Okay cool, i set my mac address of the xbox to "highest" because the only other person is my gf and her phone lol but what ive been reading about changing the dns for higher speeds and port forwarding isnt really necessary?

Well I tried temporarely moving my setup so I can have a direct connection to my xbox form the router but for some reason im getting around 12 Mbps wired, and around 190 Mbps using Wireless 5Ghz... and latency is around 60 on both which I beleive is normal.

thanks for that I been looking everywhere for the current xbox mappings for FS, I am not a gamer and dont use a xbox, but one suggestion I would have is change z scale to 20.00 that way 'pushing' the controllers will zoom in , and of course feathering slow down or speed up the moverments

thats great. I tried a xbox controller and got the settings about right but I just got to used to using the 3d mouse. I'm sure gamers will love the controller for a flycam I talked to another video maker and he uses a flight controller so you also use your feet for some of the flycam movement

I have the base game, Reno air race add expansion pack and planes, F-14, F-22, Top Rudder Ultrlight, Kitfox and scenery, Top Gun add on, A320 Liveries, Aircraft Carriers, Free Sea Vessels, Chicago Scenery and IFR Training Add On. All the stuff through the Miscrosoft/ xbox Marketplace of course.

All of your custom control mappings are embedded in your save file, which is installed both on your local machine and in the cloud. Other preferences such as sound volume settings, Pilot/co-pilot avatars are saved in this save file, too.

I deleted everything pictured. I did not delete saved game data. All my custom settings for my mouse, keyboard and thrustmaster hotas stayed just as they were before the reinstall. Every game setting remained the same! It was an easy experience.

It's not a permanent fix - whenever you restart the game, it is temporarily fixed, but will happen again whenever the game is idle and times out your active profile. There is a bug in FIFA 22. It isn't seeing the player logged into xbox and it can't seem to "retry" connecting to the active profile. This isn't a new issue either, but it would work by logging out and back in for prior consoles to X and S series. With this console, it's just not working. Poor effort by EA IMO.

Edit: to anyone who found this question through a search, I never did find a solution for this for version 1607. Microsoft's documentation was apparently incorrect and a newer version was needed to give access to the additional settings.

The three settings I am most interested in are: Saving Captures (see/set folder), Audio (quality setting), Video encoding (resolution, quality). According to the support.xobx.com page those should all exist.

Am I somehow in some limited tablet view of the app? Are the other settings only available for newer versions of Windows 10? As far as I can tell there is no way to update the Xbox App manually or even to know whether an update exists.

In the general settings, you'll find six sections: Network Settings, Personalization, TV & Display Options, Online Safety & Family, Volume & audio Output, and Power mode & startup.
