Additionally, those who still had pending invites when they went offline will still see those invites waiting when they come back online. Other features of this upcoming patch include more foiled unique items, targeting behavior updates, and another long list of bug fixes.

I mean, sure, your internet is probably fine right now, but there are other circumstances where offline games are useful: visiting friends and family with dodgy wifi, moving house and waiting for a new connection, even the classic example of plane flights (now we can actually take them again).

Most launchers have an offline mode, allowing you to start them without internet access, but even so, not all games will run if they don't have a connection. Most games will also need to be launched at least once with a connection present to work.

Capcom's monster-slaying RPG may not seem like it would work offline, but it does. Of course, you'll have to take monsters down without the help of friends, but if nothing else, it's an excellent way to vent some of that frustration at your connection woes.

Hogwarts Legacy will not let you do that because while the disc installs 30 GB of game, it needs approximately another 60 GB as a download patch. You cannot go any further until that patch is installed. If you stay offline, the game will not let you play any further. So if you are buying the game as a present, we would recommend you set the game up the night before.

Once you have installed that patch, you can then go offline with the game any time you like. If your internet cuts out, you will not be kicked out of the game. So you can play Hogwarts Legacy offline, but if you bought a physical copy, you will need to download a very big patch first.

Like almost every MMORPG they require you to be online and offline play is not a feature. POE is no exception and there is absolutely no functionality for offline play in the game. POE is exclusively an online-only game.

Im having the same problem. Purchased the game yesterday to play with my brother. Im on PC and he is on xbox. Brother shows as offline when he is online. He receives invites but is unable to join. This has been going on for 2 days.

Offline party members will show the last known character that was online, and once logged back in, they will still be in the party as expected unless they switched character. If you had any pending invites before you went offline, they will still be present once you log back into the game.
