What are quick invoices?

Quick invoices let you send easy, professional payment requests on your mobile phone. They streamline invoice creation so you can quickly share a link to an invoice with your customer. Your customer will still get a professional invoice, including your default business information.

How do I schedule recurring invoices?

You can set invoices to repeat weekly, monthly, yearly, or at a custom interval. When you start a recurring series of invoices, the customer will immediately receive the first invoice. (You also can schedule the recurring series to start at a future date.) The following invoices in the series will be issued around 7:00 AM in your time zone according to a frequency that you set.

This scam begins with phishing email that contains a PayPal invoice for a fake purchase. The invoices for this scam may be generated in PayPal by the scammers, so while the purchase is fake, clicking on the links in the scam invoice may actually transfer payment via PayPal. The invoice claims that the recipient has successfully made a purchase through PayPal for $219. Note that in some cases the amount and supposed purchase could vary. This scam is being seen widely and has been reported by other institutions and in the media.

I did a quick test with the create invoice sample, changing the id and secret in the configure.js to those my app in sandbox. I get the 401 when this happens as well. The app is setup to allow invoice actions (it's in the scope parameter when I request the token), is there something else I need to enable?

I just got off the phone with support for the same issue. I'm a freelance writer and have a longstanding account as does my client, with whom I've been working for almost a decade. A month or so ago this became a problem. The alert won't let him view my invoices let alone pay them.

Support says it's a known issue and you can submit a merchant ticket at www.paypalsupport.com for customized support. I'm not sure if it will do much good. Otherwise, she recommended doing a funds request. These workarounds are less than ideal if you use the invoices for documenting and taxes.

Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! I'm glad you reached out about this. While it's true, PayPal has tightened a few strings regarding the sending of invoices lately, we would not allow one to be sent and then flag it after the fact. If there was something off about the invoice, PayPal would not allow it to be sent.

Need some guidance, i have read some articles about this but still not sure, I am selling used Macpro 15 for 1300$ and there is a buyer who asking to pay it via Paypal invoice, I am not sure if this is legal since it is out of ebay and if it isn't a Scam. How should i proceed with it. Buyer have 160 positive feedback review and looks trust worthy but why is he not using pay it now button? And If i sell via Paypal invoice my account gets suspended from selling items?

Quite frequently, when a scammer wants to get something, they will ask for an invoice because they will then get your e-mail address and they can then send a fake PayPal notice that 'you've got cash' and it will be released as soon as you upload tracking to prove the item has been shipped. There really isn't any money. Always, if you should send an invoice, check your account - by logging in live to PayPal - to see if there is actually any money there. ebay doesn't like sending an invoice because it takes the sale off site and they don't get paid, either, and it is against policy.

With the Wise Business account, you can get major account details for a one-off fee, to receive invoice payments like a local. For example, you can get UK account details, even as a US citizen. This means your customers can pay directly in their own currency. You can then keep, convert, and manage your currencies - all from the same account. This can help you receive international invoice payments faster.

If you use invoicing software, such as QuickBooks, you can also add your Wise account details to the invoice to get paid with ease. Your bill payments and any other Wise transactions will be synced, matched and categorized in QuickBooks for simple reconciliation.

I'm using "Express Checkout". I have several sites - a few dev instances and one UAT - both connected to a PayPal sandbox. Sometimes when I step to the "payment" checkout step Drupal errors and the Apache error log contains "Payment request to PayPal failed. Response: Duplicate invoice".

I think the culprit is line 579 in ExpressCheckout::setExpressCheckout() where PAYMENTREQUEST_0_INVNUM is set to $order->id(). With several sites - e.g. dev or UAT - order numbers are going to overlap between instances (e.g. we're going to get order number "3" twice, once on dev and once on UAT). PayPal - even in sandbox mode - then complains that it's seen invoice number "3" twice.

I think the fix might just be to set PAYMENTREQUEST_0_INVNUM to $order->uuid() instead of $order->id(), since the UUID be unique across all instances. I'm not sure if there's anywhere in the code where that invoice number is used to e.g. lookup an order by ID though.

You can create a customizable invoice by filling in information for clients, items, prices, due dates, or any other additional information, though some users may find the customization lacking. After you finish this, the invoice is shown as a preview, and then it can be sent immediately or scheduled for a later time.

PayPal Invoice allows customers to customize their invoices fully. Customers can upload their company logo or any other images, customize font type and size and add more information. Should you not customize your template, PayPal creates invoices according to the default template.

Moreover, PayPal invoicing allows customers to generate estimates and send them to clients. Estimates are created with the same template as an invoice. Then, they are sent to the client for approval. If the client approves the estimate, it is automatically converted into an invoice.

PayPal's main functions are online payments and creating connections to a bank account. PayPal allows customers to get paid quickly as 75% of PayPal invoices are paid within a day. Moreover, it allows users to request money from a client. PayPal also allows customers to ask for a short-term loan through PayPal credit. PayPal Credit offers a 6 monthly loan to meet short-term cash needs.

PayPal shows the latest inflows and outflows of money in the dashboard so that users can visualize the latest cash movements. Moreover, PayPal invoicing allows customers to create a CSV file that contains all invoices generated, that can be exported to Excel. This makes it easier to manage invoices and receivables.

While PayPal allows the creation of exportable Excel files that can be easily analyzed, the amount of reports that can be generated in the app is limited. Other than the possibility to set up an Excel invoice tracker, users can access business insights, statements, financial summaries, dispute and chargeback reports, transaction reports, and tax documents.

In addition, it can be integrated with Xero and Quickbooks, two leading accounting software that allows small businesses to manage inventory, receivables, payables, and payrolls. Moreover, it can also be integrated with Invoice2go and Recurly to send professional invoices and recurring invoices. PayPal also supports integration with other software such as Zoho, allowing users to link their PayPal account to more services.

As most small businesses use PayPal as a means to get paid faster online and in different currencies, PayPal can be integrated with eCommerce and online marketplaces such as Shopify, Etsy, or eBay to easily create invoices and receive money seamlessly.

Our score on features is 2/5. While it is easy to create and send invoices and receive payment, PayPal does not offer many features in terms of accounting, project management, or reporting. While it is possible to integrate PayPal invoices with a large array of third-party services, other software might offer even more integrations on top of better features. ff782bc1db
