Pizza Frenzy is an arcade-style pizza delivery game written by Sprout Games and published by PopCap Games. A trial Windows version of the game can be downloaded and played for an hour, with full capabilities unlockable for a fee.

The objective of Pizza Frenzy is to quickly deliver the correct pizzas to customers. The game levels take place in a number of different locations, with each location having a unique topography, including two or more pizza kitchens. Each of these kitchens is responsible for producing and delivering pizzas with a specific topping. During gameplay, customers will appear with an icon representing a specific pizza topping they are calling to order. This icon must be clicked, and the player must then click on the correct pizza kitchen in order to dispatch the ordered pizza to the customer. If players take too long, or try to deliver the wrong pizza, the customer hangs up the phone, causing a decrease in overall customer satisfaction (represented by stars). If customer satisfaction dips low enough (no stars remaining), the game ends.

Before every level starts, the player picks which pizza toppings will be available for order on that level. The number of kitchens varies by level, but ranges from two to four. The actual topping selected for a kitchen has no impact on the game, with the caveat that higher level toppings earn more money. After a certain number of levels are completed, the player earns or unlocks an additional topping of his or her choice. The new toppings from which the player can choose include both standard toppings (e.g. olives or mushrooms), as well as items not normally associated with pizza (e.g. donuts, chocolate or French fries).

After the initial game levels, some percentage of the callers placing orders are actually criminals intent on hurting the pizza business. These include thieves, prank callers, and vandals.[1] If players mistakenly take an order from such an individual, there will be negative effects, such as loss of tip money, a missed order, or a decrease in customer satisfaction. Instead, players must move the order to a police station when such a caller is observed, causing the police to arrest the caller and to provide a monetary reward. Although it can be difficult to spot criminals amidst the fast-paced flurry of mouse clicks, their presence is often alerted by a distinct auditory cue similar to a police radio.

The game contains three game modes based on the same principle. Shown from a top-down view, the player visits different cities where a certain number of pizzas need to be delivered. Before starting a game, the player can select the main topping to offer in that city. Each game, there are two or more pizza houses, one for each type of topping. At irregular intervals, icons with customers appear, requesting a pizza with a specific topping. The player needs to click them and take them back to the delivery house. For each delivered pizza, a tip can be picked up and after a perfect game a zeppelin dropping money appears.

For many years, the Italian Stromboli family made the best pizza in Europe, but now their business is threatened by assembly line products. The player need to help rebuild the family's empire by delivering pizzas as fast as possible.

By progressing through the game, new toppings can be unlocked and upgraded in four steps. For upgraded toppings, more of them can be collected at once before returning to a delivery house. There are 26 toppings that the player can unlock, ranging from the usual (olives, meatballs, pineapple), to unusual ones (chocolate, donuts, French fries) and even plain weird ones (ice, green cheese). The gameplay is spiced up through specific characters such as the celebrity that gives big tips when served in time, the clown that mixes up the order, a banker who collects the tips for the player, bums who can't make up their mind, a gossip lady who can change the orders of the other customers, and many more. There are also bad characters such as a thief (which steals the player's money if delivered to them) or a prankster (which ends the player's topping combo) that need to be taken to the police station first. After a number of games, there is a bonus round where players need to recreate the different toppings on a pizza.

There are three main game modes to play. Speed mode is reflex-based and is played in real-time. Players need to pick up the orders and the tips as fast as possible. The second mode is Memory where the toppings for each customer need to be remembered as they are blanked out before the player can deliver them. The third mode is Simon Says, similar to the Memory mode, but also requiring a specific order of delivery. Players can also design their own pizzas based on the unlocked toppings and there are twelve different cities to play.

Pizza Frenzy is a 2005 time management game developed by Sprout Games and published by Popcap Games. In this game, you must help the Stromboli clan, once the reigning leaders of European pizza market, to rebuild their lost pizza empire throughout the world. You are put in charge of the deliveries to the various (and sometimes wacky) customers and gather the tips to restore the Strombolis to their former glory.

Each map has two to four restaurants which produce pizzas with a specific topping, and you must bring the orders to the right restaurant. Take too long or deliver the wrong pizza and the Stromboli reputation will drop. Get the reputation to zero and it is game over. Also, placing orders for the same toppings in a row will grand combos and more money as a result, as well as upgrading the toppings to be more valuable later on. And to make matters more hectic, several costumers are delinquents that must be brought to the police instead.

This game includes examples of: Anchovies Are Abhorrent: Subverted with the Anchovy toppings whose Flavor Text states that while anchovies often get some bad rap, the ones used in the Stromboli pizzerias are different and delicious. Astral Finale: You think the Strombolis would be satisfied after implementing themselves in every town on Earth? WRONG! They manage to open pizzerias on the Moon and even Mars in the final levels! Cartoon Cheese: The cheese topping looks like your stereotypical holed wedge cheese, even when it's described to be mozzarella (its Level 1) or a four-cheese blend (its Level 2). Company Cross References: One of the customers on the last few levels is Dr. Iggle from Iggle Pop!, another game developed by Sprout Games. One pizza from the bonus rounds is named the Feeding Frenzy, yet another game from Sprout Games. Involuntary Dance: Discussed with the Croon-a-Tune Mushroom topping, which is said to cause anyone who eats it to break out into song and dance. The Shakin' Bacon is also said to cause anyone eating it to be able to dance, although it's unclear if it's involuntary or not. Permanently Missable Content: Each topping's level has a unique name and description of their qualities. However, the game will not allow you to downgrade a topping once it's been upgraded (unless you create a new account and start from scratch), and it won't let you go back and check the past levels' descriptions either. So if you upgrade a topping from Level 1 all the way to Level 4, you won't be able to check out descriptions for Levels 2 and 3. Prank Call: Some orders would turn out to be prank calls, and delivering pizzas to the prank caller will instantly end your combo, regardless of which topping he ordered. Red Herring: Conversed. The Level 4 topping for Anchovies is called "Red Herring". Its description promotes that anyone who eats it will become relaxed and distracted from all their worries. Shout-Out: Level 4 of the Mushroom topping is called "Wonderland Mushroom". One side of the pizza with the mushroom causes you to grow taller, while the other side causes you to shrink. Level 4 of the Chicken Wing topping is called "5 Golden Wings", which reference the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas". Its description states that it's roasted with chestnuts over an open fire. Level 2 of the Ice Cube topping is called "Vanilla Ice Cube", which states that it has "a delicious early-90s flavor." Some toppings reference fairy tales: Level 4 of the Black Bean topping is Magic Beans straight from Jack and the Beanstalk, while Level 4 of the Pumpkin topping is called the "Fairy Godmother Pumpkin", and its description states that it's only available until midnight. Sizable Snowflakes: Such flakes fall on the two Arctic locations we visit (those snowflakes are actually reused assets from Iggle Pop!). Snowy Sleigh Bells: Heard in the music track for the Arctic locations.

This logo is ripped straight from res\menuassets, located inside the pizzafrenzy.saf file which comes with the final release of the game. Any noticeable compression artifact in the image is caused by the fact that PopCap used a JPG file in the final release of the game, presumably to preserve storage space. An alpha mask is used by the game in order to create a transparent background for the logo. ff782bc1db
