I have added a new ringtone to the ringtones list in Settings->Sounds->Phone ringtone>Add ringtone. After that I can see the same ringtone file in Ringtones folder of Internal storage. I need to remove this ringtone? For that I have deleted that file from folder. But, the ringtone is still running there. How to remove it.

Instead, do a search for the ringtone or sound effect you added using the Files app (comes with Android), then erase it. It'll be removed from the ringtone selection menu without erasing all the other sound files.

I am trying to set an alarm overnight based on if it is a workday or not. I have this working but am struggling to set a ringtone for the alarm, anything I do just ends up with the default tone. Does anyone know how I can use android.intent.extra.alarm.RINGTONE to set the ringtone to a specific file?

Hi all. I'm putting this here, but this also involves my iPhone. I have a ringtone already downloaded, I want to add to my phone. I used Command O to add the file to library, but when I sync the phone, or look at my ringtones, I don't see it. Can any one help? thanks so much.

that's why i said apple are in the habit of yanking features and adding bugs. at least this time they listened to their business customers, it's all about money.

i have six devices, and i had to periodically go to app store from each device and download each and every app six times? freaking ridiculous. and for those think itunes 12.7 runs faster, let me assure you it's all psychological, because i compared them side by side with multiple machines.

For the poster that said it works for them, info would help. Are you on a Mac? How did you do it, step by step would be great, otherwise big help. Said with wicked sarcasm. To the person who posted about the commercial itunes version, how could I run that on my Mac and have the other version as well? A bit confused here. Int he end, it's one stupid ringtone, and if I want it that bad I could trade in my six s plus for a 10. Maybe I'll just give up. Thanks all. I'm just annoyed everything I do doesn't work, and the icing was the "It works for me." comment.

Hi Siobhan

iTunes version 12.7 does not included tones section, you have interact may be with the tones table couple times will drop the ring tone

and 12.71 I think according at Mac rumors will included tones section to be honest I am not sure cause I don use the laters version.

iTunes 12.6.3 does include tones section I am using this version, I don't recommend to all of you don't know much about the how to use multiple iTunes library

to all of you here the DMG disk below:

you have to press and hold the option key to create a new library and move and copy

3. Find your iPhone, then interact with the sidebar, find the tone section from the on my device, then stop interact with the sidebar. VO right arrow to find the tone table, then copy your ringtone and paste it in the table. Then hit the sync button. And your done.

My phone rings the same when external calls come to the general office number as well as directly to me and internal calls. I would like to make the ringtone different for internal calls from external calls at the very least. That way when I hear it from across my large room I know what type of call it is. I can find lots of info on how to change the default ringtone but that chnages it for everything which is not helpful, and I have read how to manually add internal calls with a different ring tone one by one in the directiry, but i don't wnat to manually add 30 employes to the directory and change their ringtones one at a time.

Once you have downloaded or purchased music files onto your Galaxy device, you can choose to set them as ringtones. You can also assign a track to one of your contacts so you can recognise straight away who is calling.

In order to set it as a ringtone, the music file must be downloaded directly onto your device (i.e. tracks that you have purchased or directly downloaded). Use the links below to download music using Samsung Music or load files onto your device from your Windows PC.

This wikiHow teaches you how to create and install a custom ringtone from a song on your iPhone using iTunes on your iPhone, PC, or Mac. If you're using macOS Catalina or later, you'll actually be using the Music app. You can also create a custom ringtone from a GarageBand project on your Mac. You can easily create a ringtone from most music file types, including M4As and MP3s, as long as it's saved to your computer. Once you've added the song's ringtone to your iPhone, you can set it as the phone's default ringtone or as the ringtone for a specific contact.

2. Go to your music library and find the song you want to make into a ringtone. Play the song and keep an eye on the elapsed time at the top of the app. Note the time stamp where you want the ringtone to start, then note where you want it to end. (Note: Ringtones cannot be longer than 30 seconds.)

