Some time ago krikzz revealed the Mega Everdrive Pro's features and one of the things is does is running NES games. It works by having part of the NES running on its FPGA and letting the Mega Drive handle video output. Now, this is just a "bonus" feature and it doesn't work great (CHR-ROM bank switching is a big problem), but for many games it should be good enough.

If the voltage and the connection are the same for both the Sega Game Gear

as for the Sega Megadrive then it won't be a problem. The only problem

could be the polarity but i assume that the information about the polarity

is

available on the Sega Game Gear casing. You could also use a universal

adapter (the one where you can switch voltages between 3 and 12 volts)

which has those exchangable connectors so you can use it for devices with

different pins and/or polarity. I use one with my Sega Megadrive. Although

the Sega Megadrive requires 10 volts instead of the 9 volts the universal

adapter provides it works fine here.Gtx,Paul

Necro bump, seeing as this is the first page you get in google when you search for Gamegear PSU.

The yellow tipped megadrive/Genesis model 2 PSU only works on some Gamegears, others use the model 1 PSU (only difference is formfactor and polarity between them).

Based on what I know Gamegears with model number HGG-3210 use a model 1 PSU.

While the Gamegears with a model number of HGG-2110 use a model 2 PSU.

I know there is also a model number 2110-50 which has a different PSU requirement, I believe a model 1 but not 100% sure.

Why there is a difference, I don't know. My best guess is either that the 3210 are european and Japanese (As I only got European and japanese GG's and are all that model number) or that it's an early model.

Thanks for being the wind beneath our pixelated wings. We'll keep you posted as we battle through these hiccups and gear up to deliver the gaming gem you deserve. In the meantime, check out some of Mega Cat Studios' other projects coming this holiday season to a console near you : Kudzu , Sacred Line 2 and The Meating.

Upon opening the box and sliding out the cardboard tray containing the Micro, neatly tucked into a clear plastic baggie, the sheer tininess will hit you hard. Despite the photos of a Game Gear Micro next to a VMU and my own experiments in printing out a scale sized paper cutout of the Micro, it was still smaller than I expected. Opening the back and popping in two AAA batteries was easy, no tiny screwdrivers required, and controls are intuitive because it mimics the larger original Game Gear.

The Ancient Gears are objects that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are seven gear-like relics Dr. Eggman sought for his Mega Drive project.

Years ago, Dr. Eggman learned of the Ancient Gears and attempted to collect them to use them a power source for his Mega Drive. Searching the Eastwatch Islands, Eggman found six Ancient Gears, only to lose them to Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, Amy Rose, and Knuckles the Echidna after a series of battles.[1] Luckily for Eggman, Metal Sonic arrived on the scene and took back five Ancient Gears, kidnapping Amy in the process. Eventually, Eggman found the final gear and used it as a power source for Metal Sonic, giving him the boost he needed to defeat Sonic. However, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles fought back and forced Metal Sonic to retreat. Seeing as Eggman had all of the Ancient Gears, the four heroes decided to find the Chaos Emeralds as a countermeasure.[2]

Features :

- Power supply compatible with Sega Game Gear

- There are two versions of power supply, a version with a Mega Drive 1 connector type, and a version with a Mega Drive 2 connector type. The version with Mega Drive 2 connector is less common, they are generally usa consoles

- The electrical characteristics of the power supply and its tip are adapted to the console

- Electrical Specifications : MD1 type [9V, 2A, reversed polarity] MD2 type [9V 1A, positive polarity]

- Quality power supply, it does not create artefacts / parasites on the screen unlike many power supplies sold at low prices

- This power supply is more powerful than the original power supply, this ensures proper operation with Everdrive type flash cartridges which use more energy

- EURO-type compatible 110-230VAC

- Wire length: 1.5M

- A label is present on the power supply with the electrical characteristics and the name of the console

- New product prepared in France

Note: The power supply model shown in the illustration may vary in appearance (not the quality of the product). The photo is generic the visible connector tip may not correspond to the console

"I couldn't drive before this job," he said. "I was filming another job, and every time I wrapped I'd run to a driving lesson at night. The producers kept phoning me asking if I'd passed. I did, the first time, thank God."

MIDI keyboards are used in two special cartridges: Miracle Piano Teaching System, released only in US, and Wonder MIDI, released only in Japan and requires a Model 1 Wondermega (either RG-M1 or HWM-5000) to operate. While MIDI keyboards can be operated with MPTS as usual, Wonder MIDI also requires a special disc from the CD-MIDI standard to be inserted, as the software itself is not capable to do interactions with the soundchips of both Mega Drive and Mega-CD.

Most emulators don't support Lock-On save for Genesis Plus GX, but there are pre-combined ROMs for the Sonic trilogy available online that can be played as a regular Megadrive ROM on any emulator and still work. The Sonic 3 Complete romhack also achieves the same purpose.

The Mega Drive Plus / Genesis Plus (sometimes abbreviated as MD+) is a special mode for certain Genesis games that use enhanced CDDA tracks with a Sega CD. This was not used in any official games, however, the mode itself was first used in the first batch of Pier Solar releases. This feature was been documented to be used on Terraonion's Mega SD flash cartridge, to give similar effects for Genesis games in a way that MSU-1 does in patched SNES games. Another variant was been made for Mega Everdrive PRO, named MSU-MD.

Sonic Drift is a pretty blatant rip-off of Mario Kart. Everything from the behind the character 3D perspective to the on-screen map and power-ups is clearly borrowed. That in and of itself is not a bad thing at all because the formula is fantastic. Your basic mode of play is a grand prix against the three other other characters. You drive three laps around the track to complete each race, and have five or so rounds per prix. You earn points based on your placement (first gets 3, second 2, third 1, and fourth 0) and at the end of all the tournament the racer with the highest score wins overall.

You switch settings using the on/off button on top of the light, enabling you to alternate between options as you ride to suit the conditions and extend the battery life. You can also use the same button to set the light to run in Overdrive Race Mode (this switches between the brightest mode and the economy mode only). The on/off button also illuminates to let you know the remaining power level. 17dc91bb1f
