Radiate Worshipemanate from a church in Bergen, Norway called Pinsekirken TabernakletUngdom, which roughly translated is Pentecostal Church Tabernacle. In2009, the youth group musicians released their first album under thename Radiate and two years later a second, 'You Alone'. Said Martin,"The first style we did was kind of Hillsongy with a lot of rock. Wetranscended into a more EDM-style synthy pop. With this record, 'ComeAlive', we're heading back to where we started with rock tones andmore punch."

"We took the apartment off the market for 30 days, and put it back onthe market for one last showing. Right before the showing my grandmatold me (and she can really hear God's voice) that one guy would comeand he was going to buy the place. The day before the last showing -this happened. One guy came and asked to see the apartment, and hebought the place for a price we couldn't even imagine. Right at thesame time I was given a new job that made it possible to do Radiate Worship aswell. Out from this the song 'Trust' was born and from this, Dreamcontacted us. We are so humbled to see how God has been working whenwe really trusted fully in him!"

What, I asked Martin, did he feel were 'Come Alive''s strongesttracks? He responded, "Most of the songs are really strong, but Imight say 'Constant' is one of my favourites. It's really great how weended up with that song. We went into the studio and something was notright. We had to change a few parts of the song. When we recorded thevocals, it didn't really fit. We had to re-write the whole song withour fantastic producer, David O Ramirez, from Nashville. It talksabout how constant God is throughout life. David is a great producer. We sent all of our stuff over to him - our memos and our demos. Helistened through them and used the best in the songs, and he got allwe wanted to get out through the songs. He refurbished a little bit.The vision and the central ideas of the songs are still there. It wasnot a completely new track when we got back his roughs."

Recording the project was not without its challenges. ExplainedMartin, "Because he lives in Nashville and we live in Bergen, andthere's a time difference of seven hours, we had specific times duringthe day Facetiming when we talked about each song. When he came overfrom Nashville, the songs were done; it was just for us to recordthem."

A pivotal change in Radiate Worship's approach came when thegroup issued an independent EP, 'Released'. There was adubstep-sounding track on that project, "Colours", and dance musiccontinues to be one of the elements in Radiate's sound. In fact, to myclub music orientated tastes, one of the strongest tracks on 'ComeAlive' is the song "Lionhearted", released as a single in 2018, whichsounds like a worship floor-filler.

In the here and now, it is easy for me to see that radiating Christ would have a far greater impact than anything I have been able to do on my own. And sometimes, for a bit, it seems to happen. For a moment, it is all about Jesus.

Can you imagine this happening? Imagine that you turned to the person next to you and their skin started to glow? Or imagine that every time you came to church, or read your Bible during your morning devotions, you had such a profound and transformational encounter with God that it made your face radiate light!

With all the additional moving parts that come with planning a worship service, we want you to have the peace of mind to know that your team is going to show up, fully prepared knowing every part for each of the songs on your set.

A skilled and talented Blues aficionado, Adrena started singing at the age of 5 in a southern Baptist church is a small town in Jackson, Mississippi. Within the walls of that quaint setting, Lady Adrena discovered a passion and burning love for the art of the Blues. After being in church and school choirs and being a percussionist in bands, she cultivated her talent.

There was an opening choral piece, distorted notes laboring from the black box. After the song, Eugene stepped to the pulpit. He cleared his throat and fumbled with his Bible. I turned up the volume. Eugene took his precious time. Then slowly, deliberately, in his distinctive calm, gravelly voice, he said three words: Let us worship.

The story goes on to share how the song kept appearing throughout the years in different places, how the creators of it disappeared from knowledge for a while, how it eventually made its way to America to be translated into English, and has now become a Christmas carol nearly the whole world sings during the holiday.

