This video will show you how to configure a SharePoint integration in your Nintex Workflow Cloud environment. Before you can upgrade Nintex for Office 365 workflows to Nintex Workflow Cloud, you must integrate your SharePoint Online environment with your Nintex Workflow Cloud environment. A SharePoint Integration enables your Nintex Workflow Cloud environment to work with the Nintex for Office 365 app installed in your SharePoint tenant, site collection, or site.

I will be also explaining how to add Nintex workflow for office 365 to SharePoint Online. And then I will explain how to send E-mail with attachments to external users using the Nintex workflow for office 365.

Step 4: Once you have added the app to Office 365, it will be available for you to add to your SharePoint sites just like you would add other apps in SharePoint. For Nintex workflow app go to SharePoint Settings menu->click on Site Contents.

I've opened/closed the workflow, opened/closed the start event, clicked the start events connection refresh button, clicked the start events retrieve lists button, changed the start event list & then changed it back... none of these things seem to do anything... am I missing something?

After building out most of my workflow, I had to add a new column/field to the list that's used in my start event to trigger the workflow... after adding it though, the start event & the 'Update item' actions in my workflow weren't showing the new field that was added to the list...

Eventually the new field showed up though... I'm pretty sure it happened after I switched the 'Start Event > Event' option from "SharePoint - New or update item" to "SharePoint - New list item", and then back to "SharePoint - New or update item"... this doesn't seem like an ideal way to get the list values to refresh though... as it temporarily break all the actions in the workflow... luckily everything was fine after I switched the 'Event' back to what it was initially.

Ctrl+Shift+R resolved a related issue I had for this. I was using a workflow action for a document library and clicked the "Retrieve Lists" button in the workflow action assuming my newly created document library would appear. When I clicked the Ctrl+Shift+R button (after saving my workflow) then the newly created document library all of a sudden appeared in the list.

Good UI design would dictate that if a user clicks on the "Retrieve Lists" button in any of these workflow actions, that NWC actually does a real-time query of the names of the lists and libraries in the connection. Clearly, it's not doing that and is instead just pulling up some cached list that doesn't update itself.

I have about 2000 people that use a workflow (soon to be more as we expand to the whole department). There is no way to keep track of who comes and goes for bureau chiefs and various approvers in my workflow unless they notify me.

Is there any way to verify if a user is still valid in the workflow? Sharepoint still keeps their info as an entry so if it went blank that would be easy but it doesn't.... I tried a profile query but it errors and tried to look for something else but I don't see anything. If the invalid user gets assigned a task or has his profile queried then the workflow errors.

I deleted all the items in the sharepoint list, and it did indeed become faster. The hangup is the time the trigger gets "triggered". I initially thought it was due to the 5-minute check by Microsoft Flow API, so I am not really sure.
