Sense & Sorcery

Blade and sorcery has the best melee weapon combat in vr and it looks like with the beta that it would have the best magic combat soon too (although I have not played every vr game in existance and "best" is not objective, It is extremely good at least)

This power is unique to the Tremere and Banu Haqim, one which they argue who created it first. "Thaumaturgy", as the Tremere call it, maintains that it was theirs. Whereas the Banu Haqim are dead set on their version, "Quietus", was the origin long before the Tremere were ever a clan. Both approach the learning style differently, with the Tremere originally relying on the Pyramid and its structure to ensure neonates were taught before its collapse, now they seek information on this power through scraps of its remains. Whereas the Banu Haqim stressed the Sire Childe relationship to teach them, however, these nights many Banu Haqim ends up in different places than their sire. The Tremere use their magics to inflict powerful attacks on their opponent's body with powers like Scorpion's Touch. Some may even use Thaumaturgy to ease their feeding by drawing their blood into their mouth without touching them by utilizing Theft of Vitae.[2] In a similar fashion the Banu Haqim use their blood sorcery to turn vitae into poison and use it as a weapon. Harnessing the power for killing is not the only use they have as the viziers delve into rituals to learn secrets from others' blood. [3]

In this significant new work in African Philosophy, Christopher Wise explores deconstruction's historical indebtedness to Egypto-African civilization and its relevance in Islamicate Africa today. He does so by comparing deconstructive and African thought on the spoken utterance, nothingness, conjuration, the oath or vow, occult sorcery, blood election, violence, circumcision, totemic inscription practices, animal metamorphosis and sacrifice, the Abrahamic, fratricide, and jihad. Situated against the backdrop of the Ansar Dine's recent jihad in Northern Mali, Sorcery, Totem and Jihad in African Philosophy examines the root causes of the conflict and offers insight into the Sahel's ancient, complex, and vibrant civilization. This book also demonstrates the relevance of deconstructive thought in the African setting, especially the writing of the Franco-Algerian philosopher Jacques Derrida. ff782bc1db
