The Ghost and the Tout also known as Ghost and the Tout is a 2018 Nigerian ghost film, written and directed by Charles Uwagbai. The film stars Sambasa Nzeribe, Toyin Abraham, Rachael Okonkwo and Omowumi Dada in the lead roles. The film had its theatrical release in Nigeria on 11 May 2018 and received positive reviews from the critics.[2][3]
The plot of the film revolves around a young woman from the ghetto who is called Isila (Toyin Abraham). She encounters a ghost called Mike (Sambasa Nzeribe), who is in need of her assistance to communicate with the people he left behind. At the ghost's request, she becomes tangled and puzzled in solving a murder mystery and her life takes an interesting turn. Only she knows and understands what would happen in the future.[5]

In the film, Isla (Toyin Abraham) continues to see more ghosts than before and has evolved into a messenger for the dead. She now also has a partner Makawhy (Mercy Johnson-Okojie). Isla is sought for by any ghost who has been unfairly killed or who has a score to settle with the living. She eventually encounters Amoke (Osas Ighodaro), a "semi-ghost"; a woman who is in a coma and caught between the worlds of the living and the dead. Finding the person who poisoned her and attempting to awaken her from her unconscious state is isla's main mission, because Amoke only has a few days to live.[5]

According to information from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the number of ghost guns - or privately made firearms - is going up every year. Ghost guns are also tied to 325 homicides or attempted homicides nationwide since 2016.
The advocacy group Gun Violence Prevention Inc., or G-PAC, said a previous bill against ghost guns was got stuck in the Assignments Committee of the state Senate and did not advance before the deadline.

When her friend finds out, they use it as a chance to make money, something she is happy to play along with. As the cases become more serious, she starts to want to use her gift for the better, as she looks to help a woman in a coma. She is a character that people look at as a crazy person because she is often seen talking to herself.
The story follows a woman that can communicate with ghosts and along with her best friend, they start a business. While it starts as more of a con to get money, turns into a private investigator side of things when they are visited by a spirit between worlds.
