.

Reservoir Dogs was the first and most obvious reference in Chainsaw Man's opening sequence. The opening referenced the 1992 film by showing Makima leading Aki, Denji, and Power across the road in a way that paralleled the movie.

However, that's not the only connection between Chainsaw Man and Reservoir Dogs. Looking at the two side-by-side, it's obvious that the Devil Hunters' uniforms are inspired by the suits worn in Reservoir Dogs. MAPPA started the opening off with a bang with this sharp reference to the hit Tarantino film.

One of the sweetest scenes in the opening was the visual of a young Denji hugging Pochita. However, it's a reference to a disturbing scene in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre where Leatherface cradles two of his victims' disfigured and rotting corpses.

Chainsaw Man's opening perfectly recreated a scene from the movie. Instead of the evil spirits fighting each other, the opening foreshadowed Denji's fight against the Katana Devil in front of the exact same well that's in Sadako Vs. Kayako.

Aki and Himeno recreated the scene in Chainsaw Man's opening, complete with similar lighting and identical facial expressions. It may not seem like much, but the scene meant a lot to avid fans of Chainsaw Man who've read the manga and understand the importance of Aki and Himeno's friendship. MAPPA certainly exceeded fans' expectations by including minor details like this in the opening.

The reference to Thor: Love And Thunder is more subtle than others in Chainsaw Man's opening, but Marvel enthusiasts instantly recognized the font used for Power's name. Power was shown a few times in the intro, but this specific moment was her scene, and using the font definitely drew attention to the fan-favorite blood fiend.

One of the funniest scenes from Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes was when a group of public officials needed to hold a meeting, but they were crammed in like sardines and struggling to get comfortable. Kisibe, Arai, Aki, and Kobeni recreated the scene in Chainsaw Man's opening.

Pulp Fiction is a cult classic film, so it was inevitable that it'd have its own reference in Chainsaw Man's opening. Kishibe is seen pointing a gun at someone just like how Jules Winnfield, played by Samuel L. Jackson, did in the film.

Though it's a simple scene, the lighting and positioning of the gun perfectly replicate the scene from Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. This was one of the most obvious references in Chainsaw Man's opening, exciting avid fans of both the movie and the anime.

One of the standout scenes in Chainsaw Man's opening was when the main crew went bowling. Denji polished a bowling ball, while Aki tossed his down one of the lanes. This scene was a reference to the 1998 film, The Big Lebowski.

Angel Devil didn't stand out as much as some of the other characters in Chainsaw Man's opening, but he still had his moment. He was depicted sitting near the bottom of a dark, eerie staircase. It was similar to a scene from the 1990 psychological thriller, Jacob's Ladder.

Power and Denji recreated a scene from Don't Look Up in Chainsaw Man's opening. The scene showed Power and Denji screaming, obviously terrified of something. Denji's pose made the reference obvious since the actor in Don't Look Up made the exact same pose.

Another obvious film reference in Chainsaw Man's opening was its reference to the Coen Brothers' 2007 thriller, No Country For Old Men. Similar to the film, Galgali sat on a bed taking off one of his shoes.

The room in the Chainsaw Man opening is nearly the same as the room in which Chigurh from the film was sitting. In No Country For Old Men, the scene occurred after Chigurh attacked and killed a group of innocent people at a motel. After that, he sat down, calmly taking his shoes and socks off.

Chainsaw Man's opening referenced quite a few Quentin Tarantino films. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood was a 2019 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. In the movie, DiCaprio plays a stunt double for a famous actor named Rick Dalton. The stunt double, Cliff, often drives Rick around in his car.

The film kicks off with a scene of the duo driving around in a car. Denji and Aki recreated this scene in Chainsaw Man's opening. It's unclear where they're headed, but the destination doesn't matter since it's such a recognizable reference.

Chainsaw Man's opening could have referenced David Fincher's Fight Club in any number of ways, but choosing the iconic golden bowling ball was perfect. In Fight Club, Project Mayhem decided to destroy a landmark - a giant golden bowling ball. However, the slightest movement made the ball roll downhill and into a local cafe.

Here's a video by the slow-moving folks at Slow Mo Lab, revealing the don't-try-this-at-home technique involved in opening a Coke/cider bottle with a chainsaw. Lessons learned: even at slow-motion speed, a chainsaw appears to move really fast, and both Coke and cider bottle caps make a delightful "pop" noise when forcibly chainsaw-removed.

Warning: SPOILERS for the Chainsaw Man mangaA nearly 10-second segment in Chainsaw Man's opening song where various characters are sitting in a movie theater is actually incredibly important, and those who have read the manga and mangaka Tatsuki Fujimoto's other works undoubtedly caught this immediately.

But in what further underscores Fujimoto's own personal interests, Fujimoto appears to be a major movie buff or, at least, is intrigued by and aware of the power and effect that film can have on viewers. Two of Fujimoto's other manga works bring more attention to movies. There's not only a scene in Goodbye, Eri where two characters watch and study movies together like Denji and Makima do in Chainsaw Man, but one of them even makes his own movies. Fujimoto's previous manga series Fire Punch also has a prominent character obsessed with movies. Movie theaters - and the act of filming - are clearly important to Fujimoto, so it's not a coincidence that a whole nine seconds of the Chainsaw Man anime's opening song transpires in a movie theater, and it's wonderful.

Although there are plenty of cinematography references throughout the opening sequence, there are others that homage to different mediums, including a reference to mangas Neon Genesis Evangelion and Goodbye Eri. For movie fans, these references stuck out like a sore thumb, and only time will tell what the opening for the season season will be.

The highly-anticipated anime series Chainsaw Man premiered today and before the gore, zombies, and a pact with a devil, the anime starts with an opening sequence packed to the gills with movie references. Chainsaw Man manga creator Tatsuki Fujimoto has made it no secret that he's a film buff and the anime's OP pays homage to that with blink-and-you'll-miss-it recreations of cinematic moments.

The scene in the intersection is reference Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs and there's also a flash of Evangelion in there if you squint hard enough. The clips range from references to The Big Lebowski to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The OP even lets viewers in on it, first showing the references and then cutting to the cast sitting in a movie theater eating popcorn. Here's a breakdown to the references seen in the opening sequence.

Other than its many cinematic inspirations, the opening also includes a reference to a popular metaphoric image showing the difference between ignorance and knowledge, and an homage to the early panels of Fujimoto's other manga, Goodbye, Eri.

The opening sequence was directed and storyboarded by Shingo Yamashita. Yamashita has a long resume of anime opening sequences, including Jujutsu Kaisen, the second opening for Ranking of Kings, and the 13th opening for Naruto Shippden.

"Kick Back" is a song by Japanese musician Kenshi Yonezu. It was released as a single digitally by SME Records on October 12, 2022, as well as in three physical editions: a regular CD edition, a video edition, and a chainsaw edition. The song serves as the opening theme for the anime series Chainsaw Man.[1][2]

This song is used as one of the opening theme for the anime series Chainsaw Man.[3] Yonezu was in charge of the theme song for the TV anime My Hero Academia, the first opening of the second season. It has been about five years since the theme "Peace Sign".

The CD single was released in three formats: a chainsaw board, a video board, and a regular board, and it also came with a "Kenshi Yonezu 2023 Tour / Fantasy" advance lottery application serial number and a corporate privilege sticker.[5][6] 2351a5e196
