you could use the shift-parameters of the camera. If the active camera resolution in x- an y- direction is the same, you could use e.g. 4 duplicated cameras with shiftparameters going through -0.5, -0.5; 0.5, -0.5; 0.5, -0.5 and 0.5, 0.5 . The shift parameters are located at the camera-tab in the prperties pane.
I wish you could look at at multiple cameras at once inside the app instead of having to go back and select each camera because I use it on my iPad which is large enough to project multiple screens It could be a setting that you turn on and off but would prove extremely useful. I would love to see this in because I know I will use it every day. Thank you !
We have had some recent problems with 4mp varifocals, and now a 3MP PTZ displaying a split and/or "rolling" screens. Does anyone have similar experience with this? Our initial installations went well, everything displaying properly for a month-3 months and then we get the call that the customer is getting a split screen on one camera. The bottom half of the VMS image is often displaying on 1/4 of the top of the view.
I saw something similar once before where I had a VMS UI open for weeks. It was running fine and then one day I noticed the camera images were corrupted in a way similar to what you described - they were "split", but they weren't rolling, so may not be the same thing. In this case however, I do not believe it had anything to do with the cameras, and I put it down to a video card driver bug on the client machine. I restarted the computer running the UI and the problem went away.
1) Next time it happens, log on to the camera via the camera web interface at the same resolution and fps as the stream the VMS uses to connect to that camera if possible, and see if the problem exists on the live page of the web interface. If so it is most likely a camera problem, if not, it still might be caused by the camera or the VMS side.
3) Does the stream from a particular camera always display "split" on all client workstations displaying that camera, or does the same camera play broken on some but no others? If the same camera displays OK on some, but not others, then it also tends to suggest the VMS side.
We have tested individually the camera and the herelink and there is no issue.
Camera directly connected to a screen works fine.
Herelink connected to a computer streaming youtube video works fine.
The camera starts when i plug the drone main battery. The herelink can be already turned on or not, it works in most of the tests i made. The only thing i noted is that sometimes the image freeze, so i simply unplug and plug back the HDMI cable and it comes back to live video

I got my Firefly 4K today and I am trying to make it work with herelink. I have tried to change the mode but my camera does not have 1080 30 fps, it only has 1080 60 fps. Maybe I am changing the video mode and not the HDMI output mode??
To takeover sprites( and baseSprite including Renderable) and prevent them from drawing in 2d mode, I removed them from the currentScene, once they are created. So nothing will be drawing when calling game.currentScene().render() with realScreen and realCamera, and the same result with fakeScreen and fakeCamera. What we got is rendered by raycasting ext., and a black strip drawn by split screen ext.

This raycasting ext. is drawing directly to the screen, and not considered split screen when designing. So it is not compatible with split screen mode yet. And I am not think I will fix this, cause:
The Runcam Split 4 is an HD camera, but it can be used as an FPV camera at the same time. The averaged latency according to Runcam is 55ms, slightly higher than dedicated FPV cameras, but low enough to be flyable.

If an app using the iOS SDK is in Split View on the iPad, calling MobileRTCMeetingService.muteMyVideo returns success but does not start camera. Both the camera preview does not show anything and nothing is transmitted to other users in the meeting. This functionality works in the Zoom iOS app.
I am seeing a similar behavior. It looks like the video freezes when splitview begins in the default UI. Pressing the start/stop video button does not seem to be working in splitview, but does work in the Zoom app. I will submit a bug report for this.
Splitscreen is kind of limited. I want the flexibility the cameras in Unity3D have with rendering depth only and having different rendering layers as well as choosing which objects are shown through the object layer. (Two different types of layers)

Some kind of problem with my iPhone 13. The camera doesn't work in different apps (like Tiktok and Google Lens). It says "Camera is not available. To enable the camera, exit Split View mode" - something like that. I didn't turn this mode on and I don't know how to turn it off now. Please help me. Thank you

On the EOS M APS-C mirrorless cameras, the Powershot team was involved in development and design. It seems like on the EOS R there has been some merging of the Powershot and DSLR design teams as well, and I fail to see how it benefits the EOS R.
The camera ships with the touch-bar showing an error message. Just to even enable 4K on the record button in stills mode, you have to know how to dive into the menus and register the custom mode settings and so on. Then you learn of the weird quirks as well along the way like I detailed above, before realising this is NOT your typical well-sorted Canon out of the box like their DSLRs. I guess their new recruits are learning on the job. Personally, I could have done a better job of the ergonomics with my arms folded.
A slow trickle out of slightly evolved and slightly more current models are more likely. What they did with this camera, more than anything else, was establish a new mount, a new system and new lenses that were only possible to do with a short flange.
If you're willing to use manual focus, the newer Panasonic G series cameras - GX85, G85 - record 4k video with no file size limit or time limit other than the size of the card. The older G7 splits files in 4 Gb chunks, and has a 29 minute limit on continuous video shooting.
Generally, cameras format SD-XC cards (64GB and higher) using exFat, and SD-HC or SD cards as FAT32. The exFat filesystem does not have the limitation that individual files must be 4GB or less. Of course it depends on your camera, whether it splits the files even when it is writing to a SD-XC card.
I believe my Panasonic G85 will NOT split 4K video files when you use an exFAT filesystem, but it will split 1080p files at the 4GB boundary. I don't shoot 4K video, and I have shot some 1080p video longer than 30 minutes, and it was split at the 4G boundary.
I've been thinking about getting the new Panasonic video cameras (HC-V800 or HC-VX1), and I noticed in their manual that the HC-VX1 will record up to about 3 hours in 4K mode, and both cameras will record 3 hours of 1080p at 50fps. Other video sizes like 1080p at 24/30fps will be split at 30 minutes or 4 gigabytes. ff782bc1db
