The IP address displayed under settings->network is the WAN IP address. This is the address Telstra is assigning you. You need to ask Telstra to provision telstra.extranet on your account. Once that is done you then need to create an APN profile under Other->Cellular with telstra.extranet APN. You may want to check this.

I have tried all the suggestions including working the settings via the app on my smart phone. The green flashing light goes out for a minute or so and then comes back on. Since the Roku3 works using the smart phone app as the remote, I know it is the remote that is the problem and not the Roku box itself. New remote costs almost as much as a new box so not worth the purchase.

If you are experiencing issues connecting your remote to your Roku Streaming Stick device, we would recommend checking out the troubleshooting steps provided by our Support pages here:

How do I set up my Roku enhanced "point-anywhere" remote?

How do I resolve problems with my Roku enhanced "point-anywhere" remote?

Happened to me today. I did not read one suggestion anywhere that fixed the problem. So I problem solved on my own. This worked. I downloaded the roku remote app on my phone. Went into settings on the roku. Then to remotes. Then asked to set up a new remote. Hit "pair " on roku, pressed the button on the remote next to the flashing light. It works now!!! Hope this helps someone.

The mining industry is experiencing an exciting transformation. New digital technologies and applications offer enormous opportunities to dramatically improve performance across all mining functions, while unlocking new avenues to improve your return on investment. However, the move toward automation and the useof real-time data and cloud-based services can be challenging. By their nature, mines are highly dispersed, remote locations and often lack access to traditional terrestrial network connectivity. That can have enormous impacts, since connectivity is critical to successful mining, from initial site evaluation to processing and equipment maintenance, employee safety and welfare, and transportation and manufacturing.

Newcrest Mining, one of the world's largest gold mining companies with operating mines in Australia, Canada and Papua New Guinea (PNG), faced such limited connectivity challenges in its remote operations in Lihir Island, PNG. After both microwave and submarine fibre optic cables were deemed unviable at Lihir, Newcrest had to look beyond conventional means for better connectivity to drive its business-critical applications and enable the use of digital technologies.

I have been remotely connecting to cameras at my parents house and vice versa for a couple of years now. I opted out of cg-nat for the ISP at each house and all works fine. Could never connect over the mobile network though (Telstra Australia).

I am overseas now but cannot access the cameras from any public WiFi.

Could the reason be that it is a cg- nat issue at the source end (my end using the Reolink client). If so, maybe IPv6 is an only possible solution if Reolink would support it in the future?

I also have the GO product in a caravan and use a similar setup with a panel (non MIMO) antenna up a pole. A lot of my camping is in remote areas where there is one bar of the 4G 700 frequecy dropping in and out. Using the GO to boost the signal has resulted in data speed increasing generally from 1mbps up to 30+mbps. Bars generally go from 1 to at least 3, which seems to be my sweet spot for that boost in data speeds.

Grass Valley enables IP communication directly between cameras and XCU eXchangeable control units, or base stations. According to Grass Valley, this Tokyo-to-London link, on a Telstra Optical Transport Network (OTN) based Ethernet service between Japan and London, forms the longest, true remote IP production connection to date.

Telstra has signed an agreement to become the first telco in the world to use Starlink low-earth-orbit Satellites for voice-only services while at the same time offering Starlink Broadband to regional and remote Australia.

Telstra Programmable Network could be the answer for organisations who need to quickly provide private network access to an increased number of remote workers. It is designed to deliver secure, flexible and on-demand connectivity and could be the ideal solution for an organisation to quickly provide connectivity and scale bandwidth to support a remote workforce, says MobileCorp solution architect, Peter Pouw.

Many Australian businesses already had remote working access in place prior to COVID-19, with either a VPN or through Office 365, but the planning scenario was unlikely to envisage an entire 'at home' workforce, says Pouw.

"Many IT teams have remote access mechanisms in place but they have never had to scale bandwidth to cope with all their employees working remotely. There is also the matter of security to consider, the budget implications, and the capacity of in-house IT resource.

"The cost of preparing a custom network is only in the licensing of any virtual equipment required and in preparations to connect remote users. MobileCorp has a professional service which will design the network architecture, set up virtual appliances, procure the licensing, and connect remote users.

According to the operator, it will invest AUD150 million (USD116 million) over the next year to improve networks in regional, rural and remote Australia, to: boost coverage at popular destination spots; fund capacity upgrades; ensure that 3G-only sites have access to 4G; build new 4G sites; and develop technology for long-range sites with small cells and satellite backhaul.

Communications Minister Helen Coonan Tuesday blasted the draft of Telstra's Local Presence Plan as lacking specifics about service levels and planned activities in remote areas once the company is privatized.

Telstra has inked a $30 million, three year infrastructure co-investment deal with the Northern Territory Government to help deliver better mobile and broadband services to remote locations throughout the Territory.

Accessed via Telstra Global's Secure IP VPN, the VCC software can be updated or changed within minutes to update campaign scripts, add agents to different campaigns, or activate remote agents. It also offers real-time CRM integration to direct customer calls to the right operator regardless of the contact channel used.

Boosting connectivity is vital as workforces become more distributed with remote working and as demand for online education, high-definition entertainment and online gaming grows. For Microsoft, more bandwidth and reduced latency will help provide the best possible experiences for customers connecting on Microsoft Teams, businesses that rely on the cloud, and its Xbox community.

The main proponent of opening up Telstra's networks to rivals is Vodafone, which claims Telstra is being anti-competitive in not allowing it to resell its network in remote areas. Telstra, meanwhile, asserts that rivals shouldn't be able to piggy back on its investments, and that declaring would remove any incentive for further infrastructure development in regional areas. 2351a5e196