Venu 2 Plus. Before update to 9.17, when a call incoming, ringtone from phone was played on watch speaker. At the same time, vibration was constantly working. It is very comfortable. After update, an incoming call triggers one short peak and one vibro, as with a notification of a new message. I'm missing calls now. How to return everything back? Tried to change setting "System -> Sounds -> Ringtone", it does not help.

The volume in all watch settings is set to maximum. I did not change the settings, the ringtone stopped playing after updating to version 9.17. Maybe there is a possibility to rollback to the previous firmware?

Im having the same problem too, no ring tone on watch only vibration when the phone ring is on. If I turn phone to mute the watch gets the ringtone. Im sure it used to be on both at the same time. Samsung phone running android 12 and One UI4.1.

If you're not all that impressed with the inbuilt tones which come with your device, you may have already purchased ringtones from the iTunes Store. However, we will also cover how to create your very own ringtones from music you already have in your iTunes library!

But what if you want your iPhone ringtones on your shiny new iPhone or Android phone, or even on your computer? No worries - this is pretty easy to do, and we'll take you through the steps you need to accomplish this quickly and easily.

This first method is an essential skill to have on your toolbelt, as it's required to be able to transfer your ringtones to another iPhone or Android. Whenever there's a need to copy media from an iPhone to a computer, you can't go wrong with the TouchCopy app. TouchCopy is an incredibly handy and powerful tool which allows you to copy music, messages, photos, contacts and more from iPhone, iPod and iPad to your computer - functionality that iTunes simply does not provide.

Making the big switch from iPhone to Android? This can be a daunting experience with a lot to think about. If you're struggling or need some help, check out our guide to switching from iPhone to Android.

If you just need to transfer some great ringtones to your new Android phone, or if you need to copy over all your contacts, music and photos too, you can use the trusted and popular TouchCopy software.

Great! Now that your Android contains the ringtones you copied from your iPhone; you can set them in your device Settings. Settings vary from device to device, but you can generally find your ringtone settings in Settings > Sound/Notifications > Phone Ringtone.

If you've recently bought yourself a new iPhone, you're going to want to access your existing ringtones on it, right? This is super easy for your purchased ringtones, but it's a different story if you want to transfer custom ringtones to your new device.

If you have ringtones that you've created yourself, ringtones that were not purchased from iTunes Store, or if you are running iOS 10 or lower, you'll need to use an alternate route in order to transfer ringtones from iPhone to iPhone:

Fun Extra: Did you know you can set a different ringtone depending on who is calling or texting you? That's right, why not set Kanye West's "Hey Mama" for when your mum calls? Or set that song which reminds you of your crazy best friend for when they call?

In this section we'll show you how to make a song in your iTunes library your ringtone on your iPhone. Note that iPhones are restricted to only use files which are 0-30 seconds long as ringtones, so if you wish to use a song as your ringtone, you'll need to cut it down to your favourite bit.

First, you'll need to make sure your desired song is in your iTunes library. If you have the song on your iPhone, but not in your iTunes library, you can use TouchCopy to transfer music from iPhone to iTunes.

To set a song as your ringtone it needs to saved in your Files app or must be purchased and downloaded on your phone. You can't use songs that you just have saved on Apple Music or another streaming service such as Spotify.

The easiest way to do this is to pick out your favorite song and save it to files using an mp3 converter or buy it in the iTunes Store. Then you'll have to create a loop of that song in GarageBand and export it as a ringtone. Don't worry, the process is quite easy, and we'll talk you through the steps.

First, download the song you'd like and save it to your iPhone. The easiest way to do this is probably by downloading the song you'd like from YouTube, and converting that to an mp3. Click the link above if you need help with that.

After logging in on the Android phone, new users will see a dashboard with three preloaded video ringtones to get started. You can get more from Vringo's library by browsing categories. We're disappointed that there seems to be no search feature. After a 5-second default preview (you can click to see a full clip at launch, except for the Marvel category), you can decide to download the vringo to your gallery. ff782bc1db
