I've followed all of the instructions and my TV is not showing up on the "PC on TV - Easy Connection" app installed on my PC, nor is my PC showing up on my TV for the "Easy Connection to Screen". I am able to connect via Screen Sharing and Remote PC options with the same PC. I can also connect my Galaxy S10 to with Dex and Smart View with no issues. I say this because it may give you some clues to my network settings that may help diagnose my issue. I know I can use the other two methods, but I'm hoping that this will help someone else having the same issue. I can't find any logs or relevant info/data coming from the app to debug the issue. Here is a screenshot from the app on my PC. Please advise.

EDIT: it's been a almost 3 months... If I didn't like my current software engineer job so much, I would quit, get hired here, just to debug the issue or fix the bug myself, and then walk out of that job too. I am going to send the Samsung Team a link to this message and see if they address the issue.

sounds stupid I know but double-check your tv is logged into the same Samsung account as on your computer. I was having the same issue and it turned out to be the TV had logged out of my Samsung account without me knowing.

Having support remote into your television can help too, I know a guy that called in and got walked through some settings on the tv and then given steps for the computer and they got it up and running.

I've got the same thing. It worked the first time around and then the second time I tried to connect it's just stuck on that. The TV gives me the "unable to connect" error and the laptop displays the same screenshot as above. Both devices are on the same Samsung account. It even shows that the connection was successful previously under the TV Connection Record on the Windows app. So it worked once and now it just doesn't? I even made sure that the software was up to date and it is.

In this type of situation it sounds like a good idea to establish a fresh connection between the camera and phone. Before starting a new connection I recommend a couple of things. I would first uninstall the Canon Camera Connect App from your smartphone, reboot the phone, and then re-install the App. This will make sure the the App is completely uninstalled and latest version of the App is installed fresh.

I would then go to the Wi-Fi option in the 3rd Setup (yellow wrench) section of the camera's menu, and set Wi-Fi to disable. After disabling the Wi-Fi turn the camera OFF then back ON. Now go back to the Wi-Fi option in the menu and enable it.

Now select the Wi-Fi function option in the menu and choose the Connect to smartphone icon to begin the connection again. If the Connect to smartphone screen shows "Choose Set." and "Review/Change settings", pick the review change settings option to go through the setup process again. If the Connection method screen appears choose the "Camera access point mode" option and proceed through the setup instructions on the camera.

I have a G7x mark 1 and and iPhone SE running iOS 12.1.4. Camera Connect has been working fine for at least a year but has now stopped working (possibly with the latest iPhone OS upgrade). Now the iPhone recognises the camera WiFi in settings but the camera will not find the iPhone. I have been through the business of deleting the app, rebooting the phone and reinstalling the app (2.0.0) and also 'resetting' the WiFi on the camera it still will not connect. Help please. This has been a very useful app and I am dismayed that it now does not work.

I am having the same frustrations. The app worked the first time i used it and when I tried to use it the next day it said no camera was found. I tried all of the suggestions with no luck. It is insane that this app doesn't work.

Tried the above solution, I don't know if something changed with that application, but on my R5, Bluetooth works fine; trying to connect to Wi-Fi easy mode (Android), it just endlessly never connects. The phone tries, and the camera see's it trying, but it never connects. Absolutely frustrating.

Let's try clearing all wireless communication settings to start. In your WIFI menu #2, you will find reset communication settings. I have included a link to help walk you through the process, step-by-step.

If you would like to have someone walk through the process with you, please contact our Technical Support Team at 1-800-652-2666, Monday through Friday between 9:00 am to 9:00 pm ET and Saturday between 9:00 am to 7:00 pm ET.

I need help with this sudden issue with my Desktop PC. The screen turned off momentarily on it's own then it came back up. Programs are openning very slowly. Images also taking a long time to open as well. Deleting a file or right clicking context menu also very slow. I have done the following in order to remedy the issues on hand:

you could install the Open Source Hardware monitor to check your systems internal temperatures.. CPU's throttle themselves down when they start to get overheated in order to keep the system running and hopefully the cooling system can cool the system enough. Temperatures higher than the mid 70's C will cause this.

That's quite unfortunate to happen like that. Since you've already tried about every software related fix attempt, it may be a hardware related issue. The screen that went off could point to the video card. Can you describe what kind of PC this is? Is it custom built or a standard PC from a certain brand like HP, Dell or Lenovo? Can you describe the components in the PC or in case of a standard PC the brand, type and options when applicable?

It is a standard PC. ASUS G10AJ. I just replaced my Samsung 29" Monitor that I had all along with a Samsung 32" Smart Monitor Mode No. LS32BM702UNXGO. There is Easy Connection App that had to be installed as well. Also, Easy Connection to screen. I am trying to see how to take a screen capture of the memory in the Task Manager and send it to you. I had installed UWT, PC Manager by Microsoft, and HD Cleaner. I want to also, uninstall them and see if that makes a difference.

Another attempt for help. I appreciate your suggestion but without further details on how to go about what you suggested it does not mean much to me as once again I am not very familiar on how to purse the testing tool suggestion.

This another screen capture of the Task Manager after Uninstalling Real Player. There is still Brave showing as high memory though! When I click on Revo Uninstaller for some reason it takes me to the desktop showing only wallpaper and then after a few minutes it opens up Revo that is. 152ee80cbc
