i have starwars battlefront 2 from the epics games store, and mods dont work anymore for some reason, i dont want to buy it on the epic games store and not be able to use mods. if anyone has the game and steam and plays the game with mods, please just tell me mods work on steam

Mods for Spider-Man are in the .smpcmod filetype, and requires the SMPC Tool to install. There are currently two mod managers that you can use, one being the SMPC Tool itself, the other being Vortex which relies on the SMPC Tool to apply the mods, but will show you when there are file conflicts, and allows for the Vortex mod downloading. Vortex requires a SMPC patch, which you can find below.

One mod manager you can use is Vortex, the official mod manager from Nexus Mods. You can download Vortex here. Once Vortex has installed, simply locate Spider-Man remastered in the "Games" section and click on the tile to start modding it. You will need to download the extension, if Vortex doesn't do this automatically install the extension from here.

Vortex will start by guiding you through the installation of SMPC Modding Tool, which is used on the "back end" to apply and remove mods. The tool is run automatically when you add/remove mods from the Vortex.

You will then be able to add any mods from the Nexus Mods website using the "Vortex" button in the top-right of any mod page. Alternatively you can drag and drop files into the Mods section to install manually.

Mod load order is also important, and will determine which assets are loaded first/last. The mods at the top of the list are loaded first, and will be overridden by any mods afterward. So, if you have a mod that changes the mask and the gloves on the advanced suit, and then install another mod after that one that just changes the gloves, the mask from the first mod will appear, and the gloves from the second mod will appear. This is useful for mods that include add-ons, such as optional variant textures.

The game and subsequent remaster for PlayStation 5 were developed by Insomniac Games, while the PC version is being developed by Nixxes Software and published by PlayStation PC. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is the first traditional Spider-Man game to release on PC since The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014. The PC version improves in a variety of aspects compared to the PlayStation 5 release, including improved shadows, improved ray traced reflections (full resolution instead of half resolution, and more objects can be included in the ray traced reflections), FoV slider, HBAO+, FSR 2.1, XeSS, DLSS 2, DLSS Frame Generation, DLAA, ultrawide screen support, improved texture filtering and an unlocked frame rate.[1]

It's taken mere days since the release of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on PC for players to crack open the game and noodle with its insides. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered might have launched only a few days ago on PC, but there are already plenty of mods available. We already covered an initial RTGI mod, but Giulio Guglielmi (also known as MassiHancer) has now posted a more extensive graphics enhancement preset that really goes a step further, thanks to ray traced global illumination. Most of us by now know the story of how Spider-Man came to be. American teenager Peter Parker got bit by a radioactive spider that granted him the abilities of a spider. Although he is reluctant to do crime fighting, opting to appear on TV instead of in the streets, the murder of his uncle, Ben Parker, convinced him to use his powers for good, per the Encyclopaedia Britannica.

Unfortunately, running the two mods together is impossible as both mods replace Spider-Man's classic suit (Repaired). As such, you'll have to choose which gravestone you want to play during the duration of your game time.

You can take on the role of May Parker, King Pin, and Stan Lee, but now, you can also play Mary Jane. Similar to previous mods, Players can freely swing across New York City, beat the hell out of gangsters, and save innocent lives in the role of Mary Jane, who does eventually become Spider-Woman in the comics.

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is now available on PC, and while a number of great mods are already available to provide a smoother experience or just cause humor, platform NexusMods is taking action against anything that is meant to make the game less inclusive.

According to NexusMods, a user under the brand new account name of "Mike Hawk" uploaded a mod replacing the textures for the handful of Pride flags scattered throughout the world of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. While far from the only provider of mods on the internet, NexusMods is one of the largest modding platforms available online.

"In regards to the replacement of Pride flags in this game, or any game, our policy is thus: we are for inclusivity, we are for diversity. If we think someone is uploading a mod on our site with the intent to deliberately be against inclusivity and/or diversity then we will take action against it," NexusMods explains, adding that the website does not intend to be an "authority" on mods, but is simply acting as a private business in choosing what to allow and what to ban.

There's something awfully satisfying about transforming a relatively simple concept into an imaginative, albeit incredibly hell-bent creation. Thanks to mods, such transformations exist in nearly every video game that glazes the PC. And when it comes to games like Marvel's Spider-Man, the windows of opportunity are endless.
