iCloud Photos keeps your photos and videos safe, up to date, and available automatically on all of your Apple devices, on iCloud.com, and even your PC. When you use iCloud Photos, you don't need to import photos from one iCloud device to another. iCloud Photos always uploads and stores your original, full-resolution photos. You can keep full-resolution originals on each of your devices, or save space with device-optimized versions instead. Either way, you can download your originals whenever you need them. Any organizational changes or edits you make are always kept up to date across all your Apple devices. Learn how to set up and use iCloud Photos.

The photos and videos that you keep in iCloud Photos use your iCloud storage. Before you turn on iCloud Photos, make sure that you have enough space in iCloud to store your entire collection. You can see how much space you need and then upgrade your storage plan if necessary.

I am using my S95 to take photographs of LCD computer screens which are used to display Microfilm images related to my research. Unfortunately they aren't running a normal OS, so it's not an option to take screen-shots. So far, it's working decently well, though I am running into an issue where the computer screen is reflecting a good amount of glare from the library's lighting wherever there is a black space on the screen. I've tried to reduce glare in two ways:

One thing to keep in mind, if that reflection is always on the same side of the monitor, no matter where you hold the camera, then it's possible it's the backlight of the LCD shining through. If that's the case, no amount of shielding will help, and you'll just have to under expose the image a little and then correct it in a photo editor as best you can.

Important: If you have backup turned on, you can find photos on your computer that you took on your mobile device. To create a local copy on your computer, download your photo or video. Learn more about backup.

Tip: To move all your photos to a different Google Account, download all your photos and upload them to the new Google Account in Google Photos. Learn how to add photos and videos to Google Photos.

I've been using Affinity Photo on the same computer for a couple of years and would like to install it on a second computer, thus having two to use. I did a search on the subject but it didn't find anything. Both computers are Win 10. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks to both of you for the replies. I'm happy that I can download and install Affinity Photo to a second computer that I own and isn't used for any commercial activity. However, I cannot find how to do the download and installation. The instructions that I found simply don't work in this case. I do not have the original order invoice after all this time but do have the order number, product key, password, and user name from when i originally purchased and installed Affinity Photo on my first computer. If anyone can point me in the right direction of download and install Affinity Photo on my second computer I would be grateful.

Is it possible to view photos on a computer screen immediately after while I'm shooting? I have the cord to attach camera to laptop, but have not been able to view until I do a download. My camera is a Rebel XT 350D.

if picture.jpg is in your local server's webroot folder. You can do this for any site if you open your browser's developer tools and change the img element's src attribute to the local server's URL for the image. If you have access to the HTML of your site, then change it there. But obviously if someone not on your local computer/server accesses the site, they will get a broken image unless they happen to be running a local server as well and have an image with the same filename, which would be weird.

I checked the CPU and GPU with several Benchmark tools, also with OCCT (temperature and voltage), nothing happend during run. I browsed the internet and became aware of an article on IgorsLab, where he talked about load peaks and the effect on the power supplies. I suspected that it could be the power supply, however when the power supply shuts down, this then requires the switch on the power supply to be operated or de-energized to be able to turn the computer back on.(this is not necessary in my case).

Solution/Workaround:

And then last, I changed the power options in Windows 11 from Balanced to Max. Performance. And the result was no more sudden shutdown of the computer.

Switch back to Balanced, the power off happend again.

It was 50 years ago this spring that National Bureau of Standards (NBS, now known as the National Institute of Standards and Technology, or NIST) computer pioneer Russell Kirsch asked "What would happen if computers could look at pictures?" and helped start a revolution in information technology. Kirsch and his colleagues at NBS, who had developed the nation's first programmable computer, the Standards Eastern Automatic Computer (SEAC), created a rotating drum scanner and programming that allowed images to be fed into it. The first image scanned was a head-and-shoulders shot of Kirsch's three-month-old son Walden.

Note:  Connection through a USB hub or other USB devices, such as printers or keyboards, is not supported and operation isn't guaranteed. Connect the camera directly to a USB port on the computer.

I create my listing and use a generic photo. (could be of anything) on my desktop computer. I don't like listing on my iphone. Then I go back into the listing on my iphone and upload the correct photos. (don't mind doing that) I have found that to be fast. But in the past week or so, it is taking longer for my listings to appear on my iphone. They used to show up instantly and are now taking several minutes to appear.

I use google photos. When I take a photo on my phone, it automatically backs it up to cloud. Then from pc, I download the photos I want to use. Because phone and pc are linked, when I delete a photo on my pc, it also deletes the photo on my phone. And vice versa, deleting photo on phone, deletes photo in cloud.

I use a camera and connect it to my computer with the cord and upload them. I have a file name for each day and have written down the item and the date in a perpetual calendar so I can go back to the photos if I need them. I have photos from 2014-now. It would be the same for my phone.

Many of my photos are on my desktop so I just load the pic from the computer. For those that I have taken pictures of, I create the draft listing on the computer and then finish it on my tablet (I don't use a phone) by inserting the photos from my gallery. Either way, I'm inserting pics from the device I'm using. I'm finding the lag is about the same.

I use a Ipad tablet to take the photos. Often I will start the ad on the tablet with a simple title like STAR WARS FIGURE just to get the correct category and then I load the photos in the order that I want. I crop them on the tablet too since it's faster than the desktop ever since this new stupid listing tool started. I click save. Then when I go to the desktop, I have about 2- listings already loaded with the photos. Using the example above, I will then tweak the title to Vintage Star Wars Luke Skywalker from Power of the Force. I fill in the rest of the listing. This combination of tablet and desktop is the fastest way that I list.

If you folks are going to buy a tablet buy the one with the highest space to store photos. I keep my photos at least 4 months before I delete. Buy a quality tablet too. My tablet takes better photos than the camera I used to have.
