I cloned a github repository and made several commits locally. I accidentally made these commits on the master branch when I had intended to make a separate branch for my changes. Is there some way to turn these changes into a new branch and restore the original master branch before I push my changes to the remote?

We are planning to convert an existing Master-Detail relationship to lookup relations. I wanted to know if there will be loss of existing association when the field type is changed from M-D to lookup.

obeject;> master detail field > Edit> now you will not be able to see button "change field type" if there is Roll up summary field on Master objetc so delete it first and also remove it from "deleted fied" trash box then you will be able to see"change field type" button.

You can copy the content of a page to the masterpage. Select the page. Use CTRL-A to copy the content of the page. And then go to the mastertab. Make a new page, and copy with CTRL-V the copied content to the page. .

I would also like to request that something like a drag and drop from page to master or a convert to master be added. It would help immensely when using older designs that need to be modified. Thank you.

Just to add that I was looking for that functionality.. It's user error really (I shoudl have planned ahead better) but teh facility to copy the page and grid/guides to the master section to then apply to other pages is a nice idea (and I was used to it coming from InDesign)

One reason the ability to convert a page to a master would be helpful is guides. You can copy all the elements from a page, but the guides don't copy. Often, a lot of time is spent tweaking guides in real time, so the ability to convert them would help.

If you have an old master that is not longer used and all images have expired or been migrated, then simply re-install NetBackup software on that media server and specify it as a media server- so much easier and cleaner.

As an alternate approach, you can use the MBR2GPT.EXE tool to convert the MBR disk to the GPT partition format. Keep in mind that the tool can be more complicated to use than the diskpart process. For details, see Convert MBR partition to GPT.

I have a large document that I initially set up as a single page document. Things have changed, so I used the document setup dialog to turn it into a facing page document. The only problem is that my master pages are still single pages, and I need them to be spreads. Is there a way to change this?

Thanks for getting back to me. I have seen that post, but that is about starting a document with a spread, rather than a recto page. This problem is entirely to do with master pages. My master pages show up as single pages, rather than spreads, even though my doc is set up as spreads.

Yours,

You can import a facing master page from a document that was started as a facing-page document. Maybe start a new facing-page doc the size of your existing doc, copy the master-page items from your single to the facing doc and save it. Then import the facing master into the single doc with the fly-out of the Pages window (Master Pages>Load Master Pages). If the new doc has the same name for the master page as was in the single doc, you can elect to replace the same-named master in the single with the one from the facing. If you don't want to do that, name the master in the facing to something else.

EDIT: Sorry, I was thinking about how Quark does master pages. It's easier if you just edit your master (select the master and go to Master Options) or make a new master and set the number of pages to 2.

Video Convert Master can burn, convert, split and merge a variety of different video formats. The application supports AVI, MPEG, MPEG 1, MPEG 2, MPEG 4, VCD, DVD, SVCD, RMVB, RM, WMV and any most used video formats.

I am working for a client who used a design team to create a new look, but they created regular slides, instead of master slides. For the basic slides (logo, etc.), I am able to copy/paste to create master slides, but for slides that already have text, is there a way to quickly convert existing text into a placeholder? Same question for pictures (for example round pictures into a placeholder for images).

When I was copy/pasting the existing text into a master slide, then PPT thinks this is a static element, and it is not editable when using that masterslide as the layout.

I have a standalone hardware appliance an hour + away. There's truly no way to convert this to MD without blowing it away and doing it via console? Hmm..would the controller pull DHCP if I blew it away and I could configure it via SSH with admin nopassword? It does do ZTP..I wonder if I could use activate some how..

I have not yet used this converter but I want to know if it leaves any watermarks on the movie, and if so, where in this part the stamp is located, I would appreciate if someone can give me an answer....

Is there a way to convert subclips to new masterclips? There's two reasons for me wanting to do this. Most of what I cut takes sound from a different source than the picture, therefore I'll be working entirely off of the subclips I make from my synching timeline and don't have much use for the original master clips. The problem with subclips is that they do not show up in the media tool (not a huge deal, I can hang on to the subclip bin and open that if I need it later, but getting locked out of the media tool is still a pain), and I have found them to also be more prone to improper relinking when working between multiple drives. The second issue is really the dealbreaker.

I know of no way to convert subclips to masterclips or synch masterclips into new masterclips.. Is it possible? Can master clips track seperate picture and sound sources? Is there a way to prevent subclips from linking to the wrong media when there is duplicate timecode? (I have problems with this on my sound recorder. It seems to be okay with master clips but problematic with subclips)

There's no way to turn Sync Clips into actual master clips, since a master clip cannot contain different metadata for different tracks (V and A). Sync Clips do track different metadata for different tracks.

It would be much better to either relink the master clips (which those subclips relate to) rather than the subclips, or to show/hide one drive(set) from the Avid and have it link automatically to the available media.

For whatever reason the master clips don't have any trouble keeping it straight what links to what, but when the subclip links up it will often get confused and link to the wrong clip when there is shared timecode between two different master clips. That's what made me think if I can make new masterclips from my synched media I might be able to get around the issue, but as it stands, I'm too much at risk of mislinking to feel comftorable working from multiple drives. The main concern I have beyond that is whether things will properly reconnect if I ever lose my primary drive and have to use my backup to finish working.

If there are a few clips with duplicate timecode, you might consider changing the source tape name for one of the conflicting clips. That should prevent the possibility of relinking incorrectly. Rather than creating masterclips from syncclips (which you can't), you could "correct" the duplicate metadata on one of the clips. Simpler and faster, I reckon.

Is there a simple way of doing it or do I have to manually make the Master & Slide views? Based on my research, the answer is NO, but I would like to confirm that before I waste hours to copy and make the whole master.

EX-4200 in a virtual chassis I want to convert to stand alone. I have tried to load factory default through the LCD menu (worked for 3 other switches in same chassis) as well as with CLI commands. NOTHING WORKS. I've changed membership priority and rebooted trying to reassign as master. What am I not doing or doing wrong? I have discovered that cussing the box does not help as much as I thought it would.

I've searched around, but can't find the exact details to point me in the proper direction. I currently have 2 MySQL instances under 5.5.41 running as a master-slave setup. I followed these directions to set it up. Since both of these nodes are on the same VM storage I'd like to migrate one to a different datacenter as a master-master config then use JDBC load balancing where the current master is primary and the slave is converted to a secondary master with replication enabled between both. Can anyone provide the steps I'd need to perform on the MySQL nodes? I believe I now the correct JDBC line to use for my app connection.

I'm trying to learn how HD wallets work internally by writing javascript code that can derive child keys from parent keys. So far, the only thing I've been able to do is convert a BIP39-generated seed to a master key and chain code. I can do that successfully.

Now I would like to convert the master key to an extended key, the long string that starts with xprv. I'd also like to know how to derive child keys from these, and obtain the private key for signing with any of the accounts.

This 78 byte structure can beencoded like other Bitcoin data in Base58, by first adding 32 checksumbits (derived from the double SHA-256 checksum), and then convertingto the Base58 representation. This results in a Base58-encoded stringof up to 112 characters. Because of the choice of the version bytes, the Base58 representation will start with "xprv" or "xpub" on mainnet,"tprv" or "tpub" on testnet. 006ab0faaa
