when I start the VPN application it fails saying failed to connect, however when I remove the pass.txt line from the config file, it prompts for a username and password and lets me log in with the same credentials

If I leave the pass.txt file out of the configuration and enable the auto_connect the connect fails. As soon as I disable the auto_connect the user prompt displays. entering the username and password allows me to connect.

When it says that the connection has been disabled by the gateway does it mean by a gateway at TalkTalk (my ISP) or is it at my company's end?
