The University offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across several colleges, including Agriculture, Humanities, Law, Health Sciences, Social and Management Sciences, Arts, Computing and Communications, Engineering, and Environmental Sciences. Admissions into Bowen University are highly competitive and are based on merit.

When the application is complete and payment is made by the applicant, a message containing a link to the past questions and link to write the post UTME examination would be sent to the Email of the candidate.

Any applicant who fails to present himself/herself for the CBT and oral interview for UTME and Direct Entry respectively as scheduled will automatically forfeit being considered for admission. The use of cell phones and any unauthorized devices are not allowed in the post UTME CBT halls.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities in Nigeria recently called off its industrial strike, which lasted up to 8 months. Most universities have announced resumption dates, and admission processes have begun in earnest. Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) is one of the Nigerian universities currently enrolling students for 2022/2023 admissions. LAUTECH recently announced dates for its post-UTME exercise, debunking rumors that it had scrapped the exercise for UTME entrants.

Any candidate who does not show up for the computer-based test (CBT) or oral interview for UTME or the Direct Entry exercise on their scheduled dates will be disqualified from further consideration for admission. All electronic devices, including cell phones, are strictly prohibited in the post-UTME CBT rooms.
