I must admit that even though generally I am a responsible health-conscious adult (giggle!), I allow myself some guilty pleasures from time to time, because it makes me feel good and if I feel good it affects everything I do. They said "wait for the new catalogue. You'll love it!" They announced the rewards were going away ahead of time and then boasted a new catalogue..only to ONLY have coupons for diapers and for stores I don't go to. They took off all gift cards, Amazon, restaurants, clothing stores. On their website it still currently boasts "get rewards for you and your baby." Mommy don't wear diapers..I'm pretty annoyed the rewards went away and now it's just buy more Pampers diapers or wipes and input all these codes to slowly get money only to do it all over again. They took out the reward aspect of it in my opinion.

I don't think I'll ever find someone with the resilient spirit of my mother. She's a patient woman, and the portrait of love and sacrifice. The selflessness she exhibits against the rampant selfishness around her is such an inspiration. How she can bring herself to just ignore the nonsense is amazing. I couldnt. It angers me just seeing her not get what she deserves. How it hurts me to see the little expressions of sadness in her, when the negative forces manage to force a crack, to make her feel unappreciated. I only wish I had the means to give her everything, the woman who, for years, sacrificed every penny, robbing herself of any pleasures, just to get my sister and me through school. She's given herself so many times to people who take it for granted. Her heart is just so vast that she can't help but allow people to build their own world's within it, and like humans do, abu se it. I want to give her back the times she devoted to making sure we experienced the happiest times kids could. I hope she feels the love I felt from her. She's beautiful and amazing, and she's one of my best friends. We have our laughs, our little spats, our cries. The connection we have is something I share with no one else. Happy Mother's Day, mom.

Think of mornings as your special one-on-one time with your kid. (A word to the wise: babies are usually in a better mood in the morning than during those evening, post-work witching hours.)

I know moms having their second and third kids (or more) have this mastered much faster than I did as a new mom, but it may take several months to learn how to multitask, how to adjust to your new sleep situation, and to figure out how to time grocery store outings with naps, feeds, and diaper explosions.

I think cruises are worthy if you are taking a river cruise (no other way, correct), either in Europe, the Yangtsee, the Amazon, the Mekong, etc. Cruises are also perfect as people mentioned if you go to Antarctica or Alaska, but one area that hardly no one has mentioned is that high-end Cruises are something completely different, starting from the size of your room, and everything free inside (of course, you already pay with the high cost of the ticket for those high-class amenities). Traditional big ships lines such as Carnival, Holland, etc. can be quite claustrophobic after a while, being also a pain the distances you have to walk to go to the pool, the restaurant, the casino, etc. I have taken only one cruise for a week to the Caribbean, it was fun, and was enough for 10 years. Hopefully the next one will be to a place like the ones mentioned in the beginning of my comment. I rather travel in a different mode of transportation, where you can either plan your trip or travel ans stop wherever you want for the time you want.

As an avid R/C model airplane, boat and car guy I do know that many advances in battery technology have drastically improved the performance and ease of use for battery powered toys. Namely Lithium based cell technology which has allowed much more power from less weight. However, to me, the thought of adding all that headache about how and when to charge and pamper your batteries to the toy train hobby is a buzzkill. ff782bc1db
