In the film, Isla (Toyin Abraham) continues to see more ghosts than before and has evolved into a messenger for the dead. She now also has a partner Makawhy (Mercy Johnson-Okojie). Isla is sought for by any ghost who has been unfairly killed or who has a score to settle with the living. She eventually encounters Amoke (Osas Ighodaro), a "semi-ghost"; a woman who is in a coma and caught between the worlds of the living and the dead. Finding the person who poisoned her and attempting to awaken her from her unconscious state is isla's main mission, because Amoke only has a few days to live.[5]

The plot of the film revolves around a young woman from the ghetto who is called Isila (Toyin Abraham). She encounters a ghost called Mike (Sambasa Nzeribe), who is in need of her assistance to communicate with the people he left behind. At the ghost's request, she becomes tangled and puzzled in solving a murder mystery and her life takes an interesting turn. Only she knows and understands what would happen in the future.[5]

As the cases become more serious, she starts to want to use her gift for the better, as she looks to help a woman in a coma. She is a character that people look at as a crazy person because she is often seen talking to herself.

The story follows a woman that can communicate with ghosts and along with her best friend, they start a business. While it starts as more of a con to get money, turns into a private investigator side of things when they are visited by a spirit between worlds.

The Ghost and the Tout Too is a comedy fantasy movie. There are plenty of laughs between the characters and the reactions to everything that is going on. The fantasy side of the film comes from the ghosts Visiting Isla and how she needs to figure out how to help them. Having a mystery involved helps because each ghost has a different reason for seeing Isla.

Au lieu d'un final qui tombe comme un cheveu sur la soupe, Zwigoff et Clowes trouvent mme une solution la fois logique et potique au dilemme de leur hrone, dsormais seule mais mieux arme face la vie. Ghost World en devient une sorte de manifeste de ce cinma amricain indpendant parfois dcevant mais un peu vite rang au placard par les distributeurs.
