Okey Dokey is a cooperative game that forces players to communicate with one another without oversharing. Players cannot share information about the numerical values of the cards in their hand or show other players their cards.

Basically, my girlfriend thinks the proper way to spell it is okey dokey, whilst I believe it is spelt Okie dokie. We've messaged our friends and received a very broad range of responses on how to spell it. My question for you guys is how do you spell it? Is it one of those two or a completely different way?

okey dokey . You can compare if you go onto the RSPB-Homepage ---- Birds & Wildlife ---- Birds by name. Look after Blue Tit and Great Tit and you will have the opportunity to listen to the birdsong on the corresponding page.

This is called "reduplication" and rhyming reduplication is quite common casual English "super-duper, easy-peasy" The word "dokey" is just a modified version of "okay" with an arbitary "d" attached to it.

In terms of meaning it is just a very casual and silly form of "okay". You can't reply to "Do you agree, or not?" with "Okay". You need "Yes" or "No". (I suppose you could say "Okay, I agree".) "Okey-dokey" is silly talk, unless you are being deliberately silly, I'd suggest not using it at all.

Okey Dokey is an engaging and beguilingly difficult co-operative game from Hayashi-san, the principal behind Okazu games. He has also designed games such as Lost Legacy, Rolling Japan, Minerva, Yokohama and Sail to India which all find themselves in my permanent game collection. Like many of the best designers, his games seem to run the gamut as far as styles and mechanisms.

Its first stores opened less than a year ago around the Miami area, but local sources described a difficult time introducing its concept to the market. Okey-Dokey stores featured a limited assortment of branded grocery items with an emphasis on sharp pricing and convenient locations.

I actually really enjoyed making them: they were very satisfying to put together, and corduroy is easy to sew. I used the Okey Dokey Overalls pattern from the Peek a Boo Pattern Company, which is really excellent, with a couple of spots that could be explained better: the placement of the buttons and button tabs (I just had to guess) and the placement of the straps on the back accent.

It is a normal day in Smurf Village as Smurfette greets Grouchy, to which Grouchy replies with "Me, I don't like beautiful days". Suddenly, the Smurfs go to the Village Bell, which is being rung by Brainy. He tells everyone that he has to assign chores to everyone. As everyone is assigned chores, Brainy goes to Grouchy and tells him he will have to clean the snails' stables. Grouchy says he doesn't like stables. When Brainy assigns him collecting nuts, he says he doesn't like collecting. Brainy is annoyed and signs Jokey on both snail stables and nuts. Jokey tries to protest, but Brainy already leaves. Jokey is mad at Grouchy because he doesn't like anything, but this gives him an idea.

Grouchy is busy grouching at his bench as Clumsy cleans around with a broom. He stops at Grouchy's foot, but Grouchy says he doesn't like lifting his feet up. Clumsy goes the other way, but the broom gets stuck. He asks Grouchy for help, but he says he doesn't like brooms. Clumsy pulls the broom and it falls on top of a house. He asks for help again, but Grouchy says he doesn't like help. Jokey sneaks up on him and puts the potion on him. When Clumsy tries to get the broom, he almost falls. He asks for help once again, but this time Grouchy replies with "Okey-dokey!" and brings Clumsy's broom back to him. Clumsy is thankful and walks away. Grouchy is confused as Jokey shows up and tells him now he's gonna say yes to everything. He commands Grouchy to bring some nuts. He refuses but says "Okey-dokey!" and says he doesn't like to obey.

Later, Grouchy brings several nuts to him as Jokey sits on a chair and slurps his drink. Jokey commands him to clean up the snails. Grouchy says "Okey-dokey!" again and later, the snails are being cleaned. Farmer is quite impressed. Jokey is happy because now, they get to have some fun. Grouchy responds by throwing the stables onto Jokey's head.

Grouchy is mad at Jokey and says he doesn't like his jokes. Jokey doesn't care and asks him to give Chef a present. Grouchy gets so mad that he yells "Okey-dokey!" (And the sound is so loud that Bigmouth can hear it). Grouchy goes to Chef, who is making a pizza for Greedy. Grouchy comes and gives Chef the present. It explodes, which becomes even worse when the pizza gets overcooked. Jokey laughs so hard that he falls into the village well - right as Chef gets mad at Grouchy for ruining the pizza. Grouchy says he doesn't like burnt pizza, so Chef gets mad and says he should try some of Gargamel's nasty soup. Grouchy responds with "Okey-dokey!" and runs off. As Chef comforts an upset Greedy, Jokey gets out of the village well and asks if they have seen Grouchy anywhere, to which Chef angrily replies he sent him to Gargamel. Jokey yells "WHAT?!".

