This spin-off series covers the events that occur after A Different Shade of Pink, which was Kimberly's departure episode. Kimberly's family history is also delved into as well.

Lord Drakkon has escaped Grace Sterling when Saba's attempt on his life fails. He then powers up with the help of Ninjor who thinks him an ally. Jen Scotts travels to the present time and universe of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to prevent temporal aberrations that are happening across universes. The timeline has also fractured to protect the Morphin Grid and has separated each Ranger team's timelines and aligned them so they are all concurrent but in different worlds. Because of this the Rangers must stand together to defeat Lord Drakkon. The legacy of the Rangers is at stake.

A storyline that showcases the events of the White Ranger's first year as the leader of the Power Rangers and Jason, Zack and Trini's activities as black ops Rangers from the Mighty Morphin comic, while the Go Go Power Rangers tie ins show how the three left the team and the comic's version of the events of "White Light". It also deals with some lingering consequences of the events from Shattered Grid, such as an intergalactic cult of Morphin Grid empowered individuals who threaten the existence of Rangers everywhere in the universe.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comics featured backup features featuring duos in the Power Rangers universe. The backup features were eventually abandoned in order for writers and artists to meet deadlines, as finishing the last back up feature ran into problems and errors during production.

More than a year later, another ongoing series is launched, Go Go Power Rangers by Ryan Parrott and Dan Mora, a prequel series that starts soon after the original five teenagers with attitude first get their powers.

Necessary Evil, a new Power Rangers Crossover. The second crossover in the Powers Rangers comics takes place during a whole year of publication, an event written by Ryan Parrott and Sina Grace with artists Daniele di Nicuolo, Francesco Mortarino, Daniel Bayliss and Eduardo Francisco. In it, Tommy Oliver is losing his Green Ranger power, and the other Rangers must find a way to help him.

Charge to 100! Following the conclusion of The Eltarian War story arc, the Power Rangers and Omega Rangers join forces with some familiar galactic faces to battle a terrifying new cosmic threat as they approach the celebration of the 100th issue of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comics.

Not long after the evil, alternate reality version of Tommy Oliver known as Lord Drakkon helped is world's Rita Repulsa rise to power, he assassinated his malevolent mistress and took her place reigning over the planet. When Drakkon was defeated and imprisoned by the primary universe's team of Rangers, it seemed as if things were starting to change for the better. Instead, the situation got worse than ever once Saba took it upon himself to try and take Drakkon's life in the hopes of preemptively staving off any further cataclysms the villain might bring about. Tragically, it was Saba who lost his life at Drakkon's hands in that encounter, and with the remnants of the living saber, Drakkon began reclaiming the power that was stolen away from him in Shattered Grid.

The first stop in Drakkon's renewed crusade was returning to his own reality and regrouping with his army before launching numerous attacks on just as many teams of Rangers across the multiverse. Apart from the Mighty Morphin team who had been dragged into Drakkon's war, the despot put much of his attention on the dimensionally displaced Hyperforce Rangers. Before long, the Samurai Rangers, RPM, and nearly every other lineup were involved in the conflict from their own respective corners of the multiverse. By fracturing time and reality as they should have been with the power of the Morphin Grid, Drakkon gave himself entire worlds to conquer and amass power from. Thankfully, this plot would be brought to an end and much of the damage Drakkon caused would be undone, though the scars left by the Shattered Grid have continued to prove too deep to ever heal over completely.

Back in 2016, comic book publisher Boom Studios launched their line of Power Rangers comics. They mixed classic concepts from the first season with plenty of new ideas to create stories that fans new and old have been clamouring for.

Boom Studios has begun to reprint Power Rangers comics originally published by Hamilton Comics, Marvel, Image Comics, Valiant/Acclaim in the 1990s and Papercutz in the 2010s. These include many notable writers and artists such as Fabian Nicieza, Scott Lobdell, Steve Ditko (yep, the same on that created Spider-Man and Doctor Strange), Ron Lim, and Darrick Robertson. As a reader of this series I do thank you for providing the reading order. I do want to note that some of the scenes of GGPR volume 3 can be found in Power Rangers Pink. Also you should add the third volume of Recharged to the list. For unlimited power the reading order should be modified to reflect the legendary numbering.

The basic book is available in paperback and hardcover editions, with a cover by David Mack. The main difference between the television series and the comics is that they left out a lot of the corny dialogue and focused more on specific storylines with each ranger and the freedom to add any type of action in the art without being handcuffed to stock footage.

This storyline was so huge that they created a fun fighting game called Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. They also had promotions where they got Tommy from the tv series (Jason David Frank) to star in a few trailers where he plays Lord Drakkon wearing that iconic suit from the comics.

After that storyline, I actually fell out of collecting comics due to being busy with work and moving to a different area. However, during COVID, I started collecting comics again and was amazed at what was happening in the series.

The comics separated two ongoing series at the time (Go Go Power Rangers, a series focused on the events before Tommy joined, had just ended). Mighty Morphin with Tommy, Rocky, Adam, Kimberly, Billy, and Aisha. The other series was simply Power Rangers (I was more focused on this one), where Jason, Trini, and Zack are having their own adventure in space!

In the original TV show, around the middle of season 2, Jason, Trini, and Zack left the team to go to a peace conference in Sweden (show)/Switzerland (comic). In the comics, they expanded where it was a cover story for them after being selected to become the Omega Rangers from a higher power connected to the Morphin Grid. Not only protecting Earth but also many different planets across the known universe.

What makes the comic series awesome is that you do not have to be a Power Rangers fan to enjoy the comics. The art style with the action scenes and the storyline is always fresh, and I love talking about it. Regardless of the design, the comic does a great job putting the various robots to use. Titanus and Tor are put to use in combat situations like the show never tried before, and it gives them distinct cockpits using similar designs as the typical zords from the show, with power coin-like icons behind the pilots.
