I wonder to which extent my behavior is typical? Do you use Twitter bookmarks? Is it just me, or you too use bookmarks mostly to release the sense of guilt and FOMO? How often you get back to them to find the information that you need? What is your workflow?

This morning I checked my iPad and I could only see maybe a dozen of bookmarks and no matter how many times I tried to scroll down there was nothing.. I had thousands. Are they gone? Is it still possible to save everything?

Notice: I'm not sure how every other people twitter works, some claims when they delete other bookmarks and the older bookmarks reappeared, it gets deleted afterwards and some claims that when they managed to find the old tweet, it appears that the tweet already got bookmarked.

As I stated above, it would be better if you can just delete older bookmarked tweets, even for reddit, Facebook and Twiter. Of course, you can instead just use google, firefox bookmarks or even just download the video/picture to your computer. However I've found alternative way if you want to really organize twitter bookmarks, you can use google chrome extension called MarkFolder (Also for firefox addons) which saves your bookmarks and you can organize those tweets into an folder, its kinda same as the other extension for reddit where it saves your 1000 reddit posts into google bookmarks.

Hey everyone,I have almost 5000 bookmarks and I want to get all of them, Ive been doing some research and I've found 3 tool Dewey that apparently is the most popular option, and the other 2 are BirdBear and Tweetsmash, can someone tell me their experience with any of these "tools", and if I cant download all my bookmarks?

I use Twitter bookmarks a lot and wanted an easy way to manage them without getting sidetracked scrolling through Twitter. So I created TweetMarks which allows you to easily manage your Twitter Bookmarks.

TL;DR: We built a Chrome extension and a Webapp to manage your existing and new Bookmarks and give you the abilities Twitter should have built from the start. This isn't Readwise where you save using a bot or some other extension. You save your bookmarks using Twitter directly then and these get saved into dewey. at the same time. You can then organize to your heart's content. It's free. It's called dewey.

I didn't want to use readwise or any of the other 3rd-party bots because it becomes yet another platform to manage. I wanted to keep using the built-in bookmarks functionality that Twitter built and then neglected.

dewey. is a chrome extension that grabs all of your bookmarks, gives you the ability to export them to CSV, add notes, organize them into folder, add tags, and share them. Everything is private by default unless you share, in which case we give you a public URL to your collection.

It's also a webapp so you can access your organized bookmarks from any device, even if the extension is not installed. Note, if you want to grab additional bookmarks and add them to dewey. you will need to do that from the extension.

Since Twitter doesn't have an API endpoint for Bookmarks, we had to find a way to grab all of your bookmarks and then incrementally add any new bookmarks you add and without an API, there are certain things you can't do.

It's a problem I noticed recently where, if I remove a post from my bookmarks, it also gets blocked completely and I am not able to see it on the original posters Profile. This happen a couple of times on accident and I would really like to recover the posts. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there any way to recover these tweets?

I was trying to bookmark tweets recently & for some reason it stopped working. I tried clearing out my bookmarks & the problem has persisted. Is this happening to anyone else & does anyone have any information on how to fix this?

Hi guys, I've been seeing this all around Twitter and i just wanted to ask because some people started to tweet screenshots about someone you follow added a tweet to his bookmarks, also there were some fake screenshots. So, does anyone know a thing about this??

Hi - apologies if this is a dumb question but I didn't find anything on the wiki, and galley-dl doesn't seem to do what I want. Basically, I have a lot of tweets bookmarked with media inside them (videos, images, gifs, etc.). I'd like to download all the media from these bookmarked tweets but I haven't found a good solution. I have over 500 bookmarks and extensions like Dewey crap out on me if I try to use them.

I tried googling around and searched on Reddit, but didn't find other solutions other than deleting the places.sqlite which basically removes all my bookmarks and I would have to add all of them back in OR, try verifying my Firefox files which came up with an error:

Hey all, I've been working on a tool that lets you download and search over tweets you've liked or bookmarked on twitter. The idea is that while twitter owns the service, your data is yours so it should be under your own control. To make that happen it saves them into a local database in your browser (wasm powered SQLite) so that you can keep syncing newly liked or bookmarked tweets into it indefinitely going forward and gives you an interface so you can easily search over them.

Right now the focus is on bookmarks and likes, but the plan is to work towards building this into a more general twitter data exfiltration tool to let you locally download tweets from all the accounts you follow (or lists you specify).

dewey. actually grabs your Twitter bookmarks so you can continue using the native functionality Twitter gives you, and then layers search, sort, tags, collections, sharing, and even export (all things that Twitter should have made by default). In fact, dewey. is the only way to actually get use out of your Twitter bookmarks, and by the look of it, there are millions of Twitter users using them over third-party products.

Wanted to see some old twitter bookmarks. but my account is a few years old and i have hundreds of bookmarks which makes it impossible to scroll through. was wondering if there was a tool to help me sort bookmarks to the oldest first. Thanks.

So I have this problem with Bookmarks of Twitter, I think before using Dewey it loaded all of my bookmarks, but after one day of installation it doesn't load every bookmarks I bookmarked. Is there a way to fix or a way to load all of my bookmarks temporily?

Interested in an application or service (preferably free) that will export my existing Twitter Bookmarks to Notion and future bookmarks. I'm not beholden to Notion but would prefer to use that application.

So recently I heard plenty of rumours saying twitter will shut down, and so I decided to secure all my bookmarks. I already have my bookmarks synced in dewey and BirdBear yet I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to access the content after god forbid Twitter is gone.

I recently logged myself out of one of my twitter account. Trying to get back in they asked for my user name& password . I fumbeled a bit because off of the top of my head I could not remember them. I finally got access again, but now all of my bookmarks, messages and replies are gone. It says I have sent no messages and am not following anyone.

Hello, I've recently deleted a tweet from my bookmarks that I really liked and did some research and found that if you remove a tweet from your bookmarks the tweet itself dissapears from the account that made the tweet. Is there any possible way to recuperate the lost tweet and bookmark it again or see a list of past deleted bookmarks? I've done some research and have stumbled onto nothing.

With new Twitter and the Bookmarks feature I've found that you can only remove a limited number of bookmarks and after that limit is reached you can't remove anymore. Clearing your history, ending the browser task completely via task manager, using a different browser, using the Windows app, etc does not correct this.

So I was scrolling recently in the same room as my GF, and I see an image of the latter category, which I bookmark to save for later. My girlfriend sees this, and asks to open Pandora's Box. I, having nothing to hide, let her see my bookmarks--a mixed bag including 40-50 tweets by cosplayers, e-girls, etc. showing off their bits, accrued over about 5 years.

It's just the bookmarks. There's no terabyte-sized porn collection anywhere. This is no crazy addiction. This has no bearing on my relationship other than that she's aware of it and thinks its a dealbreaker.

I have searched the help section. I have scoured the customize pull down menus. I have looked through the bookmark editor ... and found no clear method of removing these pre-installed bookmarks suggestions.

I don't know if I'm alone on this but I use bookmarks to save news stories that I want to read later. I tried to find where I could access my bookmarks but Elon thought it was more important to clutter my sidebar with communities and more stupid twitter blue bullshit. Guys I just want access to my bookmarks again.

The bookmarks tab has disappeared from the desktop version so I can no longer access the bookmarks from there. Nothing has changed in the app. Am I missing something or is anyone else having this problem? Thanks in advance for yor answers!

To remove a saved Bookmark, tap the share icon from the post within your Bookmarks timeline and select Remove post from Bookmarks. You can also tap the more icon at the top of your Bookmarks timeline to remove all of your bookmarks at once.
