Hello, I'm using Android, and in the mobile app I can't find the lessons that I'm taking currently on my desktop computer in web browser. For example, in the mobile app I can't find in the 'Intermediate' lessons the 'Make the Most of Your Pieces' chapter or any of these:

They have not implemented the new lesson format into the Android app as of yet. You will only be able to access the "old" lessons. Your best bet is to access the website by using a mobile web browser like Chrome for Android. Then instead of using the app access www.chess.com on your mobile Android device and you will be able to get to the "new" video lessons.

@cartman314 yes we are all aware of that. I have Android and Apple devices so I can see what the difference is between the 2 apps. The iOS app is more up to date in terms of features. I'm not sure what's "lame" about the discussion though. Or are the lessons lame? Or is the app lame?

The new lessons are the default lessons. The new version of the app has them and the site has been rolling out that version, so I would guess most people should have access to it soon; it's version 4.x.x

No it is not very unstable. From time to time you might find a glitch, but so far I don't find it unstable at all. It isn't like it is going to crash on you. I use the Beta website and apps and have few problems. It's the versions obviously that the developers are testing new features, so with the new features one might find issues but on the basic staple site and app commands and sections I have found no issues. Give it a try. If you don't like it you can always opt out and reload the normal app or the normal website. You have nothing to loose by trying beta..

Our Letter Tiles app lets you build words, divide words into syllables, and hear the sounds of the phonograms. Just choose your program from the menu (All About Reading or All About Spelling) and select which lesson number you are currently teaching. The appropriate letter tiles for that lesson will appear, making it easy for you to teach and easy for your student to learn.

Families can use the "family sharing" plan offered by their app store to use the app on more than one device of the same type (for example, all iPads, all Android tablets, or all Amazon tablets). Additionally, if all of your devices are associated with the same ID or the same app store account, you can buy once and install the app on multiple devices.

If you are purchasing for different types of devices, you would need to purchase for each type of device. One app store purchase cannot transfer to another app store. For example, if you purchase for iPad, you will need to purchase again for Android or Amazon Fire.

The easiest thing to do is just to bump up the lesson by 2 lessons (that works all the way until Lesson 48), or to simply choose the final lesson in level 1 if you want all of the level 1 tiles to show up. Here is a more exact correlation between the first edition tiles and the second edition tiles:

Yes you can. The easiest thing to do is just to bump up the lesson by 2 lessons (that works all the way until Lesson 42), or to simply choose the final lesson in level 2 if you want all of the level 2 tiles to show up. For a more exact match, here's a correlation chart:

If both children are using just one of the programs, you'll simply need to select the lesson you want to work on from the dropdown menu and you're ready to go. It's really easy to switch between students.

If you are not satisfied with your app purchase from us we'd like to help! You can contact us for help with using our apps or if you're having trouble getting the app to work on your device. We'll do our best to help you get the most out of our apps. However if you would still like to return the app for a refund, you can follow the following guide for the store you purchased from.

The iTunes Terms and Conditions specifically state that all sales are final. They do make some exceptions. Claims must be made within 90 days. You should hear back from Apple within a week as to whether your request for a refund is approved.

Hello, how difficult would it be to implement [Userscript] Community Mnemonics 2 (WKCM2) into the app? I know it is a niche use among the already niche community, I would be pleased to do the work myself, but I wanted to know the opinion of another person/developer to let me know how doable is this with (few) some programming knowledge.

I think the main difficulty here is that unlike other features that pull outside data into the app, the data used by the community mnemonics can change. This means that if you want it to work offline like the rest of the app, then you would need to find a way to synchronize the data, and either prevent or resolve merging issues. This is not a trivial problem to solve. An easier approach would be to just require an internet connection for the feature, which would probably also be fine as long as nothing crashes when you try to use it without one.

I am fairly certain that is the intended behaviour of the reorder scripts from which this functionality came, and this was copied over to flaming durtles a long time ago. So this is probably more like a feature request than a bug.

The current behaviour is to pick MAX amount for each lesson type as requested in the settings, up to a maximum of total lessons. If that number of lessons is not reached, it is filled with any remaining available lessons.

The PiaBookPlayer app allows owners of supported Kawai digital and hybrid pianos to view the notated scores for various classic lesson pieces, and also listen to each piece playing through the instrument's speakers.

The PiaBookPlayer app categorises music by composer or book, allowing the desired lesson piece or practise drill to be found easily. Once selected, the piece can be listened to using the familiar music player app interface.

Turning the pages of notated scores while playing can be a little challenging with traditional printed scores. However, the PiaBookPlayer app allows hands-free page turning by using the piano's pedals.

* iOS11 or higher device required.

* Android 7.0 or higher device with support for standard MIDI functions (android.media.midi API) required. Please contact the device manufacturer to confirm MIDI support status.

Please ensure that your piano is listed in the Supported models section above.

Please ensure that your piano is using the latest software update, available from the Software Updates page.

Please ensure that Bluetooth MIDI is enabled on your piano, and that Bluetooth is enabled on the app device.

On Android, please ensure that Location and Storage permission are approved when requested by the app.

On Android, it may also be necessary to enable the Location setting in order to connect via Bluetooth.

On iOS12 or later, please ensure that Bluetooth permission is enabled for the app in Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth.

For CA98, CA78, NV10, NV5, ATX3, and AURES instruments, please ensure that 'Sound mode' is selected before attempting to connect the app.

The PiaBookPlayer app requires Location and Storage permissions in order to scan for Bluetooth MIDI devices and to save settings.

Please approve both permission requests to ensure that the PiaBookPlayer app functions correctly. On Android, it may also be necessary to enable the Location setting in order to connect via Bluetooth. This app does not collect, send, or store your location.

If the device is running iOS12 or later, please ensure that Bluetooth permission is enabled for the app in Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth

If the device is running iOS14.2, please update to iOS14.3 which resolves issues related to Bluetooth MIDI connectivity.

Music is one of those things that can catch our attention at a young age and never really let go. Music helps us to define the critical moments in our lives, connects us to emotions and memories, and often is crucial to forming the foundation of who we are as people.
