I as well have this issue. To stream twitch on my TV I have to connect both TV and my PC to the same network, then use Steamlink (free with steam) to broadcast my desktop to the TV in 1080p, then open up twitch.tv in my browser and set it to full-screen. Then I can enjoy full-screen 1080p twitch on my TV, however, I do not think it's 1080p 60 as it is on my PC.
I do not understand why I have the resources to broadcast from my computer to my TV while playing twitch streams on my computer in 1080p60 but the app cannot seem to load 1080p60 on my TV without constant buffering.
I've heard that the network (LAN) port on the TV is only 100 mbit (12.5~Mbit) ethernet, and the WiFi connection is probably 144mbit, but i cannot imagine that twitch is using more bandwidth than 12.5Mbit/s.
This is a conundrum.
I am enjoying my new Q60B 2022 Samsung TV with Game Hub. Playing games feom the TV with streaming has been great. Love my new TV. But the game hub seems incomplete with no Twitch app to watch my favorite streamers. Please bring back #twitch ro Samsung TVs.

I was thinking of a workaround-fix, if you can call that and just seperately open up the twitch-channel in the app browser by the Android user, but how can I add this exception in my code? This is in my MainActivity.java:
Hello, I have a problem with both of my Samsung TV's that both are running Tizen OS. When I try to go and watch some stream on twitch site, just a very very few streams have sound on, on the all others I don't have any sound, It's curious that in some cases 0.0001% sounds works on streams but in those that I'm interested in I don't have sound and also I don't have an option like in a normal browser to set the volume up on down. On the other hand if I enter on YouTube it works like a charm.
If you are like me and use twitch on xbox and androidtv/nvidia shield you would of noticed something odd in the last couple of month. While other versions of twitch got new features and new interface, the androidtv version was left behind.
Well this morning I was going to turn on twitch and it messed up bad and not loading. After clearing data and cache, twitch loaded up with the newer interface. Also after logging in again I noticed they fixed alot of the most annoying bugs and problems from the old version.
