Traffic RacerI. IntroductionII. How to Play III. Game Modes IV. Vehicles & Locations V. CashVI. AchievementsVII. Copyright and Legal Info IntroductionWelcome to Traffic Racer! This is a great game for both quick or long-term gaming. Multiple game modes offer great variety, as well as depth. Traffic Racer is a driving game where you take control of a single car and weave your way in and out of traffic. The closer you get to cars (without hitting them) nets you points. The developers of this game often put out new updates, usually including cars. This is great because it means this game will continue to grow, rather than become stale after a while.Hopefully this document will help you understand this game better, as well as help you figure out the best way to earn what you want. Have fun, and Good Luck! How to PlayThis game is a very simple game to play, but takes quite a bit of skill to get good at. Once you start the game you are given a truck for free. Once you select your vehicle and advance to the next screen, you can select the Game Mode. All game modes are available at the time of install. After the chosen Game Mode, you now select your location. There are two locations given for free, and two you have to purchase with in-game cash. Now that the location is seleced, your game will start!Initially this game will start off with tilt controls. Tilting in the direction you want to go. Titling forward will make you accel, tilting back will make you stop, etc. However this game also offers on-screen keys as well. Use this option!! It makes it so much easier when going for Time Trials.Controls & OptionsIn order to change the controls, use the 'Options' area on the main title page. You can alter the following between Touch Controls, and Tilt Controls, and Analog Stick.SteeringTilt - On by default. Tilting left turns you left, tilting right turns you right.Touch - Offers an arrow in the bottom of each corner. Tapping or holding will turn you in the direction.Analog - Once you tap the screen, a joystick appears. You can drag your thumb left or right to turn.AccelerationYou can have this Manual or Auto. Manual will cause you to have to tap / hold your thumb down on the screen to go. Auto will cause your car to start and go, and continue to go constantly. All you have to do is steer and brake. This is great for Time Trials.GFX QualityNormal - This is the game default.High - May cause low performance on some devices.ScoringYou are scored on five different aspects of your race:Total Distance - Basically $.012 for every .01KM raced. Close Overtakes - $10 per overtake.Keep Above 100 KMH - Basically $.10 for every .20KM raced.Opposite Direction -  Basically $9 for every 1.0 (no interger mentioned) .Now that you know the basic concept of the game, good luck!Game ModesThere are currently four different game modes offered in Traffic Racer. These games modes vary extremely, so this will help you understand each one. In addition to these four modes, you will also be given a Daily Bonus which can be found in this same area. The Game Modes section will also show your high score for each mode, if it is able to hold a high score. Some modes do not allow high scores, so these will appear as N/A. You will earn Cash in all game modes with the exception of Free Ride which is basically a Practice Mode. You can play each game mode on all four levels (if you have them purchases). The details for each game mode are listed below.Endless One-WayThis game mode allows you to go in one direction for an infinate amount of time until you crash. This mode does not offer any oncoming traffic, it is strictly one-way as mentioned. Traffic will get heavier as you progress in distance.Endless Two-WayUnlike it's counter-part, one-way, you will have traffic in this game mode. That is good, and bad. It's good because you can now get additional points for driving in the opposite lanes. This is the only game mode you get these extra points in. Your points will start accumilating as soon as you reach 100KMH. You will have two lanes in each direction. When the game starts, you will have a distance of at least .10km before you start to see oncoming traffic. Time TrialThis game mode is timed for 90 seconds. You are given a one-way direction (four lanes) to obtain as many close calls as possible. If you crash, you regenerate and keep going until the time is over. This game mode is by far the easiest to obtain the most amount of points in a quick manner. The best part is that it only takes 90 seconds and you can obtain 1,000+ points.Free RideThis game mode is pretty much a practice mode. You do not have any traffic oncoming, and you can alter the traffic going with you. It will be just you and the road. Or it can be as dense as the freeway. When you select this mode, you will be presented with a Traffic Density meter. Drag