Fall River, MA-Rosemary Ifeoma Chukwu fondly known as Ojiugo passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2019 in St. Anne's Hospital, Fall River, Massachusetts. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin & mother of all. She was the widow of late Christopher Chukwu of Umuabi Udi, Enugu state Nigeria and the daughter of the late Ambrose Onyia and the late Susan (Agu) Onyia.
Rosemary is survived by six children, Valentine Chukwu of Nigeria, Chinwe Udeh of Maryland, Degaulle Chukwu of Nigeria, Antoinette Chukwu of Massachusetts, Oby Ikoku of Scotland and Victor Chukwu of Nigeria; twelve grandchildren, Adaeze Chukwu, Nnamdi Chukwu, Ebube Chukwu, Uchenna Ikoku, Ogechukwu Udeh, Tobenna Ikoku, Lotanna Ikoku, Jayden Chukwu, Jordan Chukwu, Izuchukwu Anidi, Kosisochukwu Anidi, Uzoamaka Anidi; as well as her sons and daughers-in-law, Ozo Nnanyelugo II Vincent Udeh , Okechukwu Anidi, Mazi Nnanna Ikoku (Kokai) , Chinelo Chukwu, Tonye Chukwu, Chinwe Chukwu
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11AM in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River, MA 02720. Family will receive visitors beginning at 10AM prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
