Same issue here! iPhone 15 promax with new IOS 17.1.2 update it freezes when I click a link on chat and after a while it crashes itself and the steam closes while the sound is coming on mini player it is still the same. I open twitch again until I encounter another crash. Also sometimes it happens while just on mini player.

I'm having the same issue. I can't even click to share my subscription message in chat, it's really frustrating. Has been happening for a few weeks now on ipad, updating the app and restarting ipad does nothing.

Hello! I was thinking about streaming. Unfortunately I do not have a pc and no budget to buy it. However I have a decent gaming laptop and an ipad. Is it possible to use ipad for streaming and game on the laptop? And if so, how to set up everything? I'm sorry for my poor wording I'm a bit lost when it comes to computers.

In the ipad ios twitch app it is virtually impossible to show a list of channels I follow. Instead I am shown many recommended channels that I could care less about. Hey heres an idea, let me see a list of channels I do follow, NOT just the ones are currently live. Just let me see a list of the channels I follow. this is ridiculous and how this get by any UAT is beyond me.

I'm using twitch on my ipad and the first 3 times I streamed (art stream), I had zero issues. But now every time I try to stream, I get the same error. "You cannot stream right now" And that's it. No error number or anything.

I also notice that while the screen is off and the device is on, there's a little "twitch" to the screen. Like someone is trying to swipe the clock and the "Swipe to Unlock" button to the side. This could have something to do with the screen being off still, but I figured I'd mention it in case it's a symptom.

Steps to reproduce: Enter Twitch.tv which automatically turns into m.twitch.tv. I then go to the website settings and request desktop website but the website still remains as the mobile version. I have also tried removing the "m." before "twitch.tv" but that does not work. I have not tried the Compatability mode since I could not find that option. Safari applies the desktop website version of Twitch.tv correctly.

Added (after reading keen's answer): For example, if I want to stream from twitch.tv, that's hard because twitch.tv's ipad app doesn't work the majority of the time, so I can't really go directly to the "source". Other times when i'm browsing a site on the computer, and it streams a video. I want to sit on a sofa and watch it. It's inconvenient for me to type in the address on my ipad's browser again to go directly to the source. And this is a small website that hasn't created an app yet.

You're asking the wrong question. You're looking to find a way to play video on your iPad from your computer via RDP. You should be asking how to play the video natively on your ipad. RDP is the wrong tool for the job. ff782bc1db
