Download Radeon Software Adrenalin 2022

This might come up silly and I've just missed something, but on step 6. after downloading the windows 7 adrenaline and running installation, there wont be any folders to choose from. Only the installation exe. So Im stuck here for now.

I got my 5700xt about 6 months ago. When I first got it, I installed adrenalin 2020 when it first came out and it worked great. It detected all of my games without issues, and showed them as running even when I launched them from steam.

Install the driver. Do not make any changes to the settings in terms of image processing within the radeon software (standard profile). Leave it stock. (make sure vsync /freesync is off within the radeon software)

Start a flight and from within the cockpit (and only the cockpit press ALT R) it will bring up the radeon software. Go to performance and tuning and look for the little switch that turns on the monitoring overlay that will show you your gpu usage fps wattage and temps in the upper right corner of your monitor.

Once you have the sim running smoothly then you can go into the performance section of the radeon software and experiment with the various tuning and overclocking options for better performance or more gpu headroom if you want more performance from the card (But this may be unecessary unless your running 4k/ultra and maxed out card and the frames are still low)

I am told that the AMD and Intel graphics on the hades canyon work together, where AMD provides the graphics and Intel provides the encoding and decoding. With adrenalin drivers, I would be worried about compatibility, despite what AMD says. I personally would not do that to my HIC8i7HVK.

Honestly i didnt want to risk any further instability at the moment. I have had some problems where radeon drivers will cripple my pc with hyperV running. While i have the ability to re-image for a backup instantly I just dont want to. Probably when i have a few hours later this week ill try it out. Will let you know.

I also had some problems currently I have updated the adrenalin driver of my 6900xt to the 22.10.1 version and the fps have returned to rise even more than when I had the 22.5. keep in mind that with my "extreme vfr" project I have extremely large and detailed scenarios (much more than a normal user) and therefore for me this was a much more important problem than an average user.

After reading some posts regarding AMDs 6xxx XT GPUs I got the conclusion that videocards from "team red" are still not recommended ... there seem to be a lot of not fixed bugs in the adrenalin drivers.

For keeping drivers uptodate there's no need for a standalone product like adrenalin. The majority of amd supporting code is present in the linux kernel, mesa and other parts of the eco-system . Updating those equals updating your drivers. ff782bc1db
