While trying to install BaseKit 2022.1.2.154, the installer crashes. Setup file is w_BaseKit_p_2022.1.2.154_offline.exe. Was expecting something smooth as CVF install or install similar to parallel studio, however was intimidated by the serious number of products and prerequisites.

Thanks for the help. I have tried installing the offline installer on a connected machine and i am getting the same error. I extracted the Visual studio installer and looked into extension.vsixmanifest file. Under , i see only Community edition. Could that be the issue? Should we add Enterprise here? will it help? Please check.

Hey guys, I'm just starting down the path of creating tools for arcgis pro. I gotta say, I really miss the python addin days. My question is, is there any other way to create a pro tool without using visual studio (not using script tool)? Lastly, a lot of people are recommending using the community(free) version of visual studio. However, I'm having a hard time justifying the legal use for our organization due to the terms and conditions. I pasted a screenshot of the quick terms and conditions. You can find the full terms and conditions here. We plan on only using VS to create in-house tools and scripts. The only way I can justify it, is if we make all our code open source. Maybe someone can better explain how the community license can legally be used for this purpose. I have a feeling many people are not using it according to the terms and conditions.
