No matter what I do I can't seem to be able to connect my Samsung NX30 to my phone? I bought it about a month ago and am just now trying to use this feature because I want my photos on my phone and my computer. USB connection works fine for plugging it into my laptop but I can't connect it to my phone that way and the wifi won't work! I lost my manual, can't find anything that helps online, and I can't connect it to my phone or my home network. Am I missing something? Please help!

I've had my Samsung camera for three years and used to connect to my phone all the time no problem. As of recently no matter what I do it will not connect to my iPhone, iPad or my boyfriends Samsung smart phone. It sucks because it was my favorite feature about the Camera

Hi, this is an out of topic question. I own Samsung NX30 camera and since you do too I am just wondering if you are experiencing the same problem? The "Wi-Fi" features of my camera do not work anymore, it's directing me to a "Korean Browser". For example, if I were to e-mail myself a photo using the camera, it wouldn't get passed the Korean browser, I have no clue what it says. It seems to me that these features are no longer supported which sucks a lot!

That's what i usually do, had the same issues with the NX1000, what worked at the end is using the standalone MobileLink (green icon) app, though the only thing i could do is transfer files - no remote viewfinder....does not work for the NX3000 though

You forgot to tell which Samsung app you are using on you phone. Samsung Smart Camera App is the one which supports NX3000 (version 3.5 is the newest), Samsung Camera Manager is for NX1 and NX500 only (it does not support older cameras like NX3000, NX30, NX300). But I'm afraid your problems are related to the Android version 7.0 on your phone, as Samsung Smart Camera App is quite old, built for Android versions 5.1 (Lollipop) and below, and hasn't received updates for a while.

I would exclude the firmware. My NX3000 has also firmware v. 1.11 and it works fine with the Samsung Smart Camera App under Android 5.1. I remember reading some complaints about the Smart Camera App under Marshmallow and Nougat (some people said that it cannot be used at all under Nougat) but I cannot check it myself as I have no such phones.

Hi, it works after installing the NX3000 Samsung Smart Camera App. However, the connection to my smart phone lasted not more than 3 mins and then disconnected while transfering photos from the camera to my mobile. Managed to transfer 2 photos out of 6. The camera just hanged or freezes and unable to power off the camera. Only way to resolve the problem is to eject and reinsert the battery. It seems that the Samsung Smart Camera App is unable to pair the camera to both of my mobile. I did install the Samsung Smart Camera App on my Android phones ( Oneplus and Realme XT) and the problem is still the same.

The Lumix S9 is Panasonic's newest full-frame mirrorless camera. It allows users to create their own custom looks for out-of-camera colors and is the first full-frame Lumix camera aimed squarely at social media content creators.

The Sony a9 III is the world's first full-frame mirrorless camera to feature a global electronic shutter with simultaneous readout. After extensive testing of this 120 fps sports camera, to see what you gain (and, perhaps, lose).

The Fujifilm X100VI is the sixth iteration of Fujifilm's classically-styled large sensor compact. A 40MP X-Trans sensor, in-body stabilization and 6.2K video are the major updates, but do they make the camera better?

I love this camera. I have always used cannon. But I will be changing brands on my next camera. I can not seem to get a cannon to last after the on I had for 5 yrs finally tore up. I have bought three since , and not a one of them are worth a crap. So I will own one of these for my next camera.

That is amazing for a point and shoot camera. The photos are beautiful and I love that with the wifi connectivity, you can share with you social networks. Better quality photos than a smartphone with the same sharing options, but not a big and bulky as a DSLR. Perfect!

I solved mine. I did a soft reset of the SmartThings Hub using the button on back to flashing yellow, then temporarily connected hub to my iPad hot spot. Then the camera, which connected right away. then I went back to the original network and all is connected as it was before,.

I resetted my hub and lost all my automations etc and started over from scratch which in the end was totally unnecessary. These cameras seem to be directly connected to the cloud and do not connect directly to the hub.

Now connect the camera to your Phone network (hotspot, internet sharingwhatever its called these days). It will now register on your samsung account. Now after that you turn off internet sharing on your phone and give your phone back its old name. Now turn on your router at home and the camera will connect to your home network (because you used the same name and key/pwd as your home network).

You can then control and automate it via your hub and all is good in the hood. The important thing to remember. Dont reset your hub or do anything with it. The problem is not there. Now why it wont connect the normal way right from the start. That I dont know. In the end the result is all that matters. It kept my occupied for a good few days during the pandemic Stay safe !

I tried @99ramon 's idea and it solved (momentarily) I managed to finish the installation and was able to register it to my Samsung Account. But, the minute I turned off the HotSpot and turned on the WiFi I was no longer able to connect to the camera.

The only thing that helped me fix all the issues was to connect to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network instead of the 5 GHz. I reset the camera again (for the 999 time) and went through the whole process once again but using the 2G WiFi and now it works perfectly!!

I discussed this same thing with @johnconstantelo I got 2 of these, 1 connected perfectly to my 5ghz network but the second would only connect to 2.4ghz. Would get to 99% registering to my account, just hang then fail.

These are the most expensive cameras on the market and somehow they lack capabilities with the best smartfridge? Get your team to work and figure this out please. Or at least point me towards a direction where I can write to someone with authority in your business unit that might be able to make change. If Nest is losing market share, things like this is why.

@Nicosuave, I understand where you're coming from. Let's go ahead and sort things out. To confirm, do you still have the box of your Samsung fridge? If so, kindly check if you see the "Works with Nest" badge? Also, what is the light status of your Nest Camera? Do you see any error messages? Let us know your update.

I wanted to follow up and see if you are still in need of any help. Please let me know if you are still having any concerns or questions from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

A mere two days after Christmas 2013, I wrote about where my photography future was going, and what was going to take me there. In that post, I mentioned I had received the Samsung NX1100 Smart Camera as a Christmas gift from my wonderful wife, and was planning on instantly forcing it into my day-to-day photography. Ironically, it is that very camera that has allowed me to have a resurgence of "day-to-day photography" and so, after almost a full month's worth of using it, it's time to set about with a review! 152ee80cbc
