I save notes from the Spark email app to Evernote and the feature that allowed you to link back so the source note was an integral part of my work flow. That feature is now gone. Please bring it back.

I'm using both the new and legacy version and old notes do still have the link in the legacy version, but new notes don't have it, even in legacy. This is a huge bummer to my workflow - such a great feature to be able to send emails to Evernote, but later be brought back to the origin email to send a reply if needed.

If you drag and drop a Spark email to your desktop, is the result a MSG file? I have a process with Outlook that I drag and drop emails to my desktop as well as clipping them into Evernote. I'll then attach the MSG file to the note content. When I double-click the file, it opens again in Outlook to allow me to respond or forward it from there. Don't know whether that would work with Spark, but it may be worth a try...

Does anyone know how long it will take before they release Spark email for Windows? I've been on the waitlist for at least a year and they haven't sent any information regarding the release whatsoever.

If you're setting up Xtra Mail on your phone or tablet, IMAP would be best for you. It doesn't take up too much space on your phone. You can use it for email apps such as Microsoft Outlook. See instructions on setting up Xtra Mail on your phone

These are the standard settings used by most email apps. POP3 uses a lot more space on your computer as it stores a copy of all your emails on your computer. If there are lots of emails to download, it could use a lot of data when setting your email up for the first time. Windows 8 Mail does not support POP3.
