Countdown Pages are dedicated spaces for artists to build anticipation for new albums. On Countdown Pages, fans can watch exclusive video clips, pre-save the upcoming release, preview the track list, and watch the timer count down to the release moment.

My hope is that I can add a window in my dashboard that shows the number of minutes and seconds left in the playlist so they can be ready to switch to the next source as the XP studio playlist comes to an end. Right now they have to switch between viewing the XP window for the countdown and the Dashboard window to click the next button.

Pick one and drop it in your panel. It should be blank by default (if your clip is not playing). If you play a clip in XP, you will see this value change. It only updates once per second, or when the state changes. But it gives you a rough value for the remaining time. You can also search for "duration", and find the clip durations.

With those 2 parameters, you should be able to figure out how much time is remaining in one clip. You can use other parmaters (like the "group" and "state" parameters to find all the clips in your whole group, and figure out how much time is remaining in the whole group).

I first create a new track, copy the clip there, and then I adjust the speed. And when it is perfect, I create a new track at the bottom and move the original video to that track and than add the speed adjusted video to the track I want. And then I turn the view off for the bottom track and lock it. So I have access to both the clips.

Hello Dan,

Of course I had already discovered and read your text. I scare very much because I see how little I understand, unfortunately.

Please allow me to ask: Can I increase the speed (of a clip of a conversation, for example) with Time remap at one point without reducing the speed at other points? Then only the total length should be reduced. Can Time remap do that?

I am making great progress with Time remap. I can now reduce speed in the middle of a clip. Unfortunately, it then increases the speed in other places. How to avoid this?

And then I still manage to bring everything to 100% except for the desired spot. Now comes the big question: How should it be possible to play back a passage slower in between with a constant clip length of e.g. 15 sec. without making the clip longer? A miracle?

You described the problems perfectly. A clip with slow-motion in the middle needs to be made longer to accommodate the slow part. Also, the part after the slow-motion section will play faster than 1x speed to make up for lost time.

For this example, I want the #5 in the countdown to take three seconds instead of one second. I put the playhead at the beginning of the #5 section, add a keyframe at the playhead, and note that #5 started at the 4;00 input timestamp in the Properties panel.

Now I advance the playhead by three seconds. I want this to be the end of #5 and the beginning of #4 in the countdown. But it currently shows #2 because the video is playing at 1x speed. So I drop a keyframe here and change the input time to be 5;00 (which is an advancement of only one second since the last keyframe). As we can see in the Keyframes graph, we have a flatter spot on the graph that represents the slower passage of time.

Resetting a clipping mask turns out to be a bit "unstable", ie. setting a new path and a rectangle that covers the entire canvas. So the better choice in this case for the moment is to rely on the save/restore approach to reset it:

The Warm Up section says that items in there will play only once but I have a countdown video in there and under the Settings Tab, the options for "When the clip ends" are greyed out with the "Loop Continuously" option selected with no way to change it.

In fact, when you have a video in any of the non-Service sections (such as Warm Up), the video will play once and then move on. This is the only allowed behavior for a video in a non-Service section. The settings for "When the clip ends" are disabled when the video is moved out of the Service section, and we do not respect whatever option is selected.

I have a pre-service loop that runs and then at 5 minutes until the service time, the Warm up countdown runs. The only other thing in the warmup section after the countdown is a single slide that says "Let's Stand". I want the countdown to complete and then go to that slide but the countdown completes and then starts over again. I will add that I have tested this before and it has worked correctly before but lately it has not been working.

I dont have the computer we used this weekend when it did not work. I just tried locally and it worked so I am not sure what the issues but ever since we started using Proclaim (3 weeks now) it has always started repeating the countdown

Okay. This past Sunday we did not skip ahead and let it run normally and it repeated. But I also had a problem with it recognizing the start time and it kept trying to start the countdown too early. I will see if it does it again this week and if so, i will make sure to get the logs off the church computer and will re post them here. Other than these few hiccups, it has been working pretty good.

Screen Rant is thrilled to present an exclusive new clip from the upcoming thriller Follow Her. The movie centers around Jess, who builds a following through secretly filming clients from online job listings, but things go wrong after she's hired to finish a screenplay at a remote cabin. Follow Her was written by lead actress Dani Barker, who stars alongside The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Luke Cook, Alaska Daily's Mark Moses, and Northern Rescue's Eliana Jones.

Screen Rant's clip centers around a scene where Jess has clearly realized the job she was hired for is much more than she signed up for. Having previously played Lucifer himself in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Cook is no stranger to playing someone evil, which really comes through in this scene. Although the clip starts with Tom being tied to a bed, it's clear escape is easy for him, counting down from upstairs as Jess tries to escape. Once he reaches one, Tom ominously says, "Here I come," just as the lights go out.

Beyonc has an affinity for recalling the past in her videos -- from the "Mexican Breakfast" Bob Fosse/Gwen Verdon routine that inspired the "Single Ladies" video to her tortured '50s homemaker character in "Why Don't You Love Me" -- and her latest clip for the horn-heavy "Countdown" jam is no exception.

The pregnant diva's baby bump is less visible in the bathing suit scenes but is featured prominently earlier in the clip and is rubbed lovingly later in a scene that features 10 different incarnations of Beyonc in a loft space. The visibility of Beyonc's pregnancy varies throughout the video, indicating she likely shot a great deal of the footage for "Countdown" earlier in her pregnancy and more recently re-shot or re-conceptualized the clip to reflect her growing belly.

Viewers also see that even pregnancy can't stop Beyonc from dancing. The clip cuts quickly from the bathing suit sequence to shots of the star in an audition space straight out of the film "Fame." The sequence features the kind of seamlessly choreographed moves that Beyonc is famous for -- moves that would be at home in an early-'80s dance film or onstage in 2011.

The "Countdown" clip is loaded with other references as well, including a wink to "West Side Story" as dancers snap in unison and a nod to Bridget Bardot when the video cuts to and from shots of Beyonc in a men's dress shirt with her hair styled up with a scarf.

The clip then sequences from "Fame" to "Flashdance," with Beyonc and her dancers in another open warehouse-like space sporting the iconic off-the-shoulder look from the 1983 drama starring Jennifer Beals.

The video ends with the superstar in a chair, grooving to her uptempo track. Throughout the clip, which bubbles with excitement, she is all smiles, perhaps reflecting her joy at beginning a new phase in her life.
