During the day it is useful to have louder ringtones. But during the evening or night it would be nice to have not so obtrusive melody.

Hello. I am wondering if there is a way to make your ringtone change after a certain time has been passed, like midnight. Because of my job, I sometimes get late calls, anywhere from midnight to early in the morning. My problem: I'm a heavy sleeper. I'm wondering if there's some way to change all ringtones from the default or custom ones for contacts, to a different, more jarring one; like my alarm tone for instance. I've tried researching this, but all I ever find is Do Not Disturb, which is the exact opposite of what I want. Any ideas?

yes sir you can do it. you can not set ringtone based on time. but you you can set the ringtone based on specific contacts.all you have to do is go to edit option on the contact you want to set the ringtone for and scroll down you will see a ringtone option in which you can set the ringtone of your choice. hope this helps you . thank you.

My bad, I could have misread your question. Unfortunately, I do not believe you can schedule Silent Mode. You will have to manually use the switch on the left side of your iPhone. During Silent Mode, notifications and phone calls will vibrate instead of making ringtone sounds.

From here, you can rename the profile if you'd like, but make sure to tap "Volume Profile" to adjust the individual volume levels for when this profile is active. Beyond that, you can set a custom ringtone and notification sound for this profile using the other two entries in the Profile Settings category.