In Gargamel's hovel, Gargamel sips some soup as Azrael wants some. Gargamel refuses, saying if he wants something, he should hunt a Smurf. Just then, they see Grouchy as he has eaten all the soup. He tries to leave, but he is caught by Gargamel. He then puts him in a cage and is going to prepare for his next meal. Jokey arrives and sneaks in as Grouchy keeps saying "Okey-dokey!", much to Gargamel's chagrin. Jokey opens Grouchy's cage and tells him to leave with him. Grouchy refuses to listen. Jokey attempts to apologize, but he still doesn't listen. Azrael hears them and tries to get Jokey, but accidentally lets Grouchy out. He tries to leave again, but Gargamel commands him to come back and he does. Gargamel is impressed because he got an obedient Smurf. Gargamel believes this is a trick, so he messes around with him and realizes this is an opportunity to lead him to the village. Jokey worries about this and plans to stop them.

In the forest, Grouchy, Gargamel, and Azrael walk to the village. Gargamel cackles at his new stroke of luck and is ready for all of the Smurfs to be his. As Jokey follows, Azrael smells something, but the smell is gone, so he keeps walking. Jokey tells Grouchy to go the other way, to which he responds with "Okey-dokey!". Azrael notices he went into the log Jokey was in. He tries to tell Gargamel, but he won't listen. Gargamel cries about the loss of his obedient Smurf while Azrael keeps attempting to tell him. He still won't listen and cries out for his Smurf. Grouchy is about to walk to Gargamel, but Jokey is stopping him. He gets him to turn around. Jokey and Gargamel keep sending Grouchy one way and another until Jokey tells him to go back to the village with his hands on his ears. Jokey prepares to deal with Gargamel. As the latter cries about his Smurf, Jokey arrives and says "Okey-dokey!". Azrael sniffs him while Gargamel commands him to take him to the village. Later, Jokey tricks both of them into walking onto a zip line. When Gargamel yells he wants to get down, Jokey responds with "Okey-dokey!", which sends them both down and into the bottom of a ravine. Jokey laughs at them and heads back to the village.

Later, back in the village, Jokey asks Grouchy if he is mad. Grouchy says he doesn't like getting bossed around, but forgives him, saying he doesn't like fighting with his friends. However, Grouchy gets back at Jokey by spraying some of the potion to make him say "Okey-dokey!". His first command is to open his gag box. Jokey nervously responds "Okey-dokey" and the box explodes. Grouchy simply smiles.

We once used Charlie Sotos/Okey Dokey Tours MANY years ago and would love to go with them again when we are in Costa Rica in December. Getting hold of them via email posted on their less-than-updated-website has proved futile and I'm wondering if they are still in business. Has anyone used them recently?

The Rugrats go to a unique pet shop that features monkeys and tropical birds. While they are there, Grandpa Lou gives the kids some prizes from the gumball machine. Lil gets a shiny red ring she calls "The Ring of the Sunbeams", which Angelica desperately wants. When Lil's ring is accidentally thrown into one of the monkey cages, it causes the Rugrats to go on a quest as the Okey Dokey Jones Adventure Squad. Will they find the ring before Angelica does? - Description from Klasky Csupo

Grandpa and the Rugrats take a trip to a store that specializes in tropical pets, as Grandpa was interested in buying a talking bird for Lulu. After Grandpa buys those little toys out of the gum machine for the Rugrats, Tommy gets a yo-yo, Chuckie gets a magnifying glass, Kimi gets a compass, Phil gets a flashlight, and Lil gets a toy ring, which was called "the Ring Of The Sunbeams", a ring that's so special, that Angelica wants it all for herself because she's not happy with the army man toy she got, but Lil refused to give her the ring which that made her mad. When the ring lands in a monkey cage, this otherwise-simple trip becomes a Rugrats adventure, when the Rugrats, a.k.a. "The Okey-Dokey Jones Adventurers", pretend that they are battling a villainess named "Miss Angelique", played by... you know who. Miss Angelique wants that ring, as she believes that it will grant her her wish -- to be the boss of the world.

Okey Dokey is the evolution of what The Game brought to the gaming world just a few years ago. The puzzle presented of placing the card values in ascending order by each vibrant color is interesting and difficult. It plays well with all players counts and while the experience is different from solo to group play, both are still very enjoyable. Okey Dokey is a great game to bring to social gatherings where you can play games quickly and watch as people struggle to communicate the cards in their hand. It is one I will be keeping in my collection for a long time. ff782bc1db
