Looking for a good Zombie Survival RPG. My Dad's birthday is coming up and he is a big Zombie fan (Walking Dead, Night of the Living Dead, E.T.C) so I thought this would be a cool experience for him. He hasn't really had any experience with RPG before and neither has the other PC's. A simple system and nothing too in-depth would be fantastic. I've had a look before myself but nothing has really caught my eye yet.

Hello sorry for the disagrement but i have a problem with the mod simple zombie, i can't loot any dead zombie and when i walk next to a dead zombie i take many damage, can you help me please ? Thanks.

@TopGTate Yep I agree, mod still works 100% easy install, menus for me work fine. Zombies attack like they are suppose to and the fast zombies are freaking fast. For a mod that has not been updated in years, I am surprised of the fact that it still works.

I installed it but there are no zombies at all in my game. but i can open the menu with f10 to start infection mode. All the normal pads dissapear but infortunetly there are not spawning zombies in my game. What can i do?

it says:

unhandled exception in script "zombiesmod.scripts.zombieVehiclespawner"!

IndexOutOfRangeException bij ZombiesMod.Scripts.ZombieVehicleSpawner.SmashRandomWindow(Vehicle veh) in c:\Users\sxnor\Documents\Visual studio 2015\Projects\Zombiemod\ZombiesMod\Scripts\ZombieVehicleSpawner.cs:regel 164

Great mods but i have some suggestions. (ik he's not updating it, but mayby someone will make an addon):

-Option in the .ini file to make all zombies fast or a different % of them

-More random events (military resistance etc.)

-More variation in weaponry for merryweather drops

-Lootable ammunation stores (~2 guns per store)

This is a very simple tutorial that most anyone can accomplish. It looks great without being hard to manage, or messy, or too scary/ugly. It was exactly the look we were going for. For easy clean up I just use my makeup remover cloths and then a damp towel.

Dead Island 2 gives you the choice of six different characters at the start. Amy, Jacob, Bruno, Carla, Dani, and Ryan are all fairly unique. Each has its own Innate Skills that clue you into its sort of build. Amy is a character that favors Agility and deals extra damage to isolated zombies. Ryan is much tankier in comparison and regains health whenever he knocks down a zombie.

I paired the tweak with RealSickness so the zombies would sometimes die, especially if they were sloppy and allowed roaches to roam, which, of course, zombies do. I added in NeverWatchFights because cheering fights in a zombie apocalypse is stupid. And I made sure KidsandPetsUnattended was in, so our poor little darlings could all be left orphaned....

I Have the animations, i just want to make realistic zombie AI. i want the zombie to walk around and look for the player,

and if the player is in his line of sight i would like him to run towards the player and attack him. How would i do this?

I Set it up the zombies to just wander around, but they walk really fast, faster than i can sprint, is there a way to change their speed? and are the Find Enemy services and all the other ones u provided to me are seperate blueprints or is it all in one?

Step 8: Dot in some black ink to represent coagulated and dried blood. By now your zombie should look fairly awful, in a good way. I also added some black ink to the eye sockets at this point, since that will make the eyes stand out more.

Thanks for the kind words! The flowers are really simple to paint, just a dot of yellow surrounded by small white stripes for the petals. Oh, and a smaller splash of red/orange on top of the yellow. All there is to it, really!

I have always loved the story of Stone Soup. A community coming together to chip in and make something out of nothing is how I envision what I hope my community becomes in an emergency scenario. Homemade dry soup mix made from dehydrated vegetables is an excellent part of your emergency food storage plans. Before I get blasted by the people out there who keep prepping 100% OPSEC (operational security), I have built sharing into my prepping in a short term emergency. I feel the best security is to make sure that no one around me is truly in need. AKA a zombie. Prepping things like this simple Zombie Soup will hopefully go a long way in keeping the zombies at bay for at least a little while.

A zombie is a mythical dead person who has returned to life as a walking corpse. Mythical things that have been "re-animated" are called undead, or the living dead. The zombie myth came from the Caribbean.

In Haiti people believe that Voodoo sorcerers or 'bokor' can bring dead people back to life, making a zombie. The zombie is under the control of the sorcerer because zombies have no free will. It's believed a zombie is a trapped human soul. If a sorcerer can catch the trapped soul, the sorcerer becomes more powerful.

Wade Davis wrote about zombies in two books, The Serpent and the Rainbow (1985) and Passage of Darkness: The Ethnobiology of the Haitian Zombie (1988). Davis went to Haiti in 1982 and wrote about how a living person can be turned into a zombie by two special powders being rubbed into a wound. The first powder brings a 'deathlike' state because of a certain poison in it, called tetrodotoxin (the same deadly poison found in the Japanese blowfish). At just the right amount, it can make a person almost die, but not quite. The second powder puts the person in a zombie-like state where they seem to have no free will of their own.

Zombies can walk, think (in some cases), and attack living persons. Most zombies eat the brains of living humans. In zombies, the heart, lungs, and a small part of their brain still work. They may react to their environment, but they do not have consciousness. Zombies can use their skeleton and muscles to move. The skin is rotten. Its hair and nails are falling off. Zombies are usually covered in blood. They often have open wounds and are dressed in ripped clothes.

Zombies appear a lot in horror and fantasy films. Normally, the zombie is a mindless, clumsy corpse which eats human flesh. Zombies can not be called cannibals because they do not eat each other, only living humans. The first zombie stories appeared in the 1600s. Since that time, zombies have appeared in lots of books and films. They have become more popular in modern media, such as Capcom's Resident Evil series and AMC's The Walking Dead.

The Zombies move first and can only move one space forwards (including diagonally) or sideways along the pathways - never backwards. Only one zombie moves per turn.

The Human can move one space in any direction along the paths.

If a set of moves is continually repeated the Zombies tire and the Human escapes.

Alternatively, you could use the middle of the board for simple 3x3 noughts and crosses (tic-tac-toe) type games, or how about making a lot of the game-pieces and leaving them placed where people will find them, just as a bit of random fun.

The pieces are not a 2 colour print. They are printed with holes and a short piece of filament is glued in for the eyes. The white I used contrasts well with the dark zombies. I used blue filament for the human's eyes. The coil is 1.75mm filament (either PLA or ABS) which many 3D printers use. 3mm (the other common diameter) is too large to use with this size playing piece.

Once you've printed off the board, a few humans and a good selection of zombies a little more work is required. Use a contact or spray adhesive to glue the foam sheet to the base of the board and carefully trim off the excess using scissors and a sharp craft knife. This will give it a grippier base and make it look more finished. Alternatively you could use four stick-on rubber feet.

Here's a little hexagonal box to keep those zombies out of trouble when you're not using them. It can house 14 of the little blighters.

The box took less than 5 minutes to design using DesignSpark Mechanical - A FREE 3D CAD package. As with any complex software there is a learning curve, but of the ones I've used this is my favourite and very powerful once you get familiar with it. There is also a fully-featured PCB design package to complement it. e24fc04721
