Hey so I'm trying to download my vods for video editing but everything I try to use just doesn't work. I've tried downloading it from twitch and it just gets stuck, from Twitch Recover and the file doesn't appear, any ideas on what I can use that will actually work?

i didnt stream for 2 weeks as i was traveling and when i came back i started streaming as usual. ive noticed that my VODS dont show up on my channel, video producer or anywhere. its as if the stream never happened. I still get the email showing my stream summary and stats from my stream, but the actual VODS are no where to be found. Yes I have the 'store broadcast' option on as well as the ' always publish vod' setting turned ON. I haven't found any answers anywhere. My settings all look fine and even my friends cannot see my vods on my channel. I dont know what to do and its so disheartening. I even tried streamlabs obs (as I use obs studio) and even with streamlabs no VOD is posted anywhere. I found a reddit form where someone had a same issue but they said they just had to 'publish' the vod as it was unpublished. But my vod doesnt exist anywhere. I never had this issue before.. Dont know what to do

For almost a month now I have been having issues with VODs on twitch having to buffer every few seconds, and I feel like I've tried everything to resolve the issue, so I'm making this post to see if anyone else has been having this issue.

While I have adblock on edge and chrome, I set adblock to be disabled on twitch's site. Firefox was a fresh install when I decided to start trying other browsers, so it does not have adblock at all, and yet it still runs into the issue, so I don't think adblock is related.

I normally prefer watching vods of streamers over watching them live but I've run into the issue that the streamer I wanted to watch apparently doesn't save twitch vods (and I missed the livestream). Is there any way to access the live or download the vod to watch?

Been trying to keep up with T1's games on vod rewatches because I don't particularly want to sit through an entire series when one or two of the games probably suck or drag on way too much, I just wanna see the fun ones. But as of about 2 weeks ago, the LCK twitch channel appears to have stopped saving vods entirely and eventvods.com isn't even updating for today's matches. Anyone know what's going on?

Is there any difference between exporting a VOD from twitch to youtube and uploading the recorded stream from my pc to youtube? I want to know because it is clearly easier to export the video from twitch.

So I've been trying to post my vods to YouTube in hopes of a little more discoverability to my twitch channel, I make custom tumbnails and do a little bit of editing to them I've been doing it for around 2 months now and they only ever get around 5-10 views with no interactions. I'm just wondering if vods are even worth it on YouTube or is people see the 2-4hr timestamp and just look for something else? I've always heard you want yo make a YouTube to help grow on twitch I'm just also having troubles growing there as well .-.

I have been using OBS baked in closed captions so people can use a button on the video player to turn captions on and off, because I find the twitch plugin thing to be obnoxious. I could swear it used to also save the captions for my VODS, but lately none of my VODS have a captions button. One of my friends noticed the same on his stream. Has anyone else experienced this? They last worked for me about 14 days ago.

Whenever i try to skip to an unloaded part in a twitch vod, it takes forever on 1080p60, compared to for example youtube where it loads pretty much instantly. And it can't even keep up, not even on 720p. Is this normal?

I have my three friends watch my stream but the vod says 40 plus views. If someone clicks on it does that count as a view? It it counting how many clicks it got when I was live even though it may be the same person? 40 seems way to much and I doubt people are watching vods.

So I'm curious to know if this is uncommon, I've tried looking through the threads to find if this question has come up before and haven't seen anything but I am sorry if I missed it. I've been finding that my twitch VOD views have been way higher than live, so I'll stream to 1-3 people and then the next day find that my vod has 10-15 views and I was wondering if this is common, maybe some kind of botting or if there has been some kind of change in twitch that promotes vods more than it did before. I've only noticed this in the past month.

Just wondering how people catch up with everything. Is it possible to catch up with all the streamers you follow if their streams are 6+ hour long? Or do you use Twitch like a TV and just click on whoever you are interested is live and never if rarely you watch vods?

Do you ever watch vods and if so do you watch the entire stream if it's 5+ hours in a vod? I'm not sure how it's even possible to catch up with all the people I follow. If I were to watch a vod of every one of their streams I wouldn't really have the time to do anything in my own life myself.

Oh yeah mate, I have most of the games. So basically what happened was for some reason the twitch vod was damaged for some reason unsure why so I had to screen record his stream, unfortunately I only started recording when the first game starts and ends like halfway through the interviews but I'll stitch it all together and put it out for you guys.

Twitch vods have been buffering for a while now. Just the vods. I can watch the same live stream for hours at 1080p and it never buffers, while the vods buffer all the time, going from 1080p/720p to 160p automatically (and even when it's at 160p it sometimes buffers).

Initially I thought it was because of the length of the vods, then I realized it happens even when they are only 1 or 2 hours long. It happens only from PC, while from smartphone I have no problem. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong?

so I have googled a bit but I didn't found an answer. When I export my Twitch Highlights or broadcasts to youtube it sometimes, but only sometimes, reduces the quality from 720p to 480p. I stream in 720p, all the Highlights and broadcasts on twitch are 720p but when I export them it goes to 480p.

Quite self-explanatory. When i watch a VOD,then close the player and come back to it later, the playback begins from 00:00:00. Until a few days ago twitch used to "remember" where I'd left off, which is extremely convenient since I'm watching long streams in smaller bits.I am certain i did nothing to change the settings. I only found one similar post and it didn't really help much. Soooo, anyone know anything about it ?

i've been using music that i've heard from multiple other streamers is non-copyright, but i've been getting parts of my vods muted for some songs. specifically songs from mxmtoon, lovejoy, and khai dreams, who have said their music is dmca free. i've listened to these people on stream for years and have not been muted until just very recently- did something on twitch change recently or should i appeal these?

Basically title, only 3 total vods from Week 1 day 2 are up with 2 games plus the full VOD missing. Games 1, 3, 5 are up, but 2 and 4 are missing. It makes no sense that if I don't want to sit through delays or have something to do, that I not be able to watch the VOD afterwards when that's been the standard practice for years. Is this just a mistake or how it will work from now on? ff782bc1db