I do have one minor issue with the book that I cannot quite get over: the text talks of six verses that Joseph Mohr composed and yet the sheet music included at the end only has three. I found it annoying, as I tend to pick up on those details, and I wish there had been a note or something about the English translation only being three verses which were altered to rhyme. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, I did find a version of the original German song with six verses and their literal English translation. I will close this review for today with my favorite, verse two:

And what is beauty but Christ himself? Our beauty and the beauty we see and experience around us is but a whisper, radiating from the face of Christ and his glory realm. What a horrible charade of a church that has missed Christ and failed to point thousands of others to beauty. All I could think about was the Song of Songs, where we have the words of Christ to his beloved, over and over and over, calling her beautiful. Where we have the words of the woman dominating the Song, reciprocating this praise and seeking out beauty. The beckoning between the two is all over the pages, sweeping us up in it with all our senses. And he tells her:

Dr. Valerie Hobbs and I have something in common. We both bear wounds from the church. Wounds that are healing, scarring, bearing a testimony. Wounds that we are not going to cover in shame. We will look at them and allow them to speak, help us mourn the violence done to us, help to even reveal our hope. Because hope will not deny our wounds of their pain. Hope will agonize the loss of goodness, groaning for glory. Valerie and I have become friends through our shared groaning and hope. So I will use her first name.

Mamii is a 19-year-old singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Hammond, Indiana. Hailing from a musical family, Mamii grew up singing and playing instruments in church and at home, and these experiences continue to shape her writing process. Both natural and otherworldly, her music is a juxtaposition of acoustic and electronic soundscapes that detail her coming-of-age in the Midwest and her experience waking up spiritually into an uncertain future.

The Chicago-bred songstress just released her debut EP Black Phoeniix, releasing. Her music is soulful, playful, honest and ethereal and brings to mind the early days of Frank Ocean but with a style that is all her own. The EP features artwork and creative direction from Mihailo Andic (Summer Walker, Drake, Lil Yachty) and executive production from 1Mind (Juice Wrld, Swae Lee, French Montana, NBA Youngboy).

That natural problem, he said, was exacerbated in the post-Vatican II period by a tendency to install speakers in churches that emit sound simultaneously from a variety of different points, which, he said, means that the acoustical centrality of the altar becomes lost.

As a result, Carbone said he designed a system in which sound is not projected from all the speakers inside the basilica simultaneously, but passes through roughly 80 speakers with millisecond delays regulated by digital technology, creating the impression of sound originating at the altar and then spreading out through the church.

For me this is more than a praise party because this praise and worship songs that was rendered by the Nigerian Christian music minister bidemi olaoba is a top-notch sound of worship during the radiation church 4th anniversary celebration service.

Lenny Duncan is the unlikeliest of pastors. Formerly incarcerated, he is now a black preacher in the whitest denomination in the United States: the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Shifting demographics and shrinking congregations make all the headlines, but Duncan sees something else at work--drawing a direct line between the church's lack of diversity and the church's lack of vitality. The problems the ELCA faces are theological, not sociological. But so are the answers.

Part manifesto, part confession, and all love letter, Dear Church offers a bold new vision for the future of Duncan's denomination and the broader mainline Christian community of faith. Dear Church rejects the narrative of church decline and calls everyone--leaders and laity alike--to the front lines of the church's renewal through racial equality and justice.

It is time for the church to rise up, dust itself off, and take on forces of this world that act against God: whiteness, misogyny, nationalism, homophobia, and economic injustice. Duncan gives a blueprint for the way forward and urges us to follow in the revolutionary path of Jesus.

"Marrying stunning, reverberant personal stories with little-known Lutheran history, Duncan makes readers laugh out loud in grim recognition. His critiques of our beloved church strike a tender spot in the heart, not because they are harsh, but because they are true. I pray we will engage in truth-telling with the same rigor Duncan does, because only truth will open the path to justice."

Toyosi Kalejaye is a Nigerian Gospel artiste, songwriter, composer and poet who is best known for praising God in a unique and special way. According to him, his songs and poems are divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit.

According to tradition, the Virgin appeared to an Aztec farmer named Juan Diego and instructed him to ask the bishop to build a church at the site. However, the bishop balked at the request, requiring proof. When Diego returned to the site, he noticed roses growing there, unusual for that time of year. 17dc91bb1f