the percent down or up in accordinance with what you want. Remember, you get no points for this mode so making it more difficult will not net you points. This is just for practice. No High Scores are logged for this game mode.Daily BonusYou can obtain this Game Mode twice everyday (every 12 hours). The timer starts as soon as you finish your race. Keep this in mind so you can try to get this two times a day, at optimal hours. For example, first bonus at 8-10am, second bonus at 8-10pm. This game mode will start you off playing as the ambulance. Turning on the siren will move traffic away from you. However, this can help or make it more difficult as they will could possible turn into you, in an attempt to avoid you. Yes, this happens often.. This game mode is exactly like the Time Trial, with the exception of the payout. You will have 90 seconds to get as many Close Calls as possible. Every Close Call will net you $100 Cash. Ohh yea, it's a lot. This adds up if you have good timing and can net quite a few Close Calls in a row, resulting in combo's. This game mode does not keep a High Score logged.Vehicles & LocationsVehiclesThere are currently 24 different cars you can purchase in this game. Below is a list of the cars, in order that they appear in the game. Some cars have a little note next to them for the vehicle they may resemble. Each car here looks like a real car, I'm just not a 'car guy' so I don't know all the makes and models. In the list below you will find all three upgrade abilities for the cars, as well as what you can obtain through each upgrade level. These do change during updates if they see one car not being strong enough, or one car being too strong. However there hasn't been an update for this in a while. You can use these cars on any location, aside from the Daily Bonus.Car #1 - Chevy S10 (FREE)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 25 30 35 Handling 15 20 25 Braking 15 20 25 Car #2 - ($2,500)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 30 35 40 Handling 20 25 30 Braking 15 20 25 Car #3  ($4,500)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 30 35 40 Handling 20 25 30 Braking 20 25 30 Car #4 - VW Golf ($7,500)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 35 40 45 Handling 25 30 35 Braking 25 30 35 Car #5 - Honda Civic, hatchback ($10,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 35 40 45 Handling 30 35 40 Braking 35 40 45 Car #6 ($12,500)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 35 40 45 Handling 35 40 45 Braking 40 45 50 Car #7 ($15,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 40 45 50 Handling 35 40 45 Braking 40 45 50 Car #8 - Nissan 240 ($20,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 45 50 55 Handling 35 40 45 Braking 50 55 65 Car #9 ($27,500)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 45 50 55 Handling 40 45 50 Braking 50 55 60 Car #10 - Honda S2000 ($30,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 50 55 60 Handling 45 50 55 Braking 60 65 70 Car #11 ($32,500)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 50 55 60 Handling 50 55 60 Braking 55 60 - Car #12 - Subaru WRX ($35,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 50 55 60 Handling 50 55 60 Braking 55 60 65 Car #13 ($37,500)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 50 55 60 Handling 55 60 65 Braking 55 60 65 Car #14 ($45,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 55 60 65 Handling 55 60 65 Braking 55 60 65 Car #15 - Toyota Supra ($60,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 60 65 70 Handling 50 60 65 Braking 60 65 70 Car#16 - Nissan Skyline ($80,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 65 70 75 Handling 55 60 65 Braking 60 65 70 Car #17 - Mercedes ($90,000 )Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 70 75 80 Handling 55 60 65 Braking 65 70 75 Car #18 - Semi ($95,000)This vehicle will give you 1 Extra Life in Endless ModeUpgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 35 40 45 Handling 35 40 45 Braking 40 45 55 Car #19 - Camaro ($100,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 70 75 80 Handling 55 60 65 Braking 70 75 80 Car #20 ($110,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 70 75 80 Handling 60 65 70 Braking 70 75 80 Car #21 ($145,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 75 80 85 Handling 60 65 70 Braking 70 75 80 Car #22 - Newer Camaro ($150,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 80 85 90 Handling 55 65 75 Braking 75 85 90 Car #23 - Range Rover ($175,000)This vehicle will give you 1 Extra Life in Endless ModeUpgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 45 50 55 Handling 55 60 65 Braking 55 60 65 Car #24 ($200,000)Upgrade Type Default Upgrade 1 Upgrade 2 Speed 80 90 95 Handling 65 70 75 Braking 75 85 90 LocationsThere are four locations in this game.
