As days go by, the functions that can be performed on TV are becoming increasingly developed. The TV itself also supports many features, and if your personal computer is available as it is on the TV, the possibilities of what you can do will be more extensive. In addition to PC remote access and PC mirroring, you can access MS Office 365 directly and work on documents on your TV. Check out the features available in the Remote Access.

Three basic functions are available in Remote Access menu panel. It is the Remote PC that you can remotely control your PC through an IP network, Screen Sharing that mirrors a PC or smartphone connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and the Office 365 function that can be accessed directly using the TV web browser.

Remote PC function allows you to control PC from Smart TV. First of all, you need to know your PC's correct IP address, username, and password in order to use the remote PC features. Make sure your keyboard and mouse are connected to the TV, and follow the guide on how to access to your PC on the TV.

Have you ever wished your TV could double as your computer? Now, with the QLED TV, Odyssey Ark, and Smart Monitor, your wish has come true. When you need to access files or call in to a conference meeting, there are two ways to remotely access your computer: via a remote PC connection or wireless screen sharing. You just need to set up the different features and have a compatible Windows PC, Mac, or Smart Monitor.

If you ever need to work from home but forgot your laptop at work, you can use remote access to connect to and control your computer. However, in order to use the remote PC features, you must set up your computer's user profile.

To share your computer's screen on your TV, press the Home button on your TV remote. Navigate to and select Source, select PC on TV, and then select Screen Sharing. Use the on-screen instructions to adjust your preferred settings and wirelessly connect the TV to a computer.

You can also use this feature if you have a Smart Monitor; the steps are just a little different. Press the Home button on the remote, navigate to Source, then select Remote Access, and then select Screen Sharing (Wireless). Next, use the on-screen instructions to adjust your preferred settings and connect to your PC.

Hi All, use case is as follows. I got a spare monitor sitting in another room in the house and was thinking if I could plug in Samsung Dex and use it to remote my windows machine whenever I need. The only way I've been able to make it work is via chrome remote desktop and its not ideal with how laggy it is. Does anyone know of a solution that works over the intranet instead without going out to a service then back in?

I am using a Series 7 UHD samsung TV (model: UE65TU7095U) and I am trying to use the remote access feature with my PC which is in another room. Both TV and PC are connected by etherent cable to the router.

The experience with the remote access is mostly ok, but when I try to play any video (from VLC, media player, youtube, etc) the fps are completely off, they charge slowly and one by one which makes it appear like an extreme tearing effect.

The problem is not about setting up a network or connecting the pc to the tv. The remote access works, as well as screen sharing. The problem is that while using remote access, the videos I play don't work properly. The sound is correct but the image has extreme tearing, like the frames are charged really slow.

I have a Samsung Q8F TV and a tiny Lenovo machine running Windows 10. The device does not support HDMI CEC, as far as I can tell, but I would like to browse Plex Media Player using my Samsung's TV remote.

Has anyone done that before? I assume my HTPC needs to connect wirelessly to my TV, either via WiFi or Bluetooth, and then somehow intercept the TV remote's buttons, when that input source is selected on the TV.

Samsung and Microsoft have been working closely together to prepare for the upcoming general availability of Windows Virtual Desktop. Their goal is to optimize DeX for Windows Virtual Desktop-based environments using the new Microsoft Remote Desktop Client for Android. First, it's important to understand the benefits of using Samsung DeX with the remote desktop, as well as its limitations.

Enter the name of the remote PC into PC name. This name can be a Windows computer name, an Internet domain name, or an IP address. You can also append port information to the PC name (for example, MyDesktop:3389 or 10.0.0.1:3389). This field is the only required field.

Resolution sets the remote resolution you want to use for desktop connections globally. If you have already set a custom resolution for an individual connection, this setting won't change that.

A Remote Desktop Gateway (RD Gateway) lets you connect to a remote computer on a private network from anywhere on the Internet. You can create and manage your gateways using the Remote Desktop client.

The Remote Desktop for Android client uses standard touch gestures. You can also use touch gestures to replicate mouse actions on the remote desktop. The following table explains which gestures match which mouse actions in each mouse mode.

Error: Workspace cannot connect to the remote PC. Make sure the remote PC is turned on, connected to the Internet and remote access enabled. You cannot connect if the PC's in sleep mode.

If device users need additional troubleshooting and support from you, they may request a remote support session. During this session, you can connect directly to their device from your computer and run diagnostics or fix issues remotely.

Knox Manage supports several ways to start a remote session on a device. You can Automatically start or Ask users to start a remote session, or start a remote session through an access code.

If the device is fully managed, or fully managed with a work profile, you can start a remote session without an access code. Make sure you complete the appropriate steps under Install and enable the Knox Remote Support agent before you follow these steps.

To end the session and cease remote support, instruct the device user to tap Stop on the screen, or click Disconnect in the Knox Remote Support Viewer on your computer.

I noted that there are no questions about this, and it's sounding very strange.Anyway, I know the gemote project has been abandoned, so I'm wondering if anything similar has been developed. In brief, I would like to have a remote controller app in my Ubuntu PC to control my Samsung Smart TV connected to the same local network.

With the recent release of Remix OS (a custom, easy to use x86_64 iteration of Google's Android OS) you should now be able to run the Samsung Camera Manager mobile app on just about any 64 bit PC or MAC: all from a USB drive. The mobile app has many of the same features as remote studio as well as 'Quick Transfer' and, if you're connection is strong enough, the 'Live View' is decidedly more real-time than I have ever gotten from Remote Studio. I currently have my NX1 paired with my late 2014 Macbook Air and it all worked flawlessly right out of the box.

Once you connect your Samsung phone to PC, you can remote control your phone from your PC. This means you get full control of your phone from your PC and your phone does not need to be rooted for remote control. Therefore, you can control your phone from your laptop even when you are miles apart.

You can mirror your Samsung phone screen to your computer screen. This helps to view phone content on a bigger screen. Your phone and your computer do not have to be on the same network and hence, you can screen mirror your phone to your computer remotely.

Each remote Chrome tab gets its own section in chrome://inspect/#devices. You can interact with that tab from this section. If there are any apps using WebView, you see a section for each of those apps, too. In this example, there's only one tab open.

To use your Windows 11 PC as a host so that you're able to connect to it from another computer, you first need to set up remote access. In Windows 11, head to Settings > System > Remote Desktop.

Click Add to add another account. At the Select Users window, type the name of the account you want to add, and then click Check Names. Click OK and then OK again. You'll now be able to sign in with that account when you connect remotely to this PC.

You can remotely connect to your Windows 11 PC from a variety of operating systems and devices -- not just any Windows PC, but a Mac, an iPhone or iPad, or an Android device. You'd just need to download and install the Microsoft Remote Desktop app for your respective OS or device. For this scenario, let's assume you're connecting from another Windows PC.

Type the name of your Windows 11 PC in the Computer field. Click the button for Show Options. If needed, type the username of the account on the remote Windows 11 PC that you wish to use. Check the box for Always ask for credentials if you want to enter your password each time you connect to this PC as a security measure. When ready, click Connect. ff782bc1db
