About a week ago there was a system update that I accepted. Ever since then I have not been able to get the music widget to appear from the lock screen. I have gone into the settings>Lock Screen>Widgets and I've made sure the Music button is lit up as "on". I've toggled it on and off and have restarted the phone multiple times in each position. The other widgets aren't working either, but it's primarily the music that I need to have fixed.

So, I've had an S10+ for 6 or 7 months and it's worked perfectly. Since a month or so it's suddenly started to beep every two or three seconds when I'm listening to music on a Bluetooth device. I've googled this and found the usual answers, the headset is connecting, the connection is bad, batteries are low and so on. I've investigated all these common solutions to no avail.

I lean towards something on my phone since it occurs on any headset; an app, a warning sound for listening to music too loud for too long or something like that. But I haven't found anything. I've uninstalled apps that I think could have anything to do with it, made sure the headset is charged and have a good connection. It happens at any location, so I'd think environmental disturbances to the Bluetooth radio is eliminated.

It gets even stranger. It happened earlier today and I stopped listening to music (on Spotify). Later, several hours, I was at a restaurant and increased the media volume, and now the beeping continues on the phone itself. Even now when I'm back home it continues.

Hi I have an S10+ also and a friend of mine has a S10 but he never gets this problem but I have the same problem and most times I am just obligated to restart my phone so it can stop it mostly only happens when I'm listening to music via my earpiece

Listen to all kinds of music with Samsung Music, a great music player that supports, MP3, WMA, AAC and FLAC files. Not only that, but this app will instantly detect, import and organize all the music on your device.

Samsung Music has all the features you could wish for in a great Android music player, including lock screen controls and the ability to create playlists. This app also has an equalizer you can use to customize the playback.

Recently my Watch got an update. Since then the Watch has trouble showing the music player I use on my phone. I either use S2 or Youtubw Music. As I have seen Youtube Music is no problem, but S2 is a problem. Before the update the Watch never had problem showing S2 on the Watch, but now it's seldom happening. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

i have the same problem. No matter what i played on mobile, nothing happen on my watch 4 screen. i think it was happen after 2 recent updates. Before that, when i played video on youtube, music on spotify or YTmusic, my watch alway pop the media up and i can fully control on watch. Now it was just annoying, im using smart watch but still have to manually open media player on it

I use the Samsung Music app to listen to music and recently with my S20+ there's a "song" that appears in the app which doesn't even seem to be an audio file as it doesn't play, it just gives me an error that says that the file can not be played. I tried deleting it from the list but it just comes back by the next time I restart the phone it seems. It's called fxaa and I have no idea what it is or where it came from. Also my voice messages I send to people for some reason also appear in the Samsung music app as well and it's quite annoying when shuffling through musix and I just randomly hear a message I sent someone. Does anyone know how to solve these problems?

I have audio stored on my phone, which I play using samsung music app. When I am hands free I want to use Bixby to control the app, but everytime I try it wants open Spotify. Is there any way round this?

hope that you are doing well. You can control Samsung Music using Bixby by saying say, "play," "pause," or "skip to next song," when you are in the app and Bixby will perform the command. However, when you give Bixby a command with a specific song title, artist, or genre, Spotify will automatically open, even if you have another music app opened.

So, you can start playing music / tracks / playlist only on Spotify, but you can always use "Play", "Stop", "Next song", "Previous song" and so on as it is supported for every media application on Android by the System capsule.

Use case I: New phone

I was able to transfer the playlists from the old to the new phone by using Samsung Smartswitch. Just ensure the music is on the target phone before running the Smartswitch (use TotalCommander with WiFi plugin etc to copy it). Also important: After copying, run Samsung Music App and give it the time to discover the music on your target phone. Then finally, run SmartSwitch on both phones to transfer apps + settings.

Note: In most cases this works fine, but I found that in a few cases the exported playlist cannot be reimported, possibly due to lame programming in the code of the music app. In those cases import ends up with an error (0 files imported).

After a rescan and full rescan it did not find the folder I have full of mp3s. I tried folder selection but only have 3 option, Internal Storage, prism/, and optics/. When I click the + symbol to "Add Storage/Provider Plugin" and select the proper folder that my music is in I get a notification that reads, "Allow Poweramp to access files in Music". After clicking Allow I get a error message that says "Invalid Storage, Please use the sidebar in the system dialog to select the target provider plugin". What is going on? I need help resolving this big issue.

I would suggest clearing app data, or app permissions, first so you can start from scratch with no permissions. Then you need to Grant Access to the specific folder (not root area) that contains all your music (using the Settings > Library > Music Folders screen). Once that is done, you can go back in to Settings > Library > Music Folders and tick the relevant folder for PA to scan. It should go automatically then, but if you need to force it go to Settings > Library > FULL Rescan.

I've got two Samsung TVs, 2018 models with the Apple Music App. Whenever I launch a playlist to have music in the background, the app stops playing after 30-45 minutes or so and the screen says content no longer available. Hitting play again resumes playback. This will happen with either TV and I'm not accessing Apple Music from another device. This doesn't happen if I stream directly into my system from my phone via bluetooth but I prefer to playback from the tv.

It almost seems intentional kind of like the 'Are you still there?' message some apps like Pandora display. I really prefer to just leave background music streaming non-stop while I'm working. Is there a setting I can change or something else I can do?

Can you also tell us if you notice any similar issues while streaming content with other apps on your devices? For instance, does this same thing happen when streaming from other music apps or streaming video content?

Same problem on Samsung UE55MU6172 (bought 2018). Tried everything possible.

Spotify recommends 200-500MB free space. I have uninstalled every single app possible. There is not even 500MB free space total on latest smart tvs even if you uninstall everything. I see this as ABSOLUTE FAIL on Spotify side. Its a simple app for playing music for christ sake, the only reason it will eat all the memory in your device is POOR design.

I was literally about to buy PREMIUM, but what is the point of buying premium if you cant do something as trivial as playing music on my new Tv? You can stream HD movies on Netflix or HBOgo without any problems, but booom, you turn on Spotify and primitive music needs at least 500Mb.

I have movies and music on my server and use my TV to play music quite a lot but prefer my library to be on shuffle. There seemed to be an issue with actually shuffling every song in my music folder so I was advised to press play on the MUSIC folder icon and this would shuffle every track. This works but only issue is that the shuffle starts again from the exact same song each time and play in the same order as the last time I listened ? Any work around for this ?

Each time I see this topic I just feel compelled to comment (only because it is the last remaining thing on my wish list for the expectations of Emby). Please, please, please add the ability to simultaneously play random pictures from the photo library while playing random/shuffled music by genre. As I've stated many times before in different threads about this topic, this is the last remaining capability holdover from WMC7 that I don't have in Emby that would make my transition officially complete and I could forget about WMC forever. This was a feature that we used a great deal in our household from WMC and is sorely missed.

Currently I get around the limitation by setting up huge genre based music playlists which handles the music side but then I can't random play all pictures in my library simultaneously. You can only play pictures from a specific folder and then not in random order while playing the music.

Please throw this in to the development loop when you work on the random play music capability. Your work is greatly appreciated and you guys would be become the gods of the industry, in my opinion, if you could make that happen.

One other quick related question, is it on the development map to also include visualizations during music play in the future? Soundspectrum G-Force was always my favorite but any that you could integrate into Emby for use would be great. I suspect this latter capability would have to come in as a plugin, correct? 006ab0faaa
