So Questie will still remain relevant/installed
The vast majority of the content in this game revolves around the world, its stories, and interacting with it.
Reading quest text and figuring out quests and where/how to do them along with the stories of the characters involved is kinda neat. That's actually the main point of the game.
This is one of those things of "We are listening see, we care, we totally understand what you want :)" when in reality 99% of people (including classic purists) were using an addon for this exact thing. This isnt RDF level of controversy, where some wanted it some didnt. This is a feature that was almost entirely agreed upon as good. Did it streamline questing? Sure, but addons were already doing that. No one was reading quest text except the very first time we played back in 04/05, or just for "nostalgia" back in 2019 when classic first came out.
Questie is almost in everyones download addon list. I dont understand blizzard.

The issue is, Majority of players dont care about this, ESPECIALLY in Classic, where we have done this stuff before, years ago or on Priv servers.
Do some people? Yes. You can still read the quest text even with the addon telling you where to go, all this does is remove a feature that was good, and just makes us install/keep an addon we already are using, for a VERY minor portion of the player base.
yeah sure because that is something the players wanted.
Sure i can use questie and it will be fine, but i makes no sense to me it's not like it would add much to the game, maybe they could't get it to work and came with lazy "classic experience"
Questie is better anyway but holy crap does this show we won't be getting Wrath Classic. Just this butchered version of it based on what Blizzard -thinks- Classic is.
Guess Wrath will be the expansion I never got to play. With so much cut this is hardly it.
yeah i have to agree, the quest helper (which didn't get added until 3.3) was integral to the WoTLK experience.
