Hi, for some time I have been experiencing gesture navigation problems with other launchers other than the default launcher.
For example, I use Nova Launcher (I like the application search gesture option) and when I exit an application there are transition bugs with the application display jumping and sometimes a screen transparent appears in the application manager.
skypriv often time launchers come with their own set of gestures that can be set up or are already preset. Make sure that you visit the app's setings and adjust it in a way that does not interfere with system gesture navigation.
One solution to that is to set "Animator duration scale" to a different setting in Developer Options (try "off," try "0.5x," etc). I'd try that to see if it fixes your issue as well, if not try playing with the other animation settings in Developer Options.
The better solution is to relaunch the Setup Wizard while your custom launcher is set to default. Nova launcher actually includes a widget to launch an activity for that, unfortunately I don't believe it works without root.
Murcielago yes I tried with Hyperion, Shade Launcher, Pixel Launcher (Inspire Theme), Lawnchair etc. and each time it gives me this problem. I even factory reset my Pixel with Grapheneos and the bug came back.
graphie I tried as you told me by setting all animations to 0.5x and I also tried several manipulations by deactivating the animations on Nova launcher and putting them back etc. It reduced the stuttering slightly but I still experience screen judder issues with image slowdowns during application transitions
